It seems that, with the temporary disablement of the Eternal Paramount Leader, Reactionary and Terroristic forces have begun leaping out of the woodwork to attempt to threaten the glorious Neo-Korean State.

This Wednesday Morning, Sung Alexandriovich, a member of the so-called “True Hardliners” suggested sending support to the Armenian Government.
This treasonous attempt to divert resources crucial for the many conflicts Neo-Korea fights to protect the population was then followed by an even more deranged claim, that being “Maybe lifting some of the restrictions on major State Media.

Luckily, Pyoyter Nakiovich, a heroic member of the current leading triumvirate of the CGC, was able to shoot the man before his claims could poison the minds of loyal servants of Neo-Korea.
We hope similar fates befall all those who would seek to use the Paramount Leader’s temporary lack of presence as an excuse for treason.

However, the federal government of the Aquaria, after regulating with the opinion of the Leftist Union and Solidarity parties, refused the legality and democracy of the referendum. The Aursian government failed to prove the referendum based on the opinion of a majority of people. When talking about a decision that can completely reshape the country, "above 50%" is the definition of the majority that many of us agree with. According to the result of the Aursian referendum on the restoration of the monarchy in 2026, among the 80 million inhabitants, only 20,060,332 citizens participated, or about 25% of the total population, which is far than enough. This showed a serious problem that only a fraction of your total population expressed their point of view, which made your referendum not valid to show the opinion of all the Aursian people. That said, it is completely illegal and undemocratic for President Ariza Inshirah to declare herself to be the new monarch, when 78.7% of your population, which is way more than half, have not actually shown their approval of the sudden decision. By doing this action, President Inshirah set up a dictatorship, acting as a national leader who will rule for life and could not be removed, which already offended the Article V of the Treaty of Aurtumn. According to Article VIII of the Kalisight Treaty Organization (KTO), the objective of the KTO is to contribute to democracy, peace and security, and as such, the ideology of the alliance should focus on fighting those who opposed it. After discussion within our allied countries, the government of the Socialist Federal Republic of the Aquaria, representing the Kalisight Treaty Organization, hereby sends an ultimatum to the government of Aursi, regarding the request for abolition of the monarchy. We demand that President Ariza Inshirah resigns as Aursian monarch within the next 48 hours. The Aursian Government should also promise that the restoration of Monarchy must not be reconsidered. Or else, the Aquaria and all the member countries of the KTO reserve the right to declare a military intervention to revive democracy, freedom, equality and fraternity for the Aursian people. Official Condemnation of Armenia

In response to the war crimes and invasions committed by Armenia The Democratic Republic of Aumbura henceforth condemns the state of Armenia, and labels it an aggressive, oppressive, militaristic autocracy.

The Democratic Republic of Aumbura hereby sanctions Armenia, and enacts a travel ban. Medical supplies are hereby pledged to the countries Armenia has invaded.

Aumbura will open its borders to any and all refugees of the countries Armenia has decided to invade. We urge the international community to do the same, and condemn Armenia's attempt to grow its international power through ruthless warfare.

Sonakion condemns Armenia and ends recognition of the IHC as the primary international Humanitarian Organisation
None other than the Second Supreme Leader himself officially announced Sonakion's position and policy regarding recent Armenian actions in the following speech released to state and foreign press.
"Armenia has finally shown its true colours, claiming to be the leader against imperialism it has instead joined the Imperialists as shown by its aggressive campaign against the Balkans hoping to annex them to forge a Empire and thus breaking the very laws set within the organisation they lead that being the IHC.

Perhaps Armenia revealed itself long ago when it began power grabbing within the IHC and commiting warcrimes in Mudhassia. Whatever the case may be Armenia clearly breaks the same ideals put forward by the International Humanitarian Coalition an organisation dedicated to fighting imperialism worldwide through peaceful means an organisation that Armenia itself helped found and in recent months has reformed after accusations against it were placed by fellow IHC members. Its clear now at any rate that Armenia unto themselves and do not care for rules they themselves set, indeed the new IHC is nothing more than Armenia's puppet and so we do not recognise its jurisdiction nor power.

We will sanction Armenia and Armenian vessels are not welcome within Sonakion waters nor airspace nor land. We ask for the good nations of the IHC to recognise the corruption present in their organisation and thus to oust Armenia out of it and to then take action against it as you should have done long ago. We hope the rest of the world will take similar action so this threat is vanquished and we stand with those who do".

Such a move contradicts the official Sonakion position of neutrality and isolationism in world affairs suggesting to some that the time of readiness is finally coming to an end with Sonakion rebeginning interaction in the political stage once more.

The morning after the heist
Michael's Apartment

Michael woke up alone in his apartment. It wasn't a luxury penthouse or anything, but still, it's a nice place. He turned on the TV, and the morning show began raving about the robbery. As he made himself a cup of coffee, he couldn't help but feel like a failure. He also felt lonely. But his self-pity wallowing was interrupted by his phone ringing.

"Michael, just thought you'd want to know that they're moved up the money transport date to tomorrow." said Charlie over the phone.

"Why would I want to know that?" asked Michael despondently

"So we can rob it tonight? Right?" replied Charlie.

"The heist's off." said Michael.

"Oh, okay." responded Charlie, in a mix of surprise and disappointment before hanging up.

Then, a lightbulb went off in Michael's head, and he lifted his head off the kitchen counter. He quickly sprinted to his room to change, and dashed out the door. The he got on his phone and called Charlie.

"Charlie! Get the crew together, tell 'em to meet me at the bar, and bring everything you have on the new cash transport plans!" he said.

'Yes! The heist's not over yet!" exclaimed Charlie. "Wait, what are you going to do?" asked Charlie.

"Try not to get killed." answered Michael.

Mariana's Garage

Mariana was working on her car, the Charger, when Michael walked in. She just stared at him and went back to working on her car.

"I know you're mad about last night." he started.

"Don't." she interrupted. "Don't try to apologize." she said.

"Oh. Ooookaaaaaay." awkwardly said someone who just walked in.

"Oh, no, no, no. Not that kind of last night, we didn't- we aren't- there was no-" stammered Michael, equally as awkward.

"We're not." said Mariana clearing everything up.

The guy who walked in on their conversation just left. Michael walked over to where Mariana was.

"Look, I know it didn't go perfectly, but we have a second chance. If you can just-" Michael was interrupted.

"I'm done believing in second chances. How do I know this one won't fail?"

"Because my plan all hinges on you." he said "C'mon. Please?" he begged. "Look, if you're not doing it for me, or for you, or for the team, do it for the people who's life savings, their livelihoods, their college funds, their futures, were robbed." he said, in an impassioned plea.

"So that's why you're doing it." she said, realizing Michael's motivation. "You've always been a con man, not a thief. But you felt bad about loosing my money, so you think helping these people get their money back will make you feel better inside somehow?"

"I felt bad about loosing your money because I, I knew how you felt about me." he said.

"Don't kid yourself." she said.

"So, please help me. I promise I'll never ask anything of you ever again." he promised.

Mariana took a deep breath and shook her head. Michael gave his classic smirk.

"Right so, I'll be the first to admit that our little attempt last night was a bit of a fiasco." said Michael.

Mariana just went "Hmph!" while the rest agreed with Michael.

"Charlie here was tracked the banks' money transport plans for tomorrow." he said, motioning to Charlie.

"Oh, me?" asked Charlie. "Well, ummm, ahem. Uh, it looks like us breaking in last night gave them a bit of paranoia. They're changing everything, I mean everything. Right down to who's in charge of moving the cash." said Charlie.

"So we make our move tonight?" asked Jimmy.

"Nope." answered Michael. His four friends were very confused, but he would soon explain. "We'll boost it in transit. Just like The Italian Job." he said.

"Ohhh" said the others collectively. "But how?" asked Hank.

"Well first off we need them to take the route we want" said Michael.

"Leave that to me." said Charlie.

"Next, once we lure them to the right spot, we strike"

"And where would that be?" asked Mariana.

"I was thinking the bridge over the canal." answered Michael.

Michael and Jimmy (dressed as city officials) walked to a group of construction workers, working on a bridge over the dried-up canal.

"Good morning!" greeted Michael.

"Morning. Can I help you gentlemen?' asked the site foreman.

"Yeah, we're from the municipal works department, and we showed up to let you know that they're ordering a pause on the work here." said Michael, in character.

"You see.." Jimmy leaned in. "We got reports of a possible bacteria outbreak at this site, and don't want to risk anyone getting sick." he explained.

"Oh, I see." said the foreman, totally buying it.

"One last thing, the city council thinks all this scaffolding is unsightly, so if you could cover it up with a large sheet or something, you know what I mean right? The higher-ups would appreciate that." added Michael.

"Sure thing, of course." said the foreman, before instructing this crew to cover the scaffolding.

"Bought it hook line and sinker." said Michael, fist-bumping Jimmy.

"I had no idea that would work." said Jimmy.

"If you wear glasses and a suit, and carry a clipboard people, will believe anything you say." said Michael.

A few hours later

With the scaffolding all covered, no one could see under the bridge, and that's exactly what Michael wanted. While Jimmy and Hank were busy doing something directly underneath the bridge's road surface, Michael met up with Charlie who had a plan to divert the convoy to their location.

"Ok, so you know how in The Italian Job they hacked the traffic lights to lead the gold trucks where they wanted?" asked Charlie.

"Uhhh, which version?" asked Michael.

'Whalberg." answered Charlie, while Michael nodded, he pulled up a GPS system he had hacked. "Well, for our heist, I've decided to hack their GPS systems." he said. "For a top-of-the-line armored transport company they have relatively easy to hack GPSs." he said.

"Clever." said Michael. "Next up, I think we'll use their paranoia against them. We'll cause disturbances at the other route options just so they feel safer taking this one." added Michael.

"And that's why you're the boss." praised Charlie.

"Yup" agreed Michael, before walking over to Mariana, who was fixing up their getaway car. "You sure this thing can handle it?" asked Michael.

"You sure you can handle it?" asked Mariana with a smirk.

"And the other one?" asked Michael.

"I'll be just fine." she said.

"All right." said Michael, before leaving to make sure that the other preparations for the heist were ready.

"I'll see you guys at the diner, ok?" he said just before driving off.

"Gentlemen, lady" he said, raising his glass. "A toast to us 5. If all goes to plan, and it will, by this time tomorrow we'll be very rich, and some crooked moneymen are gonna be reeling." he toasted. "Get a good night's rest everyone, tomorrow's a big day" he added.

What a surprise...

Be its recent advance into the Balkans - or its (justified) claims of the Muqaddasi government's barbarity - Armenia has, as of late, been subjected to quite a controversy. These claims, most of which coming from Armenia's allies in the KTO have - to no surprise - been thoroughly dismissed by His Majesty and his advisors...citing both a misinterpretation of the former's words; and a complete lack of understanding when it comes to international law. Such claims - most of which constitute outright slander - are, no doubt, an affront to the Armenian cause, the Armenian identity, and the righteousness of the Christendom. No - there are, nor have there been, any attempts of genocide and/or other human rights violations perpetrated by Armenia. The Armenian state, aided by the Church, is simply restoring the balance of power in Europe...well - for the most part - as the government has shown no desire to advancing past the Balkans in Europe - and past Muqaddasi territory in the Middle East. There are - in fact - rumours that the Armenian government, in order to quell the rumours of a 'Europe-wide' invasion, is to determine a 'neutral zone' - the borders of which have yet to be defined. In the meantime, His Majesty has decided to condemn the constant spread of disinformation - claiming that 'socialist degeneracy' has 'plagued the media with useless rubbish.'

His Majesty has also condemned the Tirana Conference - claiming that is, 'without a doubt', a 'Muslim-dominated plot against Christianity'...and has since, in an attempt to drive Serbia away from the Olpenese influence, claimed ethnic Serbs would receive a 'special position' within the empire were they to cooperate with Armenia.

NAVY READIES FOR ACTION AGAINST ARMENIA

Navy ships in the Mediterranean have been directed to stand ready to oppose Armenian aggression with military force, if necessary.

Mitheldalond has today joined the host of other nations denouncing Armenia for their unprovoked assault on the Balkans. In a speech before the House, the Speaker said "this is unacceptable. Armenia must stop their attacks on the nations of the Balkans and withdrawal to their own borders immediately. Mitheldalond must demand this!" While the government has made no such demands as yet, official condemnation has been universal, and other measures have been implemented to force Armenia into compliance with international law.

Earlier today the Commerce Department announced a sharp increase in tariffs and taxes on all Armenian commerce in Mitheldalond, as well as exorbitant new fees on all Armenian flagged commercial vessels entering the exclusive economic zone. These new fees will apply not only to Armenian ships conducting business in Mitheldalond, but to ships merely passing through as well. Armenian warships have been banned from entering Mitheldalondian territorial waters, save only in cases of great emergency, and the Navy warns that "any warship that violates this ban will be seized and impounded, or sunk outright if they refuse to comply."

The Mitheldalondian Aviation Administration has declared Mitheldalondian airspace closed to all Armenian flights, which will force any transoceanic flights to travel a minimum of 6000 nautical miles without the ability to land or refuel.

The State Department has also issued a statement of support for Charoskania. Armenia has reportedly detained a number of Charoskanian diplomats illegally, and the Department has demanded their immediate release.

Meanwhile, the Navy has announced plans to position batteries of surface-to-air and anti-ship missiles on the island of Crete, which reputedly has yet to be conquered by Armenian forces. Navy brass ordered the Théodwyn light carrier group to move into position to defend the island from invasion if necessary. The Defense Secretary stated "Mitheldalondian forces shall stand with the forces of other nations to form a bulwark against further Armenian aggression."

I wish to announce that the Empire of Greater Nifon will be granting Armenia the most favoured nation status on shale gas to counter effects of sanctions placed on Armenian state by multiple actors.

While I see the Armenian conquest as an unfavourable development, what is done is done. A new order has risen in Balkans and best we can do is to work with it. The current campaigns of sanctions and threatening will only throw the work into bigger disarray and solve nothing at the end except empowering radical communist movements that the Empire of Greater Nifon sees as major threats to its interests.

The Empire of Greater Nifon urges however the Armenian government to abstain from further conquests for the very same reasons.

Lastly I am willing to announce my intention to play the role of the mediator between Armenia and nations currently opposing it. The Empire of Greater Nifon has no interests in that part of the globe important enough for a direct military involvement, but it does not mean that Nifon considers this region irrelevant.

An Olpenese negotiator in standard garb of Lt. Colonel approached the Nifonese Shogun, who was sitting on the floor in front of a small table, sipping tea.

After they have settled in, the negotiations begun. The Olpenese was first to spoke.

"Your Marshallship, I would like to begin now. Would you please explain how Olpen may stop Nifon's support of Armenia?"

"Define stop, please." Kojiro calmly spoke "There is a lot on the table. First of, let me inform you that only cancelling the current gas deal would reflect badly on Nifon as a partner. However, the Empire has granted MFN status only to Armenian gas. Technically I could agree not to give such a status for any other product. Furthermore, I also could guarantee that the Empire will not provide military aid to Armenia or authorise arms sales. I do imagine that Type 2011 in Armenian hands would pose a nightmare for all potential opponents, and a vision of Armenia not having such capabilities would be welcome one. The question is, what is Olpen willing to offer in turn?"

The Nifonese shogun paused, looking at the Neon illuminated skyline of Ishikawa.

"Various Zaibatsu did mention to me about their interest to expand to Olpenese market. If Nifonese cars and computer-related products were let in with most favoured nation status, I would consider such a deal agreeable."

"I suppose that would be agreeable. But, should this deal happen, all support of Armenia must be eliminated. Constitution City can't have it any other way." replied the Ambassador of Olpen.

"Once again, please define support." Kojiro countered "If the agreement passes, the Nifonese government will not provide any military support to Armenia. However, previously established commercial relations, in form I have specified, will be retained, as withdrawing from already signed deals would reflect badly on Nifon."

"I mean eliminate all favored trading to Armenia. That is the only way any agreement will get through." clarified the Ambassador.

"Once again, those were not my original terms and I can not agree on it." Kojiro replied "Doing so would have destroyed Nifonese credibility in the eyes of the world. Surely however, your excellency's government would see reason and realise that Armenia could be far more powerful than what it is now if Nifon was to provide it with aid. Accepting the deal right here and now means that future Armenia will be a far weaker force to contend with than it could be."

"We can not agree to any deal that does not include a complete elimination of any favour to Armenia." came a negative response.

"And why is that?" the Nifonese shogun queried "Surely your excellency's government understand that diplomacy or warfare is not a zero sum game. The victory your excellency may attain in this room may not be absolute, but I urge to remind your excellency what Type 2011 in Ukrainian service did to Lakan carrier group Explorer. Surely stripping Armenia of this kind of capability alone is worth it? Furthermore, as I have said - I can guarantee no future priveiledges. Aremnian economy is not just gas."

"I have already discussed what my figurative leash was with my government. We can not agree to any deal that does not include a complete elimination of favour to Armenia. If you do eliminate favour, then we could come to a deal which is favourable to both parties. The Olpenese market is a billion strong, as your excellency is aware."

In response, Gonswanza offers a hand to Janpian genetic research, wishing to perhaps engage in a joint scientific study, given the rather exotic samples present within Gonswanzan borders and the deep reserves of (human) resources present. Paired to experience in the field, it's a welcome attempt at further diplomacy, which is a bit odd, but not entirely unexpected.

As for the naval summit, Laura Ortiz and Natya met and exchanged ideas and words, while the Gonswanzan navy had demonstrated its prowess, revealing to Janpia the future of warfare through drones. While Laura Ortiz did offer some concern for Hawaii and the US, she also brought up the possibility of sharing plans and other information with Janpia to further increase their power at sea, even if it meant sharing some rather cruel designs like the Z-9 class or the N-Torpedo.

From The Facility, a singular specimen was delivered to Janpia with Haz-Mat teams escorting the creature along. What exactly it is, is unknown, but in turn Janpian researchers were also promised free reign with prisoners being shipped over from camps in the US, keen on using them for the body modification trials to further human evolution. While some may call it inhumane, it is still a fate far superior to simply starving to death or dying of exposure to the elements while a war rages on around them.

Everything was in position for the heist. The banks were leading up the trucks, their GPSs were ready with the route Charlie had programmed, underneath the overpass, Jimmy and Hank were ready to go, Mariana was in her getaway car, with Michael at the wheel of another one, ready to pull in front of the convoy.

"They're moving out." said Michael. "I'm getting in front." he added as he drove in front of the convoy of trucks.

"All right, we're coming up on the turn, let's hope they go right." said Charlie. Sure enough, they did. Followed by a left turn onto the bridge.

"Yes!" exclaimed the joyful hacker.

"Let's not get ahead of ourselves." said Michael. "Guys, time for a delay." he added. And on command, a car at the far end of the bridge stalled, causing another one to brake and stop at an angle blocking both lanes of traffic. "How'd you do that?" asked Michael.

"What can I say? Teslas have some system vulnerabilities." said Charlie, as traffic ground to a halt on the bridge. "Ok we're in position. which truck is over the hole?" asked Michael.

"3rd one it looks like." said Hank sticking his head through a hole in the road they had drilled.

"Get down!" reprimanded Jimmy. "They can see you!" he added.

"Then it's time for some smoke and mirrors" said Michael.

Jimmy and Hank positioned a set of mirrors around the hole, angled down so it looked like the road surface continued. Then they began drilling a hole in the bottom of the truck, and began emptying it, and passing the loot to where their car was, via another hole. As Michael's car began to fill up, the accident at the head of the road was moved aside.

"Guys, hurry up!" he urged. Once they had finished loading their getaway car, a non-descript van, Michael gave the go-ahead for the 'smoke' part of "smoke and mirrors". The road underneath the truck they robbed blasted away, and the truck fell down.

"Haha YES!" exclaimed Jimmy delightfully.

"Mariana, you're go." he said to her over comms. And on cue she tore off from under the bridge, down the canal.

"There they go!" screamed a guard, pointing at Mariana's car.

As her car drew the cops away, Michael and the others drove off, following her on the road running alongside the canal.

"Misdirection baby!" said Michael. They continued alongside her, then she drove up the angular wall of the canal, right in front of the getaway van, which pulled up just enough to block the cops from following her. Once Mariana had ditched the car in a nearby garage, they moved the van, and picked her up out of the cops' view.

"We did it!" Michael yelled triumphantly.

'YES!", "Woohooo!", "oh yeah!" were the reactions from the guys. Mariana simply told Michael: "Guess I underestimated you." and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

And just like that five people got away with 120 million Traders in...... GOLD?

Wait, hang on. You're probably thinking this heist was about cash. And at first it was, but what's a heist movie without a twist? You see, it all started when Charlie was keeping tabs on the CEOs. He discovered using algorithms, that the bank CEOs hid their dishonest gains in the midst of the banks' assets. That's why their case was thrown out for lack of evidence. Michael was actually the one who figured they were hiding their assets in gold. So when he went to "make sure that the other preparations for the heist were ready" he was contacting the NIS. And sure enough the remaining gold in the truck, just a few bricks left on purpose, was enough to get the financiers to admit everything. So it looks like this story came to satisfying conclusion.

The bank CEOs pled guilty in the retrial, so the customers got their money back. And the 120 mil the gang stole, they got to keep. Jimmy started his own pyrotechnic effects studio, they’ve already been hired for the movie based on the book based on the 1813 Revolution. Charlie started a video game company, their first title, High-Speed Heist is a smash hit. Hank got tired of following Michael around and bought a restaurant, the diner they used to go to. As for Michael and Mariana, they’re going steady now, and are running their own GT racing team, which Michael occasionally bets on ; ).

No matter his motivation - Panoosian has since been arrested, and is awaiting trial which is - judging by the verdict of the Papazian trial - is to end in an immediate guilty verdict; and he - the (attempted) regicidaire - is expected to be promptly shot after said verdict. A fate worthy of such degeneracy...

And, just like that, silence...

The news came not through the television - nor through the radio - but through the shouts of the heir's advisors; running up and down the streets of many a city. 'His Majesty is dead!', they shouted, 'God save Hovhannes!" Twas surprisingly old-fashioned...but effective. No matter how many times the Armenians' new-found foes may claim otherwise - the (late) King was widely beloved throughout the realms...not for his conquests and not for his dedication to the state - but for his dedication for tradition...something that - without a doubt - has passed onto Hovhannes; the (former) Viceroy of the Balkans and the newly-established 'Holy Armenian Emperor'...a title bestowed upon him by the Catholicos with great haste...and with such a choice came the decision to posthumously honour the late sovereign with many a title which - at this point - was all too common. Nevertheless, Hovhannes - donning his ceremonial uniform - made a (standardized) address to his countrymen...one filled not with anger and hate - but with sorrow and softness. He is but eighteen years of age, after all.

The young sovereign has arranged for his elder brother's funeral - in which the casket is to be carried across Anatolia...a ceremony symbolic of his conquests. A symbol of Armenia's glory. "Zarnicovia Nova will not be humiliated" has been replaced by "The Balkans will not be subjugated". Moderates remain silent, as the more far-left sing the more extreme parts of the song, but all sing against the crimes of Armenia.

The Armenian coin given to the Duke of Sanderreich at Gdrig II's funeral has been destroyed. It originally has been seen as a symbol of friendship, and it was given to the Holy Emperor of Gertyx on his coronation. However, in recent events, it has been retaken and replaced by a triangle-cut sapphire.

His Imperial Majesty 'Open to Negotiations' On the Balkans

And so it begins...

His Imperial Majesty and his advisors - all of whom had served under the late Gdridg II - gathered in-front of thousands in Sofia to discuss the ongoing...situation in the Balkans. Tis quite the controversial topic, after all...and - as part of his imperial duties - Twas the newly appointed emperor's decision to resolve it. And so - with great haste - His Imperial Majesty, donning his glorious uniform, announced that he was 'open to negotiations' in regard to the region...but also made it clear that, no matter what, the Armenian government would not would not withdraw from its newly obtained lands...nor would it legalize any socialist party; the latter of which is - no doubt - a result of his elder brother's assassination. 'The integrity of Armenia', he said, 'lays not with succumbing to pressure'. Such negotiations - he added - would, of course, take place in Yerevan; the fatherland's capital and centre of its diplomatic efforts. Perhaps tis an attempt at reform...

Nonetheless, tis an interesting start to a, no doubt, rather interesting era.

Gorbachenko promises intervention

Saturday that the Trans-Uralian Federation should
consider potential military intervention in

aid of Armenia as Balkan tensions continue to rise, causing
great concern to the potential of a regional conflict
affecting trade. Uralian bases on the disputed
peninsula of Taurida have been ordered to Combat readiness

in the case of a regional Balkan conflict in which it will aid
Armenian forces in securing victory in the Balkans.

Svoborisk Times' poll found 39% of Svoborisk Oblast
respondents, 41.9% of Belozersk Oblast respondents and
37.6% in the Kirivgrad Special Economic Zone supported the Federation
“joining the military response” in a future Balkan conflict, while
34.2%, 31.5% and 36.8% opposed it, respectively.

Majorities in the State Duma also backed a potential
military intervention in a future Balkan conflict, including 67.3%
in the Federation Council, 70.2% in the Supreme State
Council and 61.9% in the State Duma.
