SPECIAL Q&A
"Why does Doorsbreeken look developed for a capital of a place that just escaped military dictatorship?"
= Remember, Doorsbreeken used to be a proper city before the dictatorship took over. Most of the tall buildings you see in Doorsbreeken (including the current tallest, the 239, is built before 1988. However, most of the skyscrapers came from poor economic management and turned to be a major expense. The city's skyline was left in the past after the dictatorship took over and temporarily changed the city's name to "Baerland". Currently though, after reunification, you can see development of tall buildings everywhere as demand increases.

Designed by Adam Yozairi Architectural Company, "The Musical Pearl" is the embodiment of what Doorsbreekenstad hopes to be known for after WorldVision concluded in their country. Team 107 hopes that Doorsbreekenstad will be remembered as a place of good music, enjoyment, and happiness. Other than that, this stage pays tribute to South Alezia's growing pearl industry. The bendy arches in the back represented South Alezia walking away from rigidness of the past and moving forward with the world to the future. The entire stage in concept represents South Alezia ready and open to the world just like a pearl revealed from its' seashell.
With screens provided by ARICO, you can expect to see that you can do anything with the screen because the entire stage is a screen which can be turned on for immersion.
Sint Pieters Auditorium is large, and large stages used to be an issue for countries back when we last hosted the competition in the 93rd edition, which is why we decided to limit the stage size to allow movement.
Pyrotechnics and lights will be immersely used should Doorsbreekenstad be chosen to host the competition. The pearl on the top is also another screen which can be used however the delegation likes. Some may express concern about the pearl's size. But nothing to worry about, the pearl is made with precision and sustained by the four pillars made of strong material and by lots of invisible string made of strong material.

Things to do in Doorsbreekenstad Part 1
TOP LEFT: Traverse the two new built lines of the Doorsbreekenstad Metro moving through the financial centre, business, and entertainment.
TOP RIGHT: Explore Doorsbreekenstad's industrial capabilites that make its economy grow and bustle such as the oil, ore, and farming industries.
BOTTOM LEFT: Explore Doorsbreekenstad's many pedestrian-only areas full of restaurants, shops, and other places that are guaranteed to entertain you!
BOTTOM RIGHT: Traverse Doorsbreekenstad's tram lines built since the Dutch colonization era, which is the largest tram network in the Alezian Union

Things to do in Doorsbreekenstad Part 2
TOP LEFT: Explore and enjoy Doorsbreekenstad and South Alezia's ever-evolving farming industry, enjoy South Alezian-made produce and fresh foods from its' farmers markets spread all across the city. We recommend Zuiden-brood (Southern Bread), a sweet bread usually served with jam or chocolate and warm coffee or tea. Just don't dunk it to your drink, South Alezians will be mad at you, they said that it disrespects the baker.
TOP RIGHT: Visit the twin tower of the Mall of South Alezia (MASA). Your best shopping choices are all available here, from international stores to shops selling South Alezian made merchandises. The mall is located in the ground and under it, and twin towers above the mall are used for office space and hotels which can be used as accomodation for those who came to DBStad for WorldVision.
BOTTOM LEFT: Visit the Van Deventer Fort, the oldest fort in South Alezia built in the Sultanate era then taken over by the Dutch before destroyed by an earthquake in 1959. You can look at a 360 degree look at Doorsbreekenstad and its' outlying city: Wilhelminaden and Wilhelminastad.
BOTTOM RIGHT: Visit the Statue of Our Lady Wilhelmina. If you said it looks like the American Statue of Liberty, then you are almost right. But SOLW is not located on an island, and represented something else entirely. Instead of independence, it represents the South Alezian spirit to Vaal Nooit or Tolak Jatuh, which represents resilience and the spirit to never fall to anyone or any situation they don't desire.

OH BOY. I kept wanting to do this, but kept holding it back, especially when the big wigs bid and I'd think I have no chance... Anyway, time to be brave and propose my bid for the contest. I've done it in 93, time to do it again, hopefully better. Hopefully what I've shown here be a great consideration for you at home to pick me to host the contest.
Anyway, in the case I got selected, I'm doing a soft deadline (details coming soon regarding how I'm going to do that), and I'm holding a semifinal if it passes through a threshold recommended by the WorldVision Committee.
Thank you, and have a nice day!

The lines have closed, and the results for Symfonik have been released. After an exciting Grand Final, the international jury and Polkopian televoters have decided that Galiya Nott would represent their Polkopia in the upcoming Worldvision Song Contest with her song, Sparks Are Gone. While the song is said to remain in English, rumors are beginning to circulate around a potential lyrical change. While this is just speculation, Polkopia's entry for its return Worldvision has thus been decided, and preparations are well underway for Galiya and her team to deliver an excellent performance.
You can find more information on Polkopia's entry to the 107th Worldvision Song Contest below:
