Has anyone ever actually successfully raided SFBA? I know New Damis thought he had you tee'd up from the inside in March 2007, but there were delays and he couldn't get the numbers to take a shot after a while.

They don't get a Governor. But they have the option of changing to Frontier and back again, which would allow them to get one.

Despite appearing in All activity, converting your region to a Frontier does not appear in Admin activity.. or any category for that matter. Sorry that this wasn't found earlier :sweat:

I’ve checked the activity page for recent foundings, and I haven’t seen a single new founding after the update launch in a region other than the Pacifics.

I imagine a region would have to actually be classified as a Frontier to be tagged as one, not just transitioning.

There won't be any eligible Frontiers yet. They'll need a WA Delegate for starter, so after minor update is the soonest you'll see Frontier spawnings.

Should be auto-applied to a region at its first update after becoming a Frontier.

If inter-mod communication is so ass-backwards that the gameplay development manager is unaware of the launch date of the biggest gameside change in years until it's literally happening, maybe don't promise a heads-up in the first place?

lol. Of course there will always be salt about something random - the people wanting the 'first frontier' or 'first injunction' got caught flat footed.

So far less game breaking bugs than a normal feature launch (maps is a pretty good example, but ROs had some stuff too), so the testing went alright. I think there are still some cosmetic bugs I saw people taking screenshots off somewhere.

I didn't quite realise until now, but Frontiers founded in these 2 weeks get a head start on anyone wanting to transition their region.

Watching the world activity page and seeing nations set up successors and immediately abdicate is so satisfying. You just know that these people have been waiting so long for the opportunity to pass off the torch. Great work from the admin team, congratulations on reaching release. 76 successors appointed and 14 successions in the first 2 hours already!

I knew the launch date when it was happening, because I gave it the go ahead to happen this morning - everything was in place, and Violet had time to implement then and there. There seemed little point in delaying by days for the sake of announcing a time in advance.
