Rep. Maximoff: While I do commend the move for an actual KTO sports league, I'd also have to question if such a resolution truly is necessary, given any one nation could have done this without the need for an article. That aside, it would be nice to see more military sports tournaments held, given the sheer lack of them when compared to such events like WorldVision or the numerous baseball, football, and rugby events. In fact, I'd even go so far as to say that there aren't ANY dedicated tournaments for military sports on an intercontinental scale, while there's excessive emphasis on contact sports and glorified concerts instead.

So, with all that said, I'll support this resolution, but only if it results in the creation of some dedicated military sports tournaments, with actual sponsors throwing their hats into the ring for advertisement purposes and to hopefully expand their corner of the market.

Not to mention one can use this as an opportunity to advertise products as well, such as the Gonswanzan Standard Motors GRS-090, or the Zelinny Industrial Group JP-1.

Colonel Alexander Peterson approached the meeting table from the direction of his assigned office. He had spent the betterment of his time since his arrival situating his workspace. It was a very fair and sizeable workspace, with a fold-out couch-bed and other necessities for Ambassadors to endure the rigors of diplomatic work. He had spent another length of time negotiating with the central diplomatic offices back home as they decided to draft a first resolution, to at least show good faith in the KTO and have a solid foot in the door - metaphorically.

Does therefore this assembly assert the responsibility of a Nation, if such Nation is a Member-Nation within the Kalisight Treaty Organization (hereunto referred to as KTO), to provide Humanitarian Assistance and Aid to defeated nations during times of war. That such Nations, being a Member-Nation of the KTO, do hereby provide 1% of their GDP towards a general fund that shall fund and support KTO Humanitarian Operations. That hereby this resolution shall be enacted automatically upon any Declaration of War issued by the KTO towards an aggressor entity, that therefore such enaction of this declaration shall ensure the fair and moral treatment of nations and individuals afflicted by issued Declarations of War. That therefore if such a Member-Nation, if existing as a Member-Nation within the KTO during a time of War as Declared, having not the capability to provide such humanitarian provisions and/or assistance, shall not be forced to comply with the requirements of this Humanitarian Assistance Act. That hereby: 1.) The General Fund as required and provided by the provision of this Humanitarian Assistance Act be utilized to fund a multi-naval fleet donated by Member-Nations of the KTO to assist and provide Humanitarian Aid in the manner of salaries, foodstuffs, fuel, and all necessary provisions for KTO volunteers providing humanitarian aid, 2.) The General Fund as required and provided by the provision of this Humanitarian Assistance Act be utilized to fund the acquisition of all necessary humanitarian supplies to be stored safely and securely until such time as necessary that such supplies be distributed to afflicted nations and individuals, 3.) The General Fund as required and provided by the provision of this Humanitarian Assistance Act shall fund the formation and therefore maintenance of an Office of KTO Humanitarian Operations that shall be staffed by representatives of all Member-Nations. That hereby: 1.) Member-Nations within the KTO shall be in compliance with the provision of this Humanitarian Assistance Act if they provide supplies and provisions for 1,000 individuals containing a mixture of or in entirety of water, food, emergency equipment, emergency supplies, and other necessary provisions deemed to provide assistance in Humanitarian Operations, 2.) Member-Nations within the KTO shall be in compliance with the provision of this Humanitarian Assistance Act if they provide personnel to the Office of KTO Humanitarian Operations, to provide assistance and logistics, to ensure full and successful operations, 3.) Member-Nations within the KTO shall be in compliance with the provision of this Humanitarian Assistance Act if they provide one naval asset, land asset, or air asset deemed supportive of the operational capacity necessary to ensure the successful compliance of this Act.
