Captain Jonathan Took, Nicholas Checov, Sally Lewis, Lilly Wilkins, Jackson Evans, and Cayde Zachariah exit the Waiting room in their space suites (imagine the Ares suits from the Martian) and enter Elessar I. Months of training have led to this moment, and Captain Took Is wracked with anxiety, he's responsible for his five crewmembers and the success of the mission. As they sit in the cockpit he notices the quirks of his crew, a stoic Checov allows some comfort from Wilkins the Doctor to combat his nerves, the Exo Pilot Cayde doesn't have to worry about piloting in this stage and spends the countdown cracking jokes and bad puns to Sally Lewis' amusement and Jackson Evans' dismay. Captain Took smiled he was in good hands and they were in good hands, his thoughts were interrupted by Cayde nudging him.
