The winding corridors and shadows of the Brotherhood laid relatively quiet. In his office, the Night Father sat with his feet kicked up on his desk, a book in his lap. Venico's eyes were closed a deep snore emanated from the back of his throat as whatever material he had been into, clearly had not fully captured his attention. With a sudden boom though, his door flew open and in front of him stood his Imp of a Taskmaster, Thorn. In a whir, papers flew, candle's flames flickered, and Venico's boots slammed against the floor as he awoke to the ruckus. "By the Oversee-"

"I DID IT! I did a sleeper!" An incredulous statement coming from the least subtle Assassin since Ur'Tek the Wall Breaker. Quirking an eyebrow while trying to blink the sleep from his eyes, Venico gave Thorn his best questioning look. "Well it's not like how you normally do a sleeper hit."

"So you didn't come up with an elaborate identity?"

"No."

"A flimsy pretense of being there?"

"No."

"You at least didn't have Thorn pinned on your vest still?"

"Uhhhh forgot about that boss. But follow me!" Whirling, the Taskmaster moved out into the halls. Begrudgingly, Venico followed after gathering up a bag and a drink. He'd need it today.

Bouncing along the streets, Thorn continued babbling while Venico rubbed his brow. "So you remember that place you put the bounty on during Sinking Ship?"

"No I don't, Thorn."

"Oh. Well, you gave me extra coin for hitting it. Busted open the back door and pillaged it. Got your bounty. Pretty cool all around. Turns out, they never fixed it! I've been hanging out there for like six months! In fact, if you come along we should be able to throw out everyone and hang a Malice sign from the front!"

Venico blinked a few times as they approached the back door of North Europeia. Door handle still busted. Graffiti along the walls. Scrawls in the stonework of "Thrn wuz her". With just the two of them, they could throw out the old occupants and maybe clean this place up.

"You're an idiot Thorn, but that's why I love you"

Through sheer lack of determination of never moving a puppet from a tag out, Thorn gathered enough influence that with a singular endo from a "clean" that I brought in, he was able to take delegacy and clear out the region for a refound the next update. Even if it's not as subtle as previous assassins like Gladio, this type of "stealth" refound is exactly where Malice's roots lay. We are always in the shadows and we will strike when we fancy.

Because of his ingenuity and determination on this, Thorn will be the sole recipient of the Operation Opened Door playing card.

Depicted: Malice losing their heads as they take Equestria

"Mount up!"

The room of assassins looked up at the Night Father with questions in their eyes. "We're not going in stealthy like Venico? Isn't that like your thing?"

His worn face looked back at them. "Still stealthy just ya know, on horseback."

The forces set out along the cobbled roads, eventually veering off into the woods to avoid any heavy traffic. Venico struggled to force a pumpkin over his head. Valtarre led them to Equestria's edge and bade them all move within. Silent as the night, the mounted forces pushed into the town and strategically placed themselves throughout the town. The Night Father dressed in his darkest purples assumed position in the town square with squash squarely on his shoulders surrounding his head.

"I have come for two things! Revelry in this town suitable for this season..." He drew out a long pause and pointed ominously out to the town's folk. "And your heeeeeads!"

When two updates have failed to muster combined 100 supporters and our count breaches 160, during the middle of their ongoing wargames to boot, then the operational failure of defenderdom and their friends to forcibly end BoM operations quite apparently continues. They instead turn to the SC to, I believe the phrase is "cope." But endless lies to the diplomats of the world cannot resolve the bare fact that their much-boasted forces have yet again failed to materialize at a strength necessary to remotely threaten our occupation.

Proud of them for ending the 3-nation occupation of Boston though. Facing an enemy you're capable of defeating for once must be nice for them =)

Historic treaty signed between Warzone Asia and the Brotherhood of Malice


Shadowy cloaked figures and warrior-scholars wrapped in fine colorful scarves join hand in hand, forging rare peace through parchment.

After slaving away for hours into the night, and using up many inkwells and sheets of paper in the meantime, esteemed diplomats from the regions of BoM and Warzone Asia have written and signed a monumental treaty ensuring peace between the two entities: The Alhambra-Assassin Accords.

This mutual recognition and prohibition of hostilities between a raider region and a non-raider warzone government is unprecedented, and worthy of celebration. Once again, BoM has proven that all it would take for a founderless, non-raider region to avoid being raided is to Sign a Treaty with them.

By the will of the Overseer, we hope the dragons of Warzone Asia prosper while this document is protected from His Accursed Eye.

Two Weeks of Terror

For the first time in a fortnight, the equine residents of Equestria allow themselves to let their guards down. The fog clears as the occupying cavalry gallops off into the distance, the sounds of their hooves on cobble drifting further and further into the night, until finally...sweet silence. The sun begins to rise after a terrible Halloween night, and they can finally begin to rebuild. Though, it did seem strange that the occupiers would order such a swift retreat at the height of their control...wait, what do you mean the dead are rising?!

Happy Halloween, everyone! We hope you all had as much fun as we did for the last few weeks, as we threw a wild holiday rager in Equestria, where over 180 raiders from all across the world put on their spookiest costumes and rode through the streets! Defender resistance was a step down from their last few performances, once again establishing a strong initial beachhead before losing steam and then turning tail after a few days.

The Security Council sent us a strongly worded letter asking us not to let the party go on too long, but we weren't too keen on overstaying our welcome regardless. In the end, we made sure to leave the delegate Zachtia in the same position where he was at when we arrived: with single-digit endorsements. And in the unusual position of being at the head of a region that is locked despite being liberated by the Security Council.

As always, our parties would be nothing without support from our elite party planning committee that would make even Pinkie Pie jealous! Huge thanks go out to our supporters in The Black Hawks, Lone Wolves United, The Communist Bloc, Osiris, Islamic States, Empire of Great Britain, Lily, and The Appalachian Order for their invaluable assistance and company for the last few weeks.

Oh, and what's a party without some celebrations? For their contributions to the region going back all the way to our revival raid on The Mystical Council, I'm proud to designate Malicious Stars and Bloody Good Riot (Durm) as Senior Assassins! Congratulations on the recognition for a job well done.
