The Foreign Ministry of Gaul welcomes you!
The Republic of Terre des Gaules is a strong nation that is steeped in history and has been a force for good in Teremara, the region we call home. We support democracy and freedom all over the globe. The national language of Gaul is a dialect many know as French, and very similar to other Franco dialects the world over. The culture is diverse due to our very liberal immigration policies and the infusion of former Gaulic colonial peoples from across Teremara and Wishtonia that have enriched and strengthened the Republic.
We welcome diplomatic relations with almost all nations, regardless of ideology, and have room for many embassies or consulates in our capital, Paritte. Nations wishing to open consulates in other cities may do so in Touloux, Bourdeau, La Rochoux, or Bayeun.
Due to our pre-existing alliances and military treaties, they preclude us from joining in any additional military or political alliance outside of Teremara, although we will certainly be open to keeping cooperative lines open between our government and military and any friendly nation we have diplomatic relations with. We are also always open to trade talks to improve the economies of both our nations.
As per international law, we respect your embassy or consulate compound as your own sovereign soil, but we ask that you in turn honor International law and human rights. We also remind your personnel to respect our domestic laws when your staff leave your diplomatic compound grounds and travel within our Republic. We honor all religions, ideologies, philosophies, creeds, etc.; as long as it does not incur harm to living creatures or impinge on basic human rights.
We do ask that you limit your staff to 30 personnel total or under (diplomatic, security, service, etc.), 5 civilian vehicles and 2 civilian or transport aircraft that can be kept at any of the airports near our major cities your embassy or consulate is located within. For consulates, we would ask for a limit of 20 personnel, 3 civilian vehicles and 1 civilian aircraft. Armored vehicles are acceptable, but not military vehicles.
Should you choose to identify your Intelligence head of station and/or agents, as well as military personnel, they will have diplomatic immunity within the limits of international law. We are only accepting one Attache team for either your embassy or main consulate. Their identity will not be revealed to third parties. Should you choose to keep military personnel or intelligence agents' identities secret from Gaul that are operating within our borders, they will be vulnerable to full prosecution in our civilian and military court system for espionage activities. Choose wisely. We look forward to expanding relations with your nation!
Our Minister of Foreign Affairs is Heloise Telaclan
Our President is Michel Trevalle
Our Prime Minister is Bertrand St. Vitroix

COMPOUNDS AND THEIR CONSTRUCTION
Guest nations may build their own compound within reason, but they will be liable for the cost of moving the historical building in that lot to a new location, if the guest nation chooses not to incorporate it into their compound. A guest nation may specify a request to be neighbors or share a compound with another nation's embassy or consulate and we will do our best to accommodate that request, pending the requested nation's affirmation.
OTHER INFORMATION
Please refer to My factbooks for more information.
If this format looks familiar, it’s because I lifted it from another nation I operate. So, yes, I copied myself.
Formal cover letter with applications are not required, but very much appreciated. (Allowances are made for newer NS Nations. Veteran, more established NS Nations should RP an IC full diplomatic letter.)
