About OWARS :: OWARS is intended as a 'light' filler or introductory motorsports series and is not intended as a Top-level Formula 1 Style series. Typically each nation will be restricted to a single entry. For top level Formula 1 Style Motorsports RP using traditional NS Sports scorination methods see the World Grand Prix Organization and its signature event, the World Grand Prix Championship.

The OWARS NSGP is an Open Wheel Auto Racing Series where nations enter a single car to compete against each other. In terms of a real-life comparison, NSGP could be seen as a hybrid between A1GP and the US IndyCar Racing Series. Additionally, NSGP differs from traditional NS Sports events in that the scorination is done using the third party Batracer Engine opposed to Xkoranate or TRS. Unlike previous seasons, NSGP V will feature primarily/only Road Course events and will utilize the A1GP Style Feature/Sprint schedule. This season will feature a total of 20 Races, 10 "Feature" Length races and 10 "Sprint" length races that follow each feature race.

Points toward the season standings will be awarded as follows:

RP Bonus :: RP Bonus will be applied in the form of "Speed" boosts to a players car with more RP giving a greater odds of faster lap times. There will be a maximum total speed boost of 4 Seconds, and any player who has RP'd during the season will have a minimum of 1 second time reduction to their lap potential compared with Non-RPing drivers.

As this is a 'light' series using non-traditional methods, the RP Barrier is relatively low. Contributing a reasonable RP of any length is worth 20% of the RP Bonus factor while a simple relevant, multi-paragraph RP or other quality contribution would garner a majority of the available RP bonus for a given day. Longer RPs are permitted but anything longer than a few paragraphs of sustained quality is unlikely to earn any 'additional' bonus compared with a shorter contribution of the same quality.

* Sprint races marked with * take place ICly at a different race track than the corresponding Feature. For these events, for IC purposes the baseline would be that only the race cars themselves and a race day "Crash Cart" for each team are sent forward to the sprint circuit with the bulk of the race equipment sent from feature circuit to feature circuit. For races where Feature and Sprint are on the same track, it is assumed that those events happen on consecutive days. When Feature/Sprint are in different Nations, it can be assumed there is a multi-day or week long gap between these events. ICly the race distances can still be full but will award only Sprint points.

There is no Qualifying for Sprint Races. The starting lineup is the previous race finishing order with the Top 8 inverted.

OOC: We are currently at 11 Signups. Once we get to 12 we will set the First Race Weekend to begin 24-48 hours later. Events Guide: NSGP of Vilita / Streets of Alikki-Corra Sprint

The teams of the OWARS NSGP circuit will kick off Season V with in Atlantian Oceania and in particular the Vilitan Cove region with the Alikki-Corra Street Course hosting the first two events of the series comeback campaign in the capital city of the Tropics of Vilita. The Alikki-Corra Street Course has previously played host to the World Grand Prix 2 Circuit's Season 4 and the Atlantian Oceania Grand Prix series. Two of the drivers on the OWARS NSGP V Grid have prior experience racing at the circuit in its previous configurations with Valentine Z's Adriana Kowalski Ela Lillian having won the Inaugural race on the original Streets of Alikki-Corra layout during World Grand Prix 2 Season 4 while Oontaznik NSGP driver Bismillah Untas took part in the most recent AOGP race in Alikki-Corra finishing as runner up to Hapilopper's Roy Marshall. The two are certain to be among the favorites heading into the race weekend.

Overview:
The 4.61 km course traverses through different zones of Vilita's Capital City including the business district, downtown Corra park and through the Alikki-Corra Academy of Sciences. While much of the course utilizes pre-existing road surfaces, two sections were added specifically for the street course including the "esses" built through the grounds of the Alikki-Corra Academy of Sciences.

The team paddocks are the other area of major new construction for the course, funded by the Alikki-Corra Academy of Sciences the paddock area doubles as Laboratory and Research space for the Academy when there is no ongoing racing session with any equipment brought into the spaces to be movable and non-permanent to facility the potential re-use of the designated Paddock and Pit area for future Grands Prix on the same or similar course layout within the capital city.

The Alikki-Corra Grand Prix Course is the first ever World Grand Prix sanctioned event on a non-permanent course in the Vilitan Cove region. All Fans with tickets to the Streets of Alikki-Corra Grand Prix will also be granted free admission to the Alikki-Corra Academy of Science Galleries and Exhibit Halls.

Racing Line:

Drivers will determine the best racing line during the initial practice sessions on the Street Course which will only have just been completed in the weeks leading up to the WGP2 Season Opener. With it being the first ever event held on the course, there is little more than simulation data and educated guesses as to how rubber will wear into the racing surface and effect the preferred entry and potential overtaking zones.

While there will be small sections of the course where drivers will be able to accelerate to high speeds, many of these sections also come with low to moderate elevation change. The most difficult section of the course is likely to be the Academy esses which are non-uniform and drivers will have to choose to sacrifice speed and entry into one corner to set themselves up for another. It could offer unpredictable opportunities for overtaking throughout the event.

Although we're fairly new we still plan to perform just as well if not better than our competitors

We've all linked together, we each have the same wakeup routine, same diet, same everything. We are going to be a uniform machine

Q3: Where did you race prior to joining OWARS? (If anywhere)
The streets of the Diamond District back home, our racing scene was mostly underground but after a new raceway was built we've been there almost every day and competed in some more local and regional competitions

Q4: Looking at the entry list, who do you foresee as your biggest rival this season?
If I had to pick I'd probably go Valentine Z, at 10KI we get plenty of nations from the Pacific regions causing trouble so I'm going to assume the same going into the race.

I started out street racing, the streets are where I feel at home, so if any course is suited for me and my team its this one

There's a bunch of new experiences for us all around, we've raced regionally in Minata and have had a great rivalry series in Nixnay but this will be a first. I'm looking forward to the culture as it is much different in Gemmisland than everywhere else, I've always been a big buff for that kind of experience

Q7: Do you think the organizers were crazy to schedule this race and a Vilita National Team game on the same weekend?
They're certainly optimistic I'll give them that. The dollar signs appear and who wouldn't want such a big spectacle like that?

Youhei Joho is a young prospect in motorsport. He currently holds a Diarcesian WGP3 championship title after his victory in the Glorian Grand Prix and is aiming to perform well in international single-seater racing, with his eyes set on either WGPC or OWARS. Joho has some history of participating in motorsports competitions; he took part at a local stock car championship as a driver and, as an aside, also played ice hockey during his school days, which helped him get accustomed to high-speed driving conditions.

Joho is born into an affluent family that owns several gas stations throughout the Dieresis-Pretorian Prefecture of Ikuyo and the neighboring country of Yechia, so it was no surprise that he got exposed to motorsports from early childhood when going out with his parents for weekend drives around their hometown city on weekends. His passion for speed came later while playing ice hockey competitively at school level during middle school—due to the nature of the sport where players are constantly subjected by forces exerted upon them by opponents or teammates alike. Through physical interaction during gameplay (either intentional or unintentional), this exposure not only made him physically fit but also mentally tough enough so that similar pressures wouldn't affect him negatively once exposed through racing situations later on (however if one were being honest about it, there's always room for improvement). This all culminated into his decision to try out stock car racing in his hometown circuit and, though not a shining start by any means, eventually led him to win the local championship title after multiple victories throughout the season.

Motorsports is an expensive endeavor for anyone interested in it internationally; that's why Joho decided to go with Yechia's massively influential Hilo Motorsports as a sponsor rather than going with any of the stingier mainland Diarcesian ones. The team he was in offered him great support during his WGP3 campaign, combined with his personal partnership with Hilo (which would be extended should he make it into WGPC), so they can take on this new challenge together knowing each other inside-out already from beforehand.

Q1: What are your teams expectations for this season?
"My goals are simple: to finish on the podium at least once and, if possible, win a race. All things considered though, it'll take time for me to adapt to this new environment that is international single-seater racing. That being said though...what could go wrong?"

Q2: What have you and your team done to prepare for this season?
"We have completed testing the car. Everything went well and we were able to learn a lot about the OWARS-specification machinery."

Q3: Where did you race prior to joining OWARS? (If anywhere)
"I raced in the Diarcesian WGP3 with Hilo Motorsports and their Diarcesian-affiliated team"

Q4: Looking at the entry list, who do you foresee as your biggest rival this season?
"I can't really say for certain, but I'd wager it would be someone from Atlantian Oceania."

Q5: Have you ever driven on a street course before? What course type fits your driving style the best?
"I have driven on a street course before. Turns can be tricky, but I think that straights would be more of a problem."

Q6: Have you ever raced in Vilita before - or even been to Vilita before? What are you looking forward to the most?
"I have never been to Vilita before, but I am looking forward to the race weekend and its atmosphere."

Q7: Do you think the organizers were crazy to schedule this race and a Vilita National Team game on the same weekend?
"I think so too, yes. It'll be a nightmare to get around."

Q8: What other track are you looking forward to competing at most this season?
"Pyrolissus." [NSGP of Diarcesia]

"I like the raw ceek sandwiches from the southern parts of Mainland Diarcesia. The ham that comes with it is very crispy."

"I have a tattoo of the Hilo Motorsports logo on my right arm. It symbolizes that I am part of this team forever."

Mosden Eckford: We hope to get the car over the line by round six, and I know I speak for Tinni and the whole team when I say an eleventh-placed finish in the Deltic GP would be considered a home victory.

Q2: What have you and your team done to prepare for this season?
Ilda Husky: We bought a second-hand Airfix Dallama Batracer still in kit form from a collector in Taxhavn, and it is nearly assembled. The paint arrives in the morning and we should have the gloss on before first practice, all things being well.

Mosden Eckford: I thought we were painting before we took the parts off the sprues?

Ilda Husky: Yes but the paint hadn't arrived and we couldn't wait any longer.

Tinni Kight: Mostly in Attila Tasher's bedroom - he's got the best eSports rig I know including a vibrating seat. I've done a lot of hours on WGPC-19, even though it's a bit out of date.

Ilda Husky: The weather, almost certainly. Maybe the tarmac.

Mosden Eckford: We don't expect to get close to any of the teams.

Tinni Kight: You have to say Team Vilita-Turori have the best livery. If we could get in an action photo alongside them, probably being lapped, we'd look totally like pros in the freeze-frame of their reflected glory.

Ghinnera Chattquiet: I think we covered that already.

Tinni Kight: Being chased by the River Patrol is pretty much the best thing.

Mosden Eckford: Although we have no expectation of being chased by anyone in this series.

PRE SEASON DRIVERS PRESS CONFERRENCE
Nathaniel Van De Soubre. Out of the many drivers Atheara could have chosen from the Athearan Grid Racing Championship (AGRC) or even the Athearan Grand Touring League (A-GTL), for some reason the Athearan Racing Committee decided to choose a driver who would be out of a seat from EdgeTech's AGRC team to represent Atheara for the OWARS NSGP. He isn't even a starting driver, but rather the third man for in case anything happens to the two main drivers for EdgeTech. De Soubre is only 22 years of age, and usually a driver who's the third man for a team as good as EdgeTech domestically either means they are being prepared to take the reigns of the first or second driver seat, or the team didn't really need him all that much. De Soubre was part of the latter of that statement, but Atheara was willing to give him a chance with this golden opportunity.

Nathaniel Van De Soubre was born within the city of Kallen, and lived relatively close to the Kallen Grand Circuit which is used for the AGRC. When his father took him to watch an AGRC race there, it sparked De Soubre's interest and love for racing. De Soubre started with karting, then motorcycle racing, before making the big switch to cars at the age of 16. One thing that was persistent throughout his career though was the fact that he didn't feel comfortable with any of the vehicles he was in. Nathaniel was rated as an above average driver and was picked up by Halozia Racing Team for a few seasons. But after failing to impress, HRT threw him aside and EdgeTech picked him up. But even then, he was given little opportunity and EdgeTech saw no use in holding him as the third driver while they let his contract burn out.

But then the ARC declared a test trial for drivers in order to decide on who to represent them and Atheara for the OWARS NSGP, and De Soubre having nothing to do quickly signed up for the trials. Throughout the five trial races since doing so, he finished the trial at 1st place overall by a considerable margin and was selected to represent Atheara. Before resorting to the trials, the ARC had asked some of Atheara's best drivers if they want to represent the nation, but all said no due to the fact that most if not all of Atheara's best drivers were nearing retirement age, and they aren't sure if a possible mediocre at best finish within an international championship would be their go to choice. And thus Nathaniel Van De Soubre is now within the Pre-Season Drivers Press Conferrence, which is actually not even his fifth time being in a press conferrence.

Q1: What are your teams expectations for this season?
"Atheara's expectations for this season are, uhm, well... I think it was to just finish as best as possible? Yes, to finish as high up in the standings as possible. We really will be doing our best and to our maximum uh, capacity this season. As our debut season in racing, in general. We want to make a good, and by that I mean really good impression for ourselves so we'll be trying our best and the team sincerely hopes everyone else will be doing so too."

Q2: What have you and your team done to prepare for this season?
"Okay, I'll just say we did way too much things... Kind of overdid it if it's how you say it. Uhm, uhhh, we did a lot of testing and practicing. A lot of preparation was put mainly into me as the driver and due to my lack of driving except for the somewhat recent ARC Trials, so they want me to clean off the rust in terms of my racing capabilities. The entire team also helped in other ways, such as helping me get comfortable and to get everyone accustomed to eachother. Team bonding, you know those type of things. We did a lot of that and we can certainly say we are ready, hopefully so."

Q3: Where did you race prior to joining OWARS?
"Oh, I raced in a lot of different leagues and events when I was younger. From karting, to uh motorcycle racing. I joined my regional karting league and did decently well, then made the jump to motorcycles and also did quite well if I say so the least. Then I joined car racing, specifically Athearan Grid Cars... Then I was picked up by my first professional team. It's quite the journey I know, but to be honest I never felt too comfortable racing in anything until now, so we'll see how my previous races will affect my current performance on the circuit... Or track, whatever you call it."

Q4: Looking at the entry list, who do you foresee as your biggest rival this season?
"Rivals, rivals, rivals... In all honesty, throughout my youth career and still now I never really had a rival. Well, mainly because I haven't raced much so far in my senior career and of course that will change. Hmm, well, if I had to choose who I would say as my biggest rival this season... It would probably be someone I don't expect. I'm not sure in all honesty though, everyone on the damn grid is a potential rival and we'll only see who it ends up being as we race throughout the series. I personally am excited at the prospect of a rival, so I'll be looking forward to it."

Q5: Have you ever driven on a street course before? What course type fits your driving style the best?
"I've actually never driven on a street course before, actually. So this will pretty much be a new racing experience, considering that when street course races were in the AGRC schedule I wasn't selected for them... I always went to parks or purpose built tracks for my younger years in karting, and for motorcycle I think I also went to purpose built tracks. I remember going on offroad tracks and circuits too for motorcycle racing during my teenage years, so there's that I guess. When it comes to my driving style, I really like taking advantage of exiting the apex to overtake and I am more of a technical driver, one who's adept at controlling the car as most Athearan drivers are... So a track with a lot of turns. But not too tight though, I am surprisingly not as good in tighter than usual tracks... Even though I have raced on tight circuits before."

Q6: Have you ever raced in Vilita before - or even been to Vilita before? What are you looking forward to the most?
"Oh goodness, well, first of all I've never raced in Vilita before. Well, I am one of the newer drivers so it isn't really supposed to be shocking in my opinion. Second of all I have never been to Vilita, thing is... I've actually never left Atheara so this is also my first time experiencing travelling abroad, y'know. Seeing new people, nations, cultures, all of that. I am a bit scared due to my lack of experience and this being the first time I am doing this, but I am looking forward to it. But I am also looking forward to the racing culture of the other nations... Everyone can always have those tiny differences, especially when it comes to racing. So I'm excited to figure out how racing is different in each nation we'll be racing in."

Q7: Do you think the organizers were crazy to schedule this race and a Vilita National Team game on the same weekend?
"Vilita National Team game? Wait are we talking about football or another sport? I don't keep track of it myself, but either way that does sound quite crazy. Scheduling between two events on the same weekend could cause disruptions, but I'm not too sure. There have been a lot of similar wacky scheduling in Atheara, such as when... I think the Harindar Grand Prix was hosted at the same time along the Harindar derby football matches during the older years of Athearan football. The only reason I know this tidbit is because four drivers had betted on those match and they all lost money, which was a lot of money I'll say and it affected their performance for the entire season... Not a bright one for either sport."

Q8: What other track are you looking forward to competing at most this season?
"When it comes to any other track, I'm usually just normal as I always have thought to myself, "It's just another race" and I leave it at that... But in all honesty, I'm excited for my home race. Kallen is a beautiful city, uhm, a great night life and well structured city... Everything about it is beautiful and it was the city I grew up in. Though, to be fair I suppose everyone else is excited about their home race, I mean who wouldn't? Racing at the opportunity to make a name for yourself in your home nation in front of your people... A great opportunity yeah. And if we're speaking about any other race that isn't our home race for the season... Maybe Kimi Suomi's Kimi Circuit? I dunno, every track for the series is all interesting I'd say."

Q9: What is your favorite food?
"My favourite food hmm? Well, if we're talking about food then I'd say any cooked dish with fish. Don't mind the unintentional pun, I say that because my mom loves fish and her self made recipe really got me into eating seafood in general. So yeah, fish and seafood is my favorite food... Also if you want to win me over make sure you add extra salt, I like the taste of it."

Q10: Tell us one fun fact about yourself!
"I am addicted to coffee. At any chance I can I'll gulp myself a cup of it, usually cold coffee, and hard tasting ones to be exact. But the team will be limiting my dosage of it because, you know, it would be bad if I got on a caffeine high during a race or something or at any moment. So yeah."

AvexRacing OWARS Team Lisander, Lisander for short, is the squad representing the Principality in this Season NSGP. The leading sponsorship comes from AvexRacing, a "racing shop" doubling as a racing team, while the race operations are in the hands of Camden Motorsport, the arm of Camden Automobile that once ran a WGPC team. The team itself lead by Filipe Sagnier, former technical director of Team Azhaar Pro Racing, Lisander-based outfit in the now defunct IOWCC. The crew is composed mostly by Camden employees, as well as the driver. Meline Agrakian is the currently #1 driver in Camden roster, so she was chosen to participate.

MELINÉ AGRAKIAN

Meliné Agrakian is a 28 years old female driver contracted by Camden Motorsport. She's one of the faces of the company, but didn't had the opportunity of racing in WGPC when Camden took over Bitten Heroes, because the team had to assume contracts and signups made by BH in the previous season by that time. She already had some opportunities to drive WGPC and WGP2 cars, but only as testing or Being generously paid to never leave the pegasus brand, she kept ignoring the offers from Juliano Lemos, Andrea Lanza and even her personal friend Carolina Lasseps, all of them linked to Motorsport Lisander, the company behind Bitten Heroes team, that's also responsible for running local formulae. Anyways, the search for an international seat is a thing that seems to bother her at least a little. She was confirmed as the driver for Team Lisander in IBA World Cup of Motorsport, past season, but the series folded even before starting.

Despite not being able to get a lot of experience internationally due to hr contracts, she's very successful in the national motorsports, being 2 time champion of Lisanderian F3/WGP3 series and having participated of hundreds of racing, formally organized or in the underground scenario of "barely legal" street races. She has a one-third stake in a racing team called KLM Racing, for which she runs one-off competitions occasionally, with her friend Kevin Venn and her longtime boyfriend, Marian Weiss. She also owns a Camden Automobile store and a Kart Park and in her hometown of Rista, a city in southern Lisander, middle of the way between Soria and Despina.

Her style of driving is focused more on Technique than Pure Speed, yet, she likes to push the car as possible as she can, being very audacious in the kerbs. She's not very worried about reliability, after all, being a contracted driver means that most of her career was driving cars she wouldn't have the worry of paying for the repairs.

THE CAR
As an One-Make Series, providing the same spec for everyone, in order to emphasize the focus on the driver ability itself, NSGP V only have one car model. The car doesn't come with cutting-edge technology, so Camden isn't investing a lot of money on this, apart the replacement parts and fine-tuning the engines more to fit better Agrakian's driving style.

Indori Volcanasaur is a mystery on the racing scene. Born at a remote Tropicorp funded research station near a lava field, Volcanasaur learned how to drive by piloting a 4-wheeler around dangerous gaseous vents and outrunning lavaflows. Volcanasaur was spotted by a representative from Tropicorp Racing Supply who was scouting the lava field for additives for a next generation racing tire concept and quickly grew impressed by the youngsters talents behind the wheel. Vocanasaur left the remote research base for the first time in their life to return to Tropicoast in preparation for the OWARS NSGP Season V.

HRH Prince Bismillah bin Kudarat bin Hakeem al-Untas, colloquially known simply as Prince Bismillah, is an Oontaznik racing driver and politician who is currently serving as the First Deputy Minister of the Sultanate of Oontaz and the Minister for Sports, Culture, and the Youth. He is the second son of the current Sultan of Oontaz, HRH Sultan Kudarat bin Hakeem bin Abdullah. HRH Prince Bismillah is a devoted follower of motorsports and is also an accomplished racing driver in his own right; he has driven for his own Oonaftco Oontaz CGPRA Team in the Coalition Grand Prix Racing Association, the Oonaftco Oontaz AOGP Team in the Atlantian Oceania Competitive Auto Racing Grand Prix Series (AOGP), and occasionally as an open charter driver affiliated with the Oonaftco Oontaz NSSCRA Team. Prince Bismillah had been considering a retirement from full-time racing but after seeing the return of the NSGP OWARS, the Prince decided that there was enough time left in him to take part in one more season of open wheel racing.

Q1: What are your team’s expectations for this season?
If I’m being completely honest, the whole purpose of the Oonaftco Oontaz NSGP OWARS Team is to gather as much data as possible with regards to this particular specification of open wheeler racing. I see this series as one where I can enter drivers from my academy to give them a time and place in which they can develop their skills and racecraft. However, before I do that, I wanted to test it out for myself first, see if it’s safe enough to take part in.

Q2: What have you and your team done to prepare for this season?
We have a car and we have strategies. It doesn’t get much simpler than that.

Q3: Where did you race prior to joining OWARS?
I’ve raced in the Coalition Grand Prix Racing Association, AOGP in Atlantian Oceania, and I’ve also had a handful of open charter entries in NSSCRA.

Q4: Looking at the entry list, who do you foresee as your biggest rival this season?
At first glance, I would say that my fellow AO drivers could be my rivals in the strictest definition of the term. Season, Volcanasaur, Ruusuvuori, they all could be my rivals. I also think Adriana Ela Kowalski Lillian could prove to be a challenge. I believe she also has experience in WGP2 or NSSCRA.

Q5: Have you ever driven on a street course before? What course type fits your driving style the best?
I’ve driven in a street course before. In fact, I think I’ve been to this exact street course before, but in AOGP. I can’t remember if I did well there or not though. But I think I prefer actual tracks to street circuits. The walls make me feel a little squeezed in, claustrophobic even.

Q6: Have you ever raced in Vilita before - or even been to Vilita before? What are you looking forward to the most?
Yes, I have raced in Vilita before, and the thing I look forward to the most here is the race itself. I hate to admit it but I’m not particularly keen on sightseeing in the middle of business. And for me, racing is business, so you can guess where I’m trying to go with that.

Q7: Do you think the organizers were crazy to schedule this race and a Vilita National Team game on the same weekend?
The Vilitans might think it’s crazy. Other people might think it’s crazy, but I don’t. Oontaz isn’t playing Vilita on that day, are they? We’re not in the World Cup qualifiers so I’m not really bothered. I think we’re playing a friendly against Copper Cuprum, but that’s a game that I’ve already seen dozens of times so I’m sure I’m not missing out on anything at all.

Q8: What other track are you looking forward to competing at most this season?
Probably my home track. I’m not familiar with the other tracks to make an informed decision otherwise.

Q9: What is your favorite food?
Anything that is halal. I am particularly fond of fried boneless milkfish belly though, so if anyone knows a place that serves good fried milkfish then feel free to inform me.

Q10: Tell us one fun fact about yourself!
I am a prince of the Sultanate of Oontaz. I am second in line to the throne, and I am also a motorhead. I don’t think you see too many princes and other members of royalty taking part in motorsports these days so I think I am part of a particularly rare breed of royal.

The wing simply came off, as if it were made of styrofoam. The car ran over it, and it crumbled like it was really made of Styrofoam. After the scare, Meline Agrakian brought the car in shambles, for repairs.

When the mechanics lifted the car and saw the extent of the problem, their expressions were not good at all.

"Boss, we'll do our best. But I don't know if we can get it on the track for one more lap before the end of the session", said one of the mechanics to the team boss, Filipe Sagnier, who looked on with a worried expression.

Hearing those words irritated Meline deeply. She simply turned her back on the car and walked away, pulling the team manager by the arm.

"Sagnier, I am disappointed. Is this the best Camden has for me after eight years? I've been working hard here since I was 19 years old, and they can't even get me a spot in WGP2? On my first lap on the damn new circuit, in the damn new car, in the damn new series, my front wing falls off, like a penultimate regulation F4? "

"Meline, be patient. That is the only seat we had at the moment. And not just for Camden, but for all concerned. Even Bitten Heroes, with all the support from MSL, can't put a team in the WGPC by itself, you know that well."

"Yes, but did you need to send the cheesiest team of mechanics you had? I have no complaints from you, Filipe. All those years with Carolina have given you all the insights you need to be as good a team manager as she is."

Meline was talking about Carolina Lasseps, crew chief of the Eminent/Bitten Heroes WGPC outfit, her longtime friend, who had "defected" to Motorsport Lisander, the company that handles the lower formulae in the principality. She knew that Sagnier was proud to have worked with Lasseps, and followed the same primer. So she did her best to encourage him, even if, as his wife's successor, he was not up to her level. He was a "newcomer" in the top position, and although not one of the best, he was worthy of sympathy for doing exactly as his previous boss had taught him. You could tell by his words that she did not, however, feel the same sympathy for the team of mechanics. Those were not her long-time acquaintances, who understood her instructions and her requests. "Adjust that wing a little bit.... A little more aerodynamic pressure there... The air resistance is making that thing shake... Decrease the height of that flap..." Those men did not really understand his requests, which ended up costing her the first of her laps in the qualifier, and maybe the entire qualifier.

"I'll check with the factory. By the way, why don't you go and answer that Q&A that came from the OWARS website? They're adding the answers to each driver profile. I apologize to say, but your one is quite empty. I'll make sure they finish the car before the end of the session. Even if I had to put my hands in the car too."

"Good. I'll do this then" - she nodded and picked a tablet in the desk. Opening the screen, she allowed her fingers and her eyes to wander a little through the icons, before opening the Questionnaire in her mailbox:

Q1: What are your teams expectations for this season?
The title. Is there another expectation for any other driver? We're always driving for winning races and titles. We do our best for the results, even if the most important is the development day by day.

Q2: What have you and your team done to prepare for this season?
Well, that's hard to say, because we're a little bit of an impromptu team. I've worked together with some of them in other series. For my part, I keep training daily, both on the Gym, to keep myself fit, and on the Sim, to be more knowledgeable of the tracks. I also changed the colour of my hair a little, since keeping the reddish brown colour would make me look like Anneliese Devereux. I decided to make myself more red than her.

Q3: Where did you race prior to joining OWARS?
I'm a 2-time Lisander F3 Champion, and I raced for Camden Motorsport in many categories, from open-wheelers to Endurance, since I was 19 years old. I've some opportunities to test WGPC and WGP2 models, but it was all in private tests.

Q4: Looking at the entry list, who do you foresee as your biggest rival this season?
I must admit that I didn't looked at the list that much carefully. I think I'll have to have an eye in everyone. By now, Khalid Musa have the best time in the qualifiers. So he's the one I need to topple at the moment.

Yes. I've plenty of experience racing in real streets, both organized and underground. Needless to say, despite described like this, (most of) Lisander so called "underground street racing" is nor clandestine neither carried out in breach of the law.

Q6: Have you ever raced in Vilita before - or even been to Vilita before? What are you looking forward to the most?
I've been here as a Test Driver for Camden WGPC team. However, that time I wasn't able to enter the car. I just was here to be around, looking at the car. I don't think that anyone even caught me in a photo.

Q7: Do you think the organizers were crazy to schedule this race and a Vilita National Team game on the same weekend?
If the Vilitan motorsports fans are like the Lisanderian motorsports fans, that would be hardly a problem. Once I was invited for a Kart event in a shopping center parking lot in Soria, it was the same afternoon of a Rugby World Cup semifinal between Lisander and other nation years ago. The shopping itself was quite empty, but at least 2000 fans of motorsport were there. I mean, the motorsports fanbase is usually very loyal. And people can even follow the game on TV or streaming or whatever.

Well, driving at home has charm, but I'm anxious to be around in every circuit.

My mother family has a historial of postaxial polydactyly on feet, and when I was a kid, I thought I was ugly because I only had five toes, while mom, my aunts and some cousins (the cuter ones), had six in each foot. One time I tried to make extra toes with clay and glued it on my feet.

"Good. Not too detailed neither too basic." - She thought, finishing the quiz and leaving the tablet back in the table. A good time had past. She looked at the clock, and walked through the pit box again.

"So, we have nine minutes left. Will I be able to do at least one lap?"

"Surely, just doing a final check. You can enter the car." Sagnier said, and he was laying in the ground looking carefully at each milimeter of the repaired car. There were a lot of parts scattered, but they were able to save the car for at least one more practice lap.

She wore her balaclava and helmet and entered the car. Soon, she was on the track, with little time to prove herself. She prayed that the problem of the previous lap would not be repeated. If it did, she would be screwed, because the problem would not be with the mechanics, let alone the car. It would be solely and exclusively her fault.

"I need to give it my all, but as carefully as possible." - The thought filled her head at every turn. - "...now, easy to the right and left to finish it!"

She completed the lap and the voice of Sagnier just joined her on the car, through the radio:

"Well done, Meline... Well done. Bring it back, right now that's a P2. Point five five eight behind Musa."

She sighed in relief. Well, at least the problem wasn't with her.

The OWARS NSGP is a series in which 13 nations submit a driver to fly their flag across a multitude of open-wheel events in order to determine which nation is best in racing gladiatorial combat. The Kimi-Suomen Auto- ja Kilpaliitto (KSAjK for short) decided to use this event as an opportunity to try and showcase potential future stars for a sport that is gaining in popularity in the Frozen Kingdom thanks to exploits in both NSSCRA and WSRC. The first ever NSGPer is 16-year-old domestic karting champion Olavi Vile Ruusuvuori, a young rising star that many here in Kimi-Suomi feel could be a star in AOCAF or AOGP in the near future. Like the other 12 drivers in this field, Ruusuvuori took questions alongside Team Arktinen Team Principal Henri Olsen.

Q1: What are your teams expectations for this season?
HO: Well...I'm not really sure how to answer that. We've never committed this deeply to open-wheel racing before so KSAjK doesn't really have a set goal for us. Of course, we'll try our best to score points where we can and challenge for podiums if possible, but the main concern for us this season is to get OVR up to speed with international competition. I know he's got what it takes to be something so hopefully, we can show that off over the coming weeks.

Q2: What have you and your team done to prepare for this season?
OVR: Well, the team has been put together in a way that should ensure that we are at least competitive no matter what. I've certainly tried my best to get used to the faster machinery so hopefully, I should be more than prepared for this upcoming weekend.

Q3: Where did you race prior to joining OWARS? (If anywhere)
OVR: Karting, mostly, where I've just won the domestic title a few months ago. This will be my first international competition in an open-wheel car so hopefully, I can perform the best I can across the season.

Q4: Looking at the entry list, who do you foresee as your biggest rival this season?
OVR: Both Bismillah Untas and Adriana Ela Kowalski Lillian have previous open-wheel experience while Tisthe Season and Indori Volcanasaur are driving for nations with plenty of international pedigree...so I guess those guys?

Q5: Have you ever driven on a street course before? What course type fits your driving style the best?
OVR: Not really, as karting doesn't really require you to go out into the streets. Some of the karting tracks can be very tight and twisty but I know this place will be a harder challenge then that so hopefully, I can show my stuff and not crash into the wall.

Q6: Have you ever raced in Vilita before - or even been to Vilita before? What are you looking forward to the most?
OVR: I wish! I've always wanted to tackle a track on the Vilaye Cove and now, I'm finally getting a chance to do that and it feels so good! I'm looking forward to just experiencing what a race weekend over here is and what I've missed after all this time.

Q7: Do you think the organizers were crazy to schedule this race and a Vilita National Team game on the same weekend?
HO: Don't ask us, ask the Vilitan public that one.

Q8: What other track are you looking forward to competing at most this season?
OVR: Home, of course! Bringing an open-wheel event to the Kimi Circuit for the very first time is going to be a big deal and you just know the fans will be up for it!

Q9: What is your favorite food?
OVR: Hmm...I guess steak? I always go for that one I think...

Q10: Tell us one fun fact about yourself!
OVR: Uh...I guess uh...I like ice skating when I'm not racing. I just think its a very noble and beautiful artform and I always enjoy gliding down the ice with a smile on my face.

Giovanni Paolo known as "Gio" is heard to be a great racer in the nation even though he haven't competes internationally, his brother Carlo who is a tennis player believes his brother that he can make success in the OWARS and make the whole of his famliy and the nation proud.

I'm pretty sure that WE will win this title but if we didn't we might go for top 3.

Train, Train, Train... I mean it's not hard actually/

I'm haven't won anything yet but I guess OWARS will be my first title for sure.

NSGP of Vilita
Qualifying

There was a bit of a mess up with the paint. When it finally arrived, after the Orinoco Prime delivery driver left it outside the wrong paddock up on the other side of town at a Big Talking Bird ranch and team engineer Ilda Husky had to drive up there herself to get it, it turned out they had ordered the wrong size tins. Not familiar with metric, they didn't realise a 14ml tin was the size of an espresso cup, and felt that ten tins of gargoyle salmon gold would give them enough to paint up the whole car. In the end it didn't even cover the wing mirrors and they had to run down to the local V&Q hardware store to buy their whole stock of own brand Door & Sills Wood Gloss which had the closest match in colour to the tiny hobby tins. By the time they got it all on and brought all their hairdryers from the team hotel to assist with the Vilitan tropical humidity to get the second-hand Batracer dry, they had missed all of practice.

"It's covered in brush marks," complained the team driver, Tinni Kight.

Not only that but a little gust of wind had blown a bit of light debris into the garage and the paint was peppered with the outlines of pine needles and the odd unfortunate gnat that got stuck on landing.

"The decals will cover them," said Ilda. Khalid Musa roared past the Team Delte garage as he tore up the pit-lane for his first qualifying lap. Ilda could see Tinni would need some reassurance. "Once they're on, they dry in five minutes. You'll be out on the track with all the time in the world." Indori Volcanasaur flew past demonstratively. Tinni didn't look especially convinced.

The decals had arrived at lunch time. The team had laid out some great big bath tubs full of water and the Heavy Products, BIA, Team Delte, Tinni, national flag and other adornments were in soak, separating out from their heavy backing paper.

Tisthe Season boomed past the garage.

"Alright," said Ilda, "let's get these stickers on."

Eventually, Tinni Kight roared up the pit-lane herself and made her debut showing on the Alikki-Corra street circuit. The Batracer's brakes failed on the first corner and she did the whole lap screaming. It was enough to place her second on the grid for her debut grand prix. Everyone pretended that everything was alright.

Pre Season Drivers Press Conference - Khalid Musa

What are your teams expectations for this season?
As many of you might know, neither myself nor ReVision don't have any international motorsports experience, so this will be new ground for all involved. However, the Imperial Commonwealth have a really strong history in the NSGP, and we want to finally take that last step and win the whole thing.

What have you and your team done to prepare for this season?
We've had our hands on the Owars Batracer formula car for a while now, so we've been running extensive simulations across a variety of tracks. It's taken some time but I feel I've got a good grip on how this car can attack the track.

Where did you race prior to joining OWARS? (If anywhere)
I might only be 22, but I've done my fair share of junior formula racing back home, and that includes the most recent WGP3 Imperial Commonwealth (OOC note: not yet established), so I know what it's like to rely more on your own skill as a driver than the car.

Looking at the entry list, who do you foresee as your biggest rival this season?
That's a tough one, as I've never really met any of these guys before. But in the spirt of history, Tisthe will definitely be in my sights - I want to be the one that makes up for Eastfield Lodge's past losses against Gary Cook and the Vilitan Cove. Regardless though, I do want to enjoy my time in this championship and I hope everyone else does as well

Have you ever driven on a street course before? What course type fits your driving style the best?
We have a few street circuit races back home, and that includes the Port Lodgertia Street Circuit that we're visiting later this season. But I'm definitely more of a track person though, more predictable tarmac.

Have you ever raced in Vilita before - or even been to Vilita before? What are you looking forward to the most?
No actually, this is a complete first for me, I don't even think I've been to Atlantian Oceania before. I know the country has a strong racing pedigree, and I can't wait to see that in person once the crowds descend onto the track, but I'll admit I haven't done much research into the country, I'm not really a sight-seeing type.

Do you think the organizers were crazy to schedule this race and a Vilita National Team game on the same weekend?
Nah, we can compete with any sport out there for airtime. There will be plenty of racing fans who don't care about football, and they deserve to have something of their own to pay attention to.

What other track are you looking forward to competing at most this season?
Other than back home, I'm really curious to what the Valentine Z race will be like. I've heard lots about them but I want to see for myself what it's like.

What is your favorite food?
Bit of a guilty pleasure given I'm supposed to be an athlete, but a proper heavy chicken curry and flatbread. Well, either that, or a deep dish pizza.

Tell us one fun fact about yourself!
A fun fact? Err... hmm... I've once had to drop out of a race because I was too high from a strange fuel leak to actually drive the car. Properly light-headed with a stonking headache for days afterwards. Horrible at the time but quite funny looking back on it.

After the champagne spraying and before the individual press conferences, Press Officer Ghinnera Chattquiet apologised to everyone for what happened on the podium, explaining that they were exploring an inner ear infection from Tinni's recent swim at Tropicorp Beach and were quite certain is was not intended to disrespect the competition, the winners or audience when she sat down giggling on her third-place plinth. Almost certainly it was a touch of vertigo mixed with a nervous embarrassment about being up so high.

To tell the truth everyone at Team Delte was a little giddy after Tinni managed to steer her secondhand Airfix Dallarma Batracer to a podium finish at the first attempt, considering the glue was still drying on the collector's item kit car they had bought in Taxhavn a couple of weeks before testing. Though it arrived in it's original box, frustratingly the assembly instructions had been missing and Chief Engineer Ilda Husky had done a pretty impressive job of putting the thing together from nothing.

"You've done a fine job, Ilda," said Team Manager Mosden Eckford, back at the garage in the constructor's paddock, "although maybe we should get in a stripper and redo the paintwork, there's no denying it has run a bit."

"I'm pretty certain the linear differential impellers are on upside down," said Tinni, "and maybe back to front as well. And I think those are the wrong-sized oscillating choppers too. But otherwise, she's good for the sprint."

"Oscillating choppers?" wondered Ilda and Mosden.

"Or whatever those things down there are called. Look, under my seat there."

"Well," said Ilda, only mildly irritated by praise dampened with a range of qualifications, "I'll want to strip the whole thing down again after the sprint, and I think we need to bring in an expert from the modelling community. I know this is a different scale and they probably don't work in 1:1 very often, but some of the parts wouldn't fit anywhere."

"Err," said Mosden, nervously, "what did you do with them?"

"Oh don't worry, I've put them back in the box for later."

They all looked at the quietly cooling Batracer, hand painted in gold and white wood gloss and ticking gently as it luxuriated in its impressive first race result, and wondered what was missing. Tinni swallowed audibly. There was less than seventy-two hours until the sprint, and she for one would've loved to get all the extra bits glued in their rightful places.

"Can we get someone in like now, maybe?" she said to Mosden.

"Eddie Scaléxtri would love to get involved," confirmed Ilda.

Mosden Eckford bustled off to the Team Manager's Office to put in a call to the Oswark-upon-Delte Slot Racing Enthusiast's Society, to see if he could get the legendary Eddie 'Scaléxtri' Sonner on the next flight to the Vilitan Tropics.

NSGP of Vilita, Alikki-Corra Street Course, Vilita :: It was the mildly anticipated internationstatal motorsports debut for the uniquely named Vilita & Turorian auto racing prospect Tisthe Season. It was a low-impact debut with Season being entered as Team Vilita and Turori's driver for the OWARS NSGP Season V which would get started in the Vilitan capital city of Alikki-Corra. Team Vilita and Turori struggled on the tight turns of the Streets of Alikki-Corra, however, with their speedy car not handling the turns quite as well as the car brought by ReVision Racing for Team Eastfield Lodge and their driver Khalid Musa. The Eastfield Lodger led the early practice sessions and took pole position earning a 2 point bonus to take the early championship lead. Season and Team Vilita and Turori would qualify third and with their starting position would look to get a podium finish out of their first race together.

During the Feature race in Alikki-Corra, however, Season quickly lost pace with the leaders and briefly lost the third position to Atheara's Nathanial Van de Soubre who had an excellent start after lining up 5th on the Grid. Thought the Athearan driver would make a mistake soon after, Season could only hang on to the top 3 for a few more laps before Prince Bismillah of the Sultanate of Oontaz had driven up through the pack moving into the top 3 and knocking Season out of the podium places. Bismillah Untas would eventually take the lead - denying Season even the honor of leading a lap at their home track during the pitstop sequence. After a brief battle for third with Tinni Kight, Season had to lay off the challenge as some of Kight's paint was dripping off onto the Vilita and Turorian driver's visor making it difficult for the Rookie to see. Season decided to play it safe and collect the car home across the line in 4th place behind Khalid Musa, Prince Bismillah and the Deltic Waters driver Kight who rounded out the podium. After finishing 4th in the Feature, Tisthe Season will line up in the 5th position for the Sprint Race as they look to claim their first podium finish before the circuit leaves Vilita.

VILITA NSGP (Final Lap)
It was the second final lap of the NSGP and things were still in a tense situation. Nathaniel Van De Soubre was currently fighting it up against Olavi Vile Ruusuvuori as they cross the finish line to enter the final lap of the Vilita NSGP. Taking the turn, Nathaniel did his best to try and take advantage of exiting the apex with the car, but it felt different. It wasn't an AGRC car and they actually barely tested the specs of the car, meaning Atheara had gone into the race half blind due to not knowing how the car operated. But still, De Soubre is trying his best to take everything out of the car for maximum performance. But the difference here being was that Nathaniel actually felt comfortable with the car, even if driving it felt different.

As De Soubre made a turn, entering the straight and turn before the esses of Alikki-Corra, he and Ruusuvuori were side by side and as they entered the esses, turn by turn both kept a steady hand of the car as they made the exit rather smoothly. De Soubre decides to push it further and goes ahead of the domestic karting champion right before part that breaks the straight. Taking advantage of this even further and considering this was the last lap, De Soubre continues to extort the maximum capacity of the vehicle, putting his technical ability to the test through some of the last parts of the winding track. And as De Soubre made his final turn on the track, his car crosses the finish line as he finishes his first international race as he takes a breather.

5th place in his first race, that wasn't really too bad wasn't it? His mind disagrees with him since he started at Post 4, but on the radio, his engineer doesn't think of it that way. "Nice job Nath, Post 5. Post 5. Don't care too much about the early collision, you still did well mate." Nathaniel nodded as he checked his car. Everything seemed to be fine, there was nothing too damaging and the car seems to be in good shape. "Yeah yeah, I'll be heading back now. Forbered stedet for meg når jeg har bosatt meg, vil du?" Nathaniel asked on the radio. The reply was almost immediate. "Ok, jeg ber teamet gjøre det klart." Oh goodness, Nathaniel Van De Soubre was in for some questions later in his post race interview.

ALIKKI-CORRA SPRINT (After)
Nathaniel Van De Soubre was quite tired. That much was true after having to fight for his life against Giovanni Paolo just to get into the points for the Alikki-Corra Sprint. And what's worse is that he was barely behind Meline Agrakian and he could have done some overtaking several times, but he missed the opporunities. But, there isn't much he can do to change what has happened, as he'll have to deal with it. Sitting down somewhere, he opened up social media, wondering on what many of the fans were commenting. Scrolling around, making a post, and taking a drink as he got one from... Somewhere, a vending machine maybe. There were a lot of mistakes he made today that shouldn't have happened. How did they happen anyway?

"Nath, are you here?" De Soubre heard the voice of his engineer. Taking another sip of the drink he held in his hand, then firmly placing it on a nearby table. Clearing his throat, he responded to the call. "I'm here, in the back room!" Hearing the footsteps coming, De Soubre took a few deep breaths. As the door opens, he can see his engineer there with a smile. Harris Donvouy has been a long time associate with De Soubre's family and he's a racing engineer himself. So Nathaniel himself chose him to be his radio engineer, because that sense of familiarity often helped him. "Look kid, you did well. You'll get the shine you want soon, just trust yourself." Was what Donvouy said, but De Soubre shook his head. Harris looked at the driver in a lot of worry.

"Hva er galt Nath? Er du bekymret for feilene du har gjort?" The engineer asked. All that he got for a reply was a simple nod from De Soubre, as the driver gives his phone. It showed several clips of the mistakes he did, including a completely unnecessary collision against Tisthe Season at the start of the race, another reckless dive to try and overtake against Indori Volcanasaur, among other things. Although Nathaniel did well enough, the mistakes he made costed him what could potentially be a better position. Harris sat next to the young driver, patting his back. "Look, we all make mistakes. That includes you too, plus, you're one of the less experienced drivers on this grid. Don't beat yourself too much, alright?" De Soubre replied with a sigh and a nod.

"Good. Come on now, you still have an interview to do." Donvouy says as he and De Soubre got up and left the back room.

When Team Arktinen put their names forward to become a part of the revival of the NSGP OWARS, no one had any real expectations at all. The only real experience Kimi-Suomi had in any form of open-wheel motorsport was a cameo season by Aurélia Karvonen in the AOGP and that was it. But this competition was deemed useful for the sake of getting some key international experience to Olavi Vile Ruusuvuori, a driver who hasn't made it clear which discipline (NSSCRA/WGPC/WSRC) his future lies and a driver many in the higher-ups of the KSAjK consider a future star of Kimi-Suomen Motorsports in general. For OVR, the aim was simple: develop and see how you go, with no real pressure to try and shock the world...but how would that go?

As it turned out, the opening weekend on the streets of Alikki-Corra, Vilita would make everyone at home say "ei paha ollenkaan" Team Arktinen always try to get the setup as best as they can before every session and Qualifying in P6 in your first session wasn't too bad at all. Sure, OVR was 1.8 seconds off the pace of Khalid Musa (who blitzed everyone by nearly a second) and 8-tenths down on Tinni Kight in 2nd, but it was a start and P6 certainly was better than nothing.

The NSGP of Vilita would act as the Feature Race of the weekend and OVR would end up being a bit of a consistent driver, getting overtaken by Bismillah Untas but beating Meline Agrakian on the track to finish where he started in P6 and get 3 points on the board. Musa finished a minute ahead in a dominant performance with Untas and Tinni Kight rounding out the podium, but Team Arktinen were simply happy to get points on the board after the first attempt and everyone was having fun.

The OWARS Streets of Alikki-Corra Sprint would see the Top 8 reversed, meaning OVR started from P3 behind only the OWARS Test Driver and Agrakian. This race was a bit more chaotic as a poor start by OVR would mean most of the race spent near P4 and that was where many felt he was going to finish...until Musa binned it on the 2nd to last lap and the podium was handed to the young Finn. Tisthe Season ended up winning with Untas in 2nd, but OVR would make it home in 3rd to the delight of Team Arktinen - allowing for a first-ever podium celebration and 4 more points in the standings. Kimi-Suomi now finds themselves in P4 overall on 7 points and while there is still a long way to go, this start to our NSGP journey certainly wasn't too bad at all. Onwards to Oontaz!

OWARS Streets of Alikki-Corra Sprint

If Tinni and the Eckford Racing Team had got a bit of vertigo reaching the heady heights of a podium at their first Grand Prix, they certainly crashed back to earth a few hours later when the Sprint event came around. For a start, it came round a lot sooner than expected. And then there was Tisthe Season. In the GP, it was as if they were chasing Tinni all round Alikki-Cora like some demented speed cop in a shiny teal-and-orange Dallama Batracer patrol car - and that suited Tinni just fine, encouraging her home to a wholly unexpected third place finish with Season right up her tail pipe. The local driver was brazenly aggressive in the closing laps but just couldn't get past the secondhand Airfix kit car as small parts of it flew off under speed and provided enough distraction to keep the Vilitan at bay. When the Sprint was called just a few hours later, chief engineer Ilda Husky had barely glued Tinni's racer back together again. It didn't matter - eventual sprint winner Tisthe Season took a lead over Tinni on the first lap and from the comfort of being in front proceeded to cut off the space at each turn and before the lap was out had railroaded her out of the race.

It was the kind of position the team had really been expecting to occupy from the get go - DNF; lap 1.

"Wait," said Ilda, "the Eckford Racing Team?"

"What's that now?" wondered Ghinnera Chattquiet, the press officer.

"You said 'the Eckford Racing Team' back there, when you were reading out the Sprint report."

"Did I?" said Ghinnera, airily.

"You know you did," said Ilda, "I thought we were Team Delte?"

"Well that's more of an OWARS thing," said Mosden Eckford, "but as I'm sort of bankrolling the enterprise, I thought - you know - 'the Eckford Racing Team' has a nice ring to it."

"I thought the Delte River Trust was bankrolling," said Eddie Scaléxtri, the team's gluesmith, "through its offshore development fund?"

"Oh look everyone," said Mosden, moderately irritated, "Eddie's here! Anyway, Ilda, I was going to mention it when I got the chance. I've decided we'll call the Batracer 'the Husky'... how does that sound to you?"

Ilda Husky, chief engineer, was clearly delighted.

Just then a dumper truck arrived at the team garage with Tinni riding along, and the circuit marshall emptied the remains of the Husky into a pile on the floor. It was an undignified end to racing the streets of Alikki-Cora.

"We're going to need a lot of sellotape," said Eddie Scaléxtri.

OWARS Streets of Alikki-Corra Sprint, Alikki-Corra Street Course, Vilita :: Starting from the 5th position, there wasn't a whole lot of optimism in the Vilita and Turori Motorsports camp that driver Tisthe Season would be able to take a checkered flag on home soil in their debut NSGP campaign. Eastfielder Khalid Musa had been the class of the field the day before at the NSGP of Vilita feature event while Bismillah Untas and Tinni Kight were right behind with faster cars. Musa had an incredible start to the sprint, jumping from their 8th starting position into the lead by the end of the first lap, further showing just how dominant the Eastfield Lodge entry was. However, once Musa got out in front they were unable to pull away in the same fashion they had been in the previous event. There was perhaps some chatter that Musa had picked up a little damage when fighting past 7 cars in the opening lap of the race but it didnt matter much to Tisthe Season and the Vilita and Turori Motorsports team who had first to worry about getting their driver back into the podium places.

Over the next two laps, Season was able to pick off Nathaniel Van De Soubre and Olavi Vile Ruusuvuori to move into second place and had a gap of 3.5 seconds behind them and Khalid Musa. As the barometric pressure changed and the temperature dropped, the handling on Musa's car seemed to go away. With each lap, Season was getting closer, finally setting up to overtake Musa on Lap 18. From there it was just a matter of holding on until Lap 26. As the rain started to fall it didn't matter much for Tisthe Season who nursed the Team Vilita and Turori Motorsports machine back home to the checkered flag for their first career victory and the chance to celebrate that win with friends and family before the OWARS circuit heads out of the Vilitan Cove and on to the Sultante of Oontaz
