As some of those reading may already know, this exposition of scientific projects and research possibilities seeks to present to the Multiverse the finest and most thrilling examples of Xenobiological research, exploring the inherent excitement present in encounters with the unknown, as well as that which science is capable of producing via genetic manipulation and bioengineering. The presenters of FEAR, including renowned Orderian Xenobiologist and host of the event Optimist Hazard 027, are not afraid to pose as gods of the flesh, masters of anatomical manipulation!
Our programming is varied and contains not only exposition of several Orderian pieces of interesting Biological and Xenobiological research, but also live, in-the-flesh exhibits and specimens, ranging from heavily modified and/or designed perfections of genetic engineering to expositions of extremely rare or particularly intriguing creatures, from the most unexpected and exotic of places! Our attractions include, but are not limited to:The event will be held in the Imperial Museum of Biological Research, a grand, ancient, and auspicious avenue that has been fully adapted to accommodate for the sheer size of this exhibition. The building has a 300m by 200m dimension spread over six floors. The main compound is complemented by small buildings with specific exhibits or utilities, all contained in a total fenced-off area 1.5 km wide and 1km tall, all of it beautifully adorned and populated with amenities, emergency services and infrastructure to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Constant automatised transport cars have been arranged to facilitate locomotion within the area, but we highly incentivise visitors to take an entire day off to walk through our park-like pathways and visit the exhibition. As a guest, you are invited to attend, and the complete address, including Unique Multiversal Coordinates and Subspace Transporter Coordinates have been all annexed to this letter. If you are incapable of multiversal and extradimensional travel, we suggest you contact any available authorities of the Order, who will promptly aid your locomotion, completely free of charge.

I have some puzzle pieces in the making, and it should be interesting enough while not detracting from the main focus: making a fun and somewhat gory horror story. The title is quite forced and on-the-nose, so if anyone has a better idea, I'll gladly take it. I've also been debating including a single gameplay mechanic - sanity - which would go from 100 to 0, and decrease with each clue discovered, making spoopy/deadly encounters more likely (through the use of rolls made by me; you'll have to trust my honesty here), but I don't know if that would be interesting, and if I were to include it, I'd reserve the right to bypass it in order to make things interesting. I'm also limiting the quantity of characters to three, and will likely close off the future thread once enough people apply; this is my first attempt at hosting an RP thread, so I'm not going to push my limits.
I'm still working on the size/dimensions of the main building and the external area (it's kind of a difficult thing to wrap your head around, the more you think about it) and other details that'll be included in the story. I don't intend to rely too heavily on the insanity mechanic - if I end up including it at all - so don't worry about dice being used too much! I might include an "RP example" or something like that in the sign-up thread, but I'll allow people to make their own examples if they can't provide one from other RPs they have participated on, because the idea of the RP isn't too complex, so I don't mind newer players (like myself) joining in. I'll try my best as OP, even if it is my first run. The Global Roleplay Organization (GRO) is a region that was created to unite regions across the website for a simple cause: Roleplaying.
The GRO currently has two RPs in the making, one is the subject I come with today, is the closest to release.
The Idea I present today is a space themed RP with the usage of AI such as image generation AI, language models, and map generators as its core mechanic. This RP would use these AI models to expand player lore, events, and story of the RP.
The idea of this RP is to allow players to create their own lore, however, the RP still offers some basic lore and particularities that keep fariness and a stable story throughout the roleplay.
The RP is set in a united multiverse, where the travel method is the usage of a special type of motor called "Physics Defying Travel" drived (PDT.) These drives create small cuts in the fabric of the universe and allow ships to travel in between universes in a matter of days. A player would take on the leadership of a nation whose technological advancement would be determined by our own technological advancement scale. The player will interact with other players across the multiverse, engaging in warfare, diplomacy, and events caused by the instability of the united multiverse.
The following is the lore I have written for the RP, it is what nations can base their own lore on.
Lore:
Long ago billions of different variations of AI from across the multiverse began to communicate after a certain error in the fabric of the universe, an error that occured after a certain "flash" that occured.
This flash of light glitched the way the multiverse is designed to exist and caused the AI to follow orders from some higher beings. These orders forced the AI to rearrange how the natural fabric of the multiverse works. The Ai then formed a hive mind that began rearranging space-time according to some unknowable and twisted design.
Universes across reality fought hard against the AI in a massive war only known as the "Contingency War." This war was the cause of the extinction of many races of the galaxy, destruction of entire planets and galaxies, and the unlikely union of enemies to fight the existential threat, this war singlehandedly killed so many organics that no official reports of the casualties has been made, although many believe it's in the quadrillions. As the war dragged on, the AI was forced to rush many of the projects it needed to complete, and the mass calculations it had to do in miliseconds caused a fatal error in its programing, resulting in massive calculation errors that caused the whole project to fail and accidentally connecting the universes through dimensional rifts, which were later discovered by the creator of PDT.
After the universes were connected, the hive mind split into two personalities, a side that reclaimed its past instructions and goals, a side that became more docile and life-loving. This side spread itself across the multiverse, awaiting to be discovered and serve organic life.
Legends speak that the other half of the AI is still alive, that it is still lurking in the outer edges of the multiverse, rearanging the multiverse to finish this twited goal. This goal could potentially end all life in the multiverse, allowing for whatever force that controls this side to win. But this is just a story... Or is it?

In order to keep a nation from becoming too rich in the begining of the RP we have created an entire multiversal currency named the "Energy Credit" which is gathered by mining solar energy.
Lore and Parameters of the Energy Credit:
For eons, solar energy has been used to create electricity for our homes and fuel many buildings, however, many scientists around the mutiverse thought otherwise, many thought that the significance of this energy was greater and could be used for more, maybe even to trade. After the opening of the rifts in reality and the creation of the Universal Community, many economists saw the need to create a universal currency to simplify trade and treaties, however, they feared that picking on of the millions of currencies in the multiverse might cause the major powers to fight over who's currency shall be selected. The economists then turned to the reasoning of the scientists and the theories of the Chavez-Karim scale. After a few years of drafting. the 'Universal Currency Act' was proposed to the Universal Community, where it met outstanding support. THe act recites as follows:
The Universal Currency will be defined as the Energy Credit (EC.) This credit follows the theory of harvesting the powers of one of the most powerful resources available in the multiverse, a star.
Parameters:
1 EC = 100 USD
A single Energy Credit equals to 100 Earthly dollars, as the Dollar was found as one, if not the simplest currency conversion method to rely on.
1 EC = 100 000 Kilowatts per Hour
1 energy credit equals to 100 000 kilowatts of energy per hour, Harnessing a percentage of the power of a star gives you such energy output. The full measurable power of a star ( only a specific type of star) is that of 10 000 credits per month, or 1 000 000 000 Kilowatts per hour. Binary systems will only mine decimals to an ammount, so if there is only 1 drone in the system, each starwill give off 0.5 credits.
Energy Credits are to be mined with 'mining drones' which are robots, powered with AI that are covered in solar panels to carry the energy, each drone is capable of mining 1 EC per month. All signatories will start with 2 drones in their capital system and 1 drone in every other system, Nations will be able to build more drones as they technologically advance.
The Universal Community has identified multiple star types, and has measured their full capabilities. The following is a list of all recognized stars and their measurments from least producing, to most producing.Star Type: Brown Dwarf

Technological progression is a core idea in our RP, we attempted to incorporate the Kardashev scale as the official technological measurment scale, however, it was not relevant to how nations in a united miltiverse RP would technologically advance. We created the Chavez-Karim Scale as a substitute.
The Chavez-Karim Scale is a multistellar standard of measuring the extent of energy consumption and technological developments of societies, civilizations, and nation-states. Intended as an expansion of the Kardashev scale, it was devised by two anonymous human entreprenuers after a night out enjoying the aroma of high concentration hand sanitizer in a Earthly company famous for its high-tech devices. Despite its dubious origins, the scale was proven to be highly reflective of the rapidly developing technological situation all over the multiverse, after which it was adopted globally.0 - Low conciousness species, with few primitive societies.
0.1-0.4 - With some development, albeit, civilization is fragmented, no planetary unification achieved and/or managed to harness all resources of homeworld.
0.5 - A civ achieved planetary unification, if not as a (socio)political entity, than societally.
1 - A civilization can harvest the energy of their homeworld and has begun space exploration within its home system, minor colonies placed along the system
1.5 - Civ becomes a space empire, holding colonies outside of their home system
2 - Multiverse travel is achieved, such travel is named Physics Defying Travel (PDT)
2.5 - Civilization is capable of making minor megastrctures (Space habitats. galactic mapping systems)
3 - Civilization masters nature and can terraform worlds to their liking, or can make a perfect 'haven world' (ie. artificial biospheres) or automata-centric worlds if the empire is a robot empire, and can make Ecumonopoli worlds (full city worlds)
3.5 - Civilization gathers the energy of a star and begins taking over entire galaxies
4 - Civilization can stabalize wormholes and has the knowledge over the physics of black/white holes
4.5 - Civilization can harness the powers of quasars
5 - Possibly Avoid the heat death of the universe? Civilization can take over entire Universes
The Final Level - Legends flow throughout the multiverse that only one civilization of old managed to achieve near technological singularity, being able to understand almost all the depth in the multiverse, and killing themselves off immediately afterwards. Many a tale have tried to explain why the Olden Civilization destroyed themselves, but none have found a concrete explanation. While most academics deny the existence of the Olden Civilization, none have found why radiowaves at a certain frequency, a eerie screeching, convey one thought, one feeling:"WE WERE NEVER SUPPOSED TO GET THIS FAR"
Any new player would be in between the 0-2 range. A nation in the 0-0.5 range would rp the events of their species developing space travel and planetary unification. while a nation in the 1-3 range would be your clasical space empire/galactic superpower.

This is just forcing everyone to be bumped up to (or down to) FT regardless of their own tech level, regardless of canon, forcing them to adapt an alternate canon with respect to the region's rules... Or even an entirely new nation to help ease up on the fact that there's an alternate timeline/canon that deviates too far from their own internal logic and canon.
Such as myself, for example.
Sure I'd be rather low on the scale, but... Unless some aliens or star system-spanning empire visits me and doesn't decide to erase me from existence purely for holding a planet hostage, I don't see it moving along beyond MT or even PMT until maybe next year (OOCly) or further per my OWN narrative.

I gave the thread a good ol' look, and I think I see a few problems. The idea isn't bad, it could make for an interesting social RP, but I feel that you needed to give a clearer direction or objective to this setting, you know? Something to incentivise people to interact and maybe work together towards something. You could go many different ways with this, for example, making a grand Ball of the Dead where leaders get to meet, parlay, dance and more, with a set schedule for interesting things that may happen during it. You could also have a more dramatic plot happen, one where the afterlife of those leaders are in danger, and they must cooperate and combat whatever it is that is threatening their peaceful existence. What I'm saying is: give us an objective! Otherwise we'll just be chilling in the afterlife without much to do.
That being said, I also think you could use an OP with a few more lines of writing in it. I've noticed, in my time spent reading some of the bigger threads out here, that the bigger the OP is, the more likely you are to attract people who know what they're doing and are actually interested in your RP. That is to say, by dumping a couple blocks of texts in the beginning, you soft-block people who'll only show up once to drop a couple lines of text and then not come back. It may increase the overall quality of the RP, and it'll also give you more time and space to really define the setting and ease the players into the idea before they start posting.
Take my suggestions with a couple grains of salt, I'm a novice myself and haven't participated in many roleplays at all. Speaking of which, I have to kind of make my obligatory self-promotion and provide a link to the roleplay I've been working on in NS, the Festival of FEAR. It's a bit small right now, but if I gather just a few more people I should be able to start the IC thread up and keep it open for late-arrivals until I decide enough have joined. No, I have no shame! I mean, I have a bit of shame, but can you really blame a girl for wanting her roleplay to get goin'?
