Lexington Protocol Underway

While the Frontiers update's release has caught many by surprise, we are happy to report at this time that our repsonse to the update has been well-oiled and satisfactory. The initial implementation of the Lexington Protocol, our internal document mapping out Concord's transition to a Frontier, has thus far moved forward with little and acceptable levels of deviation, which is to be expected due to the rapidly evolving nature of the world under this new system.

We are cautious, yet optimistic, about the way forward in this turbulent time. We wish all of our allies the best of luck in establishing any Frontiers, or in otherwise reinforcing their stability in this new era. Our military in particular is excited for this new challenge of continuing our mission to support peace and sovereignty for regions abroad, such as with our ongoing Operation Wishing Well which has provided over 30 endorsements of support to the North Pacific Army in The Wellspring.

Adaptability and innovation will be of the essence in the coming months, and having recently entered our eighth year of existence, we look forward to exploring this new chapter in our community's story within this new climate.

You can only rely on some things in life. In times of uncertainty and struggle there's a lot that's up in the air, but one thing is for sure: Vara will spend an obscene amount of time just browsing NationStates for no particular reason. This came in handy today, as he came across The End after seeing good 'ol Unibot's post in the TRT thread.

Unibot, of course, made some genius plays in mapping out the future of his region as a Frontier. The first genius move was abdicating as Governor during the transition. Then, he removed the trivia question that provided the password from the WFE. Actually changing the password, of course, is for silly people. Not those trailblazing players who live on the edge.

Notcing this transition, of course, provided some epic content potential, and we simply could not help ourselves.

To clarify, I was curious about the feature and wanted to try it out without accepting newcomers. I really don’t care about “The End” (it deserves better than me!) - it’s just a placeholder so I can reside in a region without upsetting people who don’t want me in their region. I’ll make another one if I’m ejected so that I don’t bother TRR. Have fun, stay for as long as you like. I get lonely!

I knew what I was doing. I wanted to try out the UX for the new feature, and knew others may react. I don’t have any attachment to the region and after eight years of this stuff, I’m sadly a bit numb to critics, I don’t have a lot more to give back.
