You see when two parties want only their views taught it’s time to go back in time and make sure George Washington’s opinions on political parties are enforced.

A couple of my history teachers liked mentioning such comments. Did that make them lefties?

If the Founders wanted Washington's opinions on political parties enforced, they shouldn't have founded a system that enforces the creation of exactly two political parties.

No.

But sometimes I do think Washington was right about political parties. But I know it was probably not possible.

Washington's opposition to political parties was farcical. While he spoke against factionalism, Washington was a staunch Federalist in practice, and stacked the government with strongly Federalist officers. So much so that Thomas Jefferson resigned his position as secretary of state because he constantly clashed with the other members of the cabinet. And even John Adams, the first technically Federalist president, clashed with Hamilton and Pickering because he found their views too extreme.

Even after leaving office Washington used his influence to push Federalists into positions of power, famously threatening to resign as commander of the army unless he was allowed to appoint strong Federalist to high rank within the army.

On CRT; you have to feel kind of sorry the the people fighting it. It’s hard for them to see children learning what their parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, etc. did….

I don’t listen to Don Jr. anyway but what made him say that?

Also I thought CRT was just to show the history of certain policies like slavery, segregation etc affected people in the past and how it affects people today.

The Ministry of Truth is rectifying everything that happened before Reagan was elected and ended all things doubleplusungood (besides George Soros). Please keep malreports away from the Outer Party in the meantime.

You guys do it too, especially on Trump, everyday you guys make the same arguments, Trump guilty of everything and anything, Trump bad, Trump no good and Trump evil. CRT does not teach kids America is bad, which it does. No matter what the issues are, you guys do it too.

So how is CRT teaching kids that America is bad?

That….makes no sense.

Washington talked a lot about how political parties were bad. But the system the Founders created and Washington presided over requires, through its basic mechanisms, factions to sort into exactly two opposing big-tent parties. That's why the "parties are bad, mmkay?" thing didn't even survive Washington, and we've always, except for a couple of brief transitional periods, had exactly two relevant political parties. It hasn't always been the Democrats and the Republicans, and those names haven't always meant the same thing, but it's always been two.

You have to admit; they are really talented at mental gymnastics.

Correct. However, the Democrat leadership are inconsistently competent system politicians. A significant number of Republicans in post or aspiring to be elected are so detached from reality that the only institution they should be entering is one with padded cells.

It is the difference between normal bullshit political twisting of the truth to appeal to demographics and win support for a weak platform vs being utterly deranged.
Furthermore, I consider that feminism must be destroyed.
