Statement from the Ice WA Mission
We recognise that the regime of the Communal Union is currently in danger, as a result of a violent military coup backed by Devonia in Southport City. However, all efforts sponsored by the Ice States in the World Assembly, including the "Statement on Conflict in Varathron", shall continue with the Communal Union maintaing the Ice membership in the World Assembly. The Ice World Assembly offices have relocated to Oakmouth, which is safeguarded by foreign forces with our approval.
The Ice World Assembly mission shall continue to be led by Alexander Nicholas Saverchenko-Colleti, who shall continue to hold the World Assembly Ambassador position. No other posts within the World Assembly Mission of the Ice States shall be changed as a result of this change of the centre of operations.
Signed,
~Courtney Hazelbush,
Elected President,
The Communal Union of the Ice States.
~Alexander Nicholas Saverchenko-Colleti,
World Assembly Ambassador,
The Communal Union of the Ice States.

"We believe that it is certainly a matter of World Assembly relevance when it has the potential to endanger World Assembly members unlucky enough to be in the sphere of influence of the warring powers. There are already World Assembly members such as Kylarnatia involved in the war; and others such as the Drakonian Imperium well within the sphere of influence of the war."

"Your draft fails to elaborate as to why or how this conflict has such potential to endanger WA members to the extent that it is an issue which the whole of the WA should take a position on. To our knowledge a WA member going to war is not forbidden under extant WA law; are there other potential violations occurring? Ought the WA take an official position on any conflict in which at least one of its members finds itself?

"Ordinarily, the World Assembly need not take a position on any conflict its members take part in. However, it certainly should take a position on a conflict which is endangering not just current participants in the war, but all sorts of nations in the areas. This is not just any war; as stated in the preamble, this is 'a brewing apocalypse given the sheer quantity of corrupt superpowers simultaneously warring each other'."
