A Warden surveys the wastes left to cleanse by darkspawn

A sudden disappearance in recent days of the darkspawn activity brought a welcome respite to the Wardens and their allies on their journey through the lands to protect towns and rescue villages from invasion.

For lack of better things to do, patrols of Wardens and their friends set out each day to recover land from the darkspawn where they had retreated and restore once thriving areas to be hospitable to life. They'd come across dozens of villages in their days riding that needed homes repaired, burnt ruins cleared, and farmlands purged of blight left behind. It was long work but nonetheless rewarding to see places set to right without an active threat in the area.

Usually it was of no matter, but even these days darkspawn activity was so sparse that the lands in need of repair became far and few between. When darkspawn did venture out, their gains were few and quickly set back to rights by Warden forces and the restoration efforts continued in full force after they retreated once again. Soon the Wardens would need to seek out other ways to keep themselves busy when all their work was complete, maybe clean the library or dust the barracks.

The chart, to my understanding, is pulled from Puree, which was developed around that time and doesn't otherwise have data from beyond that point.

West would be correct, Puree tracks the number of tagged regions as a feature and was only introduced mid-2022. There's been plenty of times where the number of tagged regions has been lower than what Puree currently demonstrates but I don't get paid enough to track all of that data over years

The Warden's elite forces prepare for another round of battle against the darkspawn

Over the last couple days the Wardens and their allies faced multiple waves of darkspawn incursions and responded to meet the call to action. Often the raiders had as many as 6 or 7 endorsements on their point but it doesn't deter us, we continue to give as good as we can and get our share of wins. It doesn't matter what banner they move under or where they strike from for darkspawn are darkspawn and we'll continue to battle them again and again. For we are relentless.

May the deeds of our heroic Wardens be recorded in the annals of history and their efforts serve as an example for those to come.

When I assess TGW as an org, one thing I consider to be our undeniable strength is our willingness to offer opportunities to those that others might deny or hold back. We appeal to those who have skills and are driven to use them, extending equal trust to what we receive from them and barring no one from advancement. This mindset has brought us no small amount of success and filled our ranks with highly competent defenders that have contributed to the notoriety of The Order as it stands today. It remains crucial to our ability to adapt and grow as an organization as well, preparing us with what we need to continue on for years to come and building a roster of future leaders.

It's with this in mind that we add another member to our team of Commanders who has already made her presence well-known. Joining the Wardens last May and working through as a Lieutenant, Constable, and also Up and Coming Defender of the Year leaves no doubts to her dedication and hard work within the faction. She has an incredible dose of military prowess and technical skill that has brought her to the height of chasers in defending and proved invaluable for triumphs in liberations like New Westphalia. Her work within TGW has also been tireless to up our recruitment and integration game on all levels making her commitment and place in our talented Command team unquestionable.

I am thrilled to announce the immediate promotion of Varax to Warden-Commander

Varax is the third Commander promotion I have had the pleasure to offer as First Warden and serves as a reminder to me of how much The Order has expanded over the last year. We continue to aim high and develop new strategies to address needs as they come, and it leaves me with no small amount of confidence that we continue to cultivate up and coming defenders like Varax who will only improve on the work that has come before her. Her perspective, talent, and creativity are a fantastic asset as a Commander and will continue to build upon the rich history of success The Order has had for many years now--of that, I have no doubt.

A Totally Unbiased Review of the Raid on League of Christian Nations

Leading a raid is a very big deal for an organization! In many ways, it signals their partners are beginning to take them seriously and trust them with more secure op details rather than just using them for pilers. Defending has been positively on the edge of its seat waiting to see when PRAF would get a turn after supply dozens and dozens of pilers to feed raids led by other organizations, at some point it's about self-respect you know?

Imagine our surprise and delight when we saw PRAF at the helm after months of being tucked in the back seat! So, without further ado, a totally unbiased review of the raid on League of Christian Nations (LoCN):

Appearance: 0/5 Stars - Theming operations is a good way to build hype for your troops and engage them in the mission, there's a reason defenders and raiders both use this strategy

LoCN, however, was sorely lacking with a plain text WFE and not a hint of color in sight. Funny RO titles? Absent. Unique banner? Nah. Anything telling you who was involved in the op or hinting at a theme? LOL, good one. I'm begging for Lily to come back and put some bbcode goodness back into raiding at this point.

LoCN in this category was...hm. It gets one star for rallying a semi-serious looking pile but that's where things stop. Other orgs certainly contributed pilers but I could barely tell you who else from raiding was involved (and maybe they're glad for that, lol) from the empty WFE and seemingly TCB-heavy occupation points. After the founder revived, any serious raiding orgs jumped ship and gave out withdrawal orders as fast as they could which feels clear they understood a sinking ship of an op when they saw one. PRAF giving up shortly after that is just a formality to admitting a flop

Also, no bans smh? Bans on a liberation jump or even at the beachhead of defenders once in the region is essential to holding a region and we saw none, 0, nada.

Where do we start here? Usually, when you make raid commentary you don't talk about how little you held for, how you got no bans due to a personal skill issue, or the fact that it was an organizational cluster. I guess you could go the "haha so funny route" but are you really putting in hours of effort and coordination with other orgs to make them send out pilers for that? Also absolute laugh at the efficiency talking point, "World's most efficient W for PRAF" seems to translate better to "why PRAF hasn't been allowed to run an op until now"

But you never know! Maybe Raider Unity is patting itself on the back for placating PRAF by letting them run an op that flopped in less than a day and then allows everyone else to get onto more serious business. You'd think they would put some more effort in training PRAF up to par but I guess if they stay untrained it's an excuse to give them less opportunity in the raider faction -- but what do I know, this is just a silly report

tl;dr - if this was a funny raid, it's because it was PRAF-led

I find it incredibly amusing that the Wardens are implicitly admitting they didn't even look at the region until after the founder came back and nuked all the pretty stuff, somewhere in the 2 or 3 sets of RO appointment battles Iota was conducting while seeing when the founder would get their shit together, lmfao.

If they had, they'd have seen, for example, the full slate of RO's repping every participating region with generally satanic/punny/lgbt RO titles:
