JP-1 Tank

Image

Price: 5.03 Million NSD
DPR: 600 Million NSD

Developed by the Zelenny Industrial Group, the JP-1 was the main battle tank of the revolution, serving JURA for decades. The tank has been continuously upgraded to meet modern standards and stay one step ahead of its enemies. At a medium weight of 54 tons, the tank boasts a length of 9.97 meters, a width of 3.75 meters, and a height of 2.30 meters, making it able pass on most of the Janpian infrastructure. It was designed to replace the MT-70 "Charcoal" tank and advance the Revolution in modern armored combat, taking the Janpian terrain into consideration, which is mainly flat with rolling hills and forests as obstacles. With those in mind, the designers prioritized the tank to have long-range capabilities, with an efficient engine and economy to keep it running at 70kph to keep up in transport or combat situations. This makes the JP-1 effective for any operations that requires high maneuverability or swift actions.

Crewed by three or four members, the JP-1 tank has designated roles for the gunner, commander, and driver, with the option of an additional machine gunner or second commander. The fourth role is optional and serves primarily as backup for the crew. The tank's armaments are equally impressive, with a stabilized 130mm SAUT-130M2 as the main armament, allowing for highly accurate shooting while on the move. This accuracy is further enhanced by the Rakata BMS, a system that automatically tracks multiple targets, evaluates their threat level, and provides recommendations to the crew. In addition, the BMS has a database for the tank's fire control systems, which collates information and allows the gun to automatically aim at the enemy vehicle's weak points. The Rakata BMS also facilitates the sharing of information with other allied forces, improving its inter-operability capabilities and situational awareness.

As for the protection, the JP-1 is protected with the Yagerov Composite Armor T2, shielding the crew and vital components from enemy fire. Additionally, the tank is equipped with 60,000 EMP Amperes Protection, air filtration, NBC protection, and spall liners, protecting it from any CBRN, ATGM, or Electronic Warfare attacks. It also has a fire detection and suppression system for the engine compartment, which could remove engine fires and save other components. Other notable features of the JP-1 is its low IR profile, 360 digitalized commander and gunner FLIR, laser rangefinders, waterproof hull and systems, 8 smoke charges, and communications jammer for ambushing. RMT General Purpose Truck

Postby Janpia » Thu Jul 28, 2022 9:06 am

RMT General Purpose Truck

Image

Price: 610,000 NSD
DPR: 20 Million NSD

Intelligence is considered as half of the battle. The other half lies at another thing: Logistics. For this reason, the Aukari Automobile Workers' Union has designed and developed a new line of dual-use trucks for both public and military use, with the objective goal of standardizing the logistics line and establishing a new baseline for JURA's future combat vehicles. Unveiled as the Revolutionary Motorized Transporter (RMT), these trucks comes in two variants: a 6x6 for light weight carriage, and an 8x8 for heavy all-purpose carriage. Thanks to its modular and reliable suspension design, the trucks can be upgraded or used into various different variants such as a Mobile Command Vehicle, an up-armored MRAP, Field Kitchen, Radar Station, Mobile Infirmary, and various more depending on the operation requirements. This makes the truck much more flexible, and increases the plausible commonalities when making a truck-based military variant.

On to its suspension, both RMT variants utilizes an independent, two steerable, swing axles for better sustained speeds on rough road conditions, offering it with better offroad or cross-country capability, making the ride much more comfortable and allowing for precise handling given that the wheels can move independently. With these feature, the truck can also have a maximum tire-to-ground contact, enabling better control for the driver. Furthermore, thanks to its AUTM backbone transmission, it also has a low transfer of vibrations, better chassis resistance against torsion or bending, has long life service, and also protects the drive shafts inside of it, making it much more reliable and easy to operate as compared to the traditional systems. It has adjustable vehicle height and clearance, allowing the truck to have a modifiable vertical climbing ability or fording depth rate. Other specifications such as an advanced Magnetorheological damper absorbers were also added, which utilize a special type of fluid that is controlled by a magnetic field. This field can be controlled by an algorithm through an electric current, which would determine and stabilize the yield shear stress point. Thus making the ride much smoother and more comfortable for the crew.

As for its engine, all of the RMT Truck family utilizes a single engine known as the AUE-300, for parts commonality and to ease logistics. The AUE-300 is a V8, direct-injected, air-cooled, turbocharged diesel engine, that has a total of 435 mechanical horsepower and contains 2 batteries that has 12 volts each. It also has a space for an extra alternator to charge both of the batteries and to convert the mechanical horsepower to voltage if necessary. It is placed on a cab-over-engine (COE) arrangement, which lessens any blind spots on the front, as well as making the truck much more compact and easy to maintain due to its easy access from the cab to the adjacent engine bay. In total, both variants run up to -45 liters per 100 kilometers, making the range up to 977 kilometers at a 440-liter tank. Both also have an actuator piston displacement of 12,672cc tor piston as well as a total of 16 gears, with 14 dedicated forwards and 2 for reverse. Thanks to the engine's selective catalytic reduction system, the truck is Euro 4 certified, making it have a less carbon footprint. As for the achieveable speed, the RMT can run up to 105 kilometers per hour on paved roads and 40 kilometers on cross-country or off-road conditions.

In terms of crew ergonomics, the RMT cabin comes in prepared with proper crew comfort and endurance in mind. As per JURA standards, the truck comes in with heating and air conditioning with cabin climate control, dual bunk bed space on the back for long-haul or stays, and other crew ergonomics such as an IP67 rated dashboard to increase endurance from outer elements. Due to its supposed use on JURA, the cabin space behind the driver, specifically the area for a dual bunk bed space, can also be converted to accomodate radar or electronic consoles, extra generators, or artillery/rocket fire control systems. Control-wise, the truck is easy to familiarize and operate due to its automatic electronic clutch with torque converter, which allows it to operate in automatic, semi, and full manual mode, depending on the driver's reference or the road situation.

Other driver support systems are also included such as an automatic load sensing valve brake, which can determine and sense the weight of the entire load space and balance the brake fluid per individual hydraulic pressure, making speed reduction proportionate. This works statically with a valve like device that determines the weight of the cargo on a certain area on the load space, which triggers the onboard electronics system that determines the whole truck load and sensing. This system then automatically allocates enough brake fluid per individual hydraulics system at the drum brakes, ensuring that each hydraulic receives just few or enough necessary fluid for an equal brake. Other parts of the system such as an integral power steering and ABS mode are also included, which can help the driver by preventing the wheels from locking up, giving the driver more control to steer away from an obstacle. The integral power steering can also help by reducing the effort to steer and manuever the vehicle with normal strength, which is connected to the actuator on the truck's servo system.

As for its performance, the truck can be left or right handed as part of the export plans of the Aukari Workers' Council, albeit the conventional or the factory-built variants would be in the right side to conform on Janpian roads. It has a wheel rotation of up to 39°, making it have a turning radius lower than 10 meters. Its robust electronics systems and performance means that it can operate from -40C to +49C, making it tough and capable to work around desert or winter conditions. Furthermore, thanks to its engine air intake placements as well as its IP67 rated cabin dashboard, an RMT truck in conventional layout can ford at a recommended depth of 1.8 meters, enabling it to pass over rivers or streams with ease. The conventional layout could also climb at a vertical height of 500mm, making it capable to pass over tall solid obstacles or objects on its path. Among other features to help it transit along rough terrain is its CITS which controls the tire overpressure control, enabling the driver to change the pressure of the tires while driving.

In terms of protection, the RMT truck comes in at a STANAG level 3 on all sides, making it protected from 7.62 projectiles or 155mm shrapnel explosion from 60 meters. With its versatile nature, the truck can also be added with mine flooring protection to the truck load and the cabin, as well as a low profile APS to counter incoming rocket systems. It also has an AFVT-100A Filtration and Ventilation System around the cabin, which can be extended to the truck load, making the air ambience around the truck safe and secure for breathing from contamination, poisoning, chemical warfare agents, radiations, and among others, at a rated purified airflow of m3/hour — 100. This filtration system has its own housing with air blower and packet filter, as well as a control panel with color indication of operating modes. As part of JURA's specifications, the truck can also be armed with a single light or heavy machine gun ranging up to .50 cal, which can be operated through a roof manhole on a standing position from the cabin.

AH-2A

Image

Image

Price: 6.2 million NSD
DPR: 600 Million NSD

Utilizing the hull and chassis of the AH-2 IFV, the Workers of Zelenny Industrial Union has designed a tracked APC variant for the Revolutionary Army, developing the AH-2A for service. The AH-2A was originally designed to be reliable and modular, capable of operating in Janpian terrain and employing existing platforms to simplify manufacturing, maintenance, and logistics. Its designs were to be compatible with the Revolutionary Army's systems and can be easily integrated into the Janpian Army doctrines. The design was finalized and submitted to the Revolutionary Council as ZAC-32, having a total weight of 36 tons in stock, and 44 tons with the modular armor package installed. It also has a width of 3.4 meters, a length of 7.6 meters, and can operate up to 70 kmph in road conditions. Like the AH-2 IFV, it can cross over 2.5-meter trenches and can carry up to 9 to 12 personnel.

The AH-2A is outfitted with the "Witch" RCWS, which allows the AH-2 to fire back against hostile targets while keeping the crew safe inside. The "Witch" RCWS is an automated 50-caliber machine gun that utilizes a 3rd Gen FLIR, enabling the APC to effectively fight in both day and night conditions. The said variant also utilizes the Rakata BMS, allowing the AH-2A to identify multiple targets, determine the threat levels, and give recommendations to the crew. It can also track multiple targets and receive live outside feeds from the Revolutionaries, putting it on edge in terms of information and planning. The BMS also enables the APC to coordinate with the rest of the Janpian armored fleet, easing communications and streamlining operations. As for the FCS, the "Witch" has an installed context-based aim assist, which enables the AH-2A to respond to any threats and automatically shoot them down based on their danger level. It can also distinguish between friend and foes, and has automatic aim-assist for quicker reactions. Another AH-2A variant was made with no RCWS, having a different internal composition without the dedicated gunner space, allowing more room inside and enabling specialized roles for transport or medical/rescue purposes.

Like the AH-2 IFV, the APC variant utilizes the same NBC protection, making it capable on fighting at both chemical or radiated conditions. Furthermore, it utilizes the same double-floor plate for anti-mine protection, along with rolled steel composite armor that is capable to be fitted with a modular armor kit. Other similar defenses such as spall liners and laser warning designators are also added, giving the APCs the capability to stop smaller fragments and detect laser range finders or missile targeting systems. The designators also enable the APCs to automatically detect the laser direction, giving the crew some additional information about the enemy positions or missiles and giving them the option to retaliate, retreat, or fire smoke grenades to blur out enemy missile guidance or fire controls. The AH-2A is also amphibious, enabling the APC to operate on rivers and perform various operations. The AH-2A can also be equipped with an Iron-Tide APS, which doubles its side protection by directly eliminating RPG or APFSDS rounds and providing the crew with additional information about the enemy's position or firing point.

JP-2AX "Sovereign" Tank

Image

Price: 11.5 Million NSD

The introduction of the JP-2A Arbiter has set a new and unprecedented standards in the tank designing industry. Designed and built by the Zelenny Industrial Workers' Union, the Arbiter boasted improved and better performance than its predecessor, equipped with improved fire control systems, precise target acquisition and identification, better crew ergonomics, streamlined C5ISR systems, and among others. It was a next generation tank made for the next generation battlefield, made to fight the emerging threats complete with its own structural squad roles, which also brings an entirely new doctrinal concept for the Revolutionary Armored Brigade. Nevertheless, it was accepted into service after further testing at the Malingrad Proving Grounds, with the Revolutionary Army ordering an initial batch of a hundred JP-2A Arbiters. Needless to say that its development was a success. But looking on to capitalize opportunities and strengthen Janpian allies, there were already some plans to create an export variant for the tank, which goes as far early as during the Arbiter's design stages.

First introduced as a mock-up on the Azmeny Arms Expo, the JP-2AX "Sovereign" is an export variant of the famed JP-2A Arbiter with an additional open-architecture for foreign electronic systems, extremely modular design for the gun, sight systems, and even armor, all while keeping the essential parts of the Arbiter Tank. Designed for foreign compatibility, the JP-2AX "Sovereign" has the same internal layout of the JP-2A Arbiter, allowing the future users to train in Janpia at an Arbiter Tank while their acquisition orders of JP-2AX "Sovereigns" are being completed. In this manner, foreign users have an additional benefit of having a trained crew by the time they receive their equipment, cutting them less when it comes to crew training time. With such design philosophy, the JP-2AX Sovereign utilizes english terms for the crew panels as well as a separate export variant of the Rakata Battle Management System. This new battle management is an open-architecture system which allows various customization of functionaries or programs depending on the user or their doctrines. Which means that this tank would be fully functional for any mission or hierarchy imposed upon by foreign users, with great flexibility to partake in to any military structure or usage for them.

Like the JP-2A Arbiter, the JP-2AX "Sovereign" utilizes the EZV-3 Tank Panoramic Sight and its components, using the same structural arrangement of the Arbiter for the panels, focal-point array, and among others to streamline user training given existing commonalities. Originally, the design purpose of the EZV-3 sight was to streamline the hunter-killer system of the Arbiter Tank, with a 50.56 degrees per second rotate, enabling it to scan the entire 360 degree environment in just 7.12 seconds. Regardless, the EZV-3 is a gyroscopic, panoramic tank optic that has a two-axis stabilizer, that is also equipped with a high-definition, dual-band 3rd gen FLIR. These thermals enable the crew to identify and effectively detect NATO size 2.3 x 2.3 targets up to 7,500 meters, which they could accurately hit thanks to its eye-safe, methane-pumped, raman-shifted, laser rangefinders, which has a range of up to 9,500 meters. Furthermore, the EZV-3 sight has a 0.05 milliradian error margin to the gun, and has an elevation of -20 to 60 degrees. It has a fully colored magnification and target identification levels of 3x, 6x, 13x, 16x, 25x, 50x digital zoom, as well as a 12 – 17 µm spectral bandmaking detector technology. The EZV-3 also has a focal-point array, dewar cooler bench, and instant calculation electronics to convert thermal radiation into identifiable video images. With this sight, the tank is more capable of seeing long-range targets in 1,316 x 480 pixel resolution under its effective identification range. Among the components of the EZV-3 is its own electrical unit and digitalized main control unit, which are connected to a four-bar linkage drive units. The digitalized main control unit has the weaponry traverse control program, thermal optics control panels, and gun position sensors. It also has a switch unit program in case the crew needs to switch roles (commander to gunner or vice versa), as well as a connector unit that utilizes inputs from the BMS database. This connector unit allows the sight to also function as a fire control system, utilizing the export variant of the Rakata BMS and its database to automatically adjust and aim the gun at the weakpoints of an identified target. The system utilizes 4 sights which is the main commander sight, main gunner sight, gunner auxilliary sight, and a back-up gunner sight. All of which are accessible to everyone's crew consoles, giving them access to increase situational awareness or incase one of the sights got knocked out. With the internal components, as well as the sight's arrangeability, the EZV-3 is modular for any existing battle management system and capable of functioning for any crew assignment.

Another concept which was also retained from the Arbiter was the WITCH II RWS, which is a system that functions similarly to the traditional CIWS utilized on some warships, albeit utilized on a smaller scale for a tank. This concept was originally conceived during the 60s, only made possible by repurposing the AESA sensors to EO (could retain the AESA arrangement depending per customer), in order to automatically interdict drones instead of the intended ATGMs. Its own EO sensor is also connected to the export variant of the Rakata BMS, allowing it to automatically classify, recognize, and target/eliminate without the need of human supervision, depending on the BMS arrangement. Though it could also use the radars from the tank APS for extremely close engagement (not advisable), given that it is also connected to the same system. The RWS can also be modified to utilize different calibers such as 12.7 or 7.62 machineguns, as well as the 40mm automatic grenade launchers.

Among other features of the Witch II are the integrated hostile fire sensors (HFS) and ground surveillance radars (GSR), which further enhances the RWS' detection rate and retaliation capability against multiple drone attacks or even snipers. In more specifical details, the integrated hostile fire sensors utilizes the improved Tomai-60 gunshot detection system that is also used on the JP-2A Arbiter, which would help the crew to be more aware of hostile firing locations, giving them the chance to retaliate or to direct their weapon system. This could be helpful when the tank is performing lone fire support missions with an infantry squad, allowing it to locate enemy suppressive fire independently without the need to coordinate with the nearby squad members, thus streamlining the process. Furthermore, given the exact nature of combat, the Tomai-60 can filter out any gunshot locations coming from the locations of any BMS-connected squad members or vehicles, allowing the tank to maintain awareness of hostile locations despite the heat of the battle. The system utilizes an acoustic detection that is connected to a filter program, which would then determine the location and range of the gunshot noise after it gets detected. It can also tell how many shots were fired, its plausible fire rate, and how many plausible shooters, all in the span of a single second. Thanks to the BMS connectivity, it can also coordinate with other similar sensors connected to the same BMS, which can further enhance the accuracy of the firing location report by basing the time of the gunshot noise to reach each detection system, allowing for triangulation. Depending on the situation or the mission, this system can easily be toggled on and off through the BMS control panels.

Unlike the JP-2A Arbiter, the JP-2AX Sovereign employs a modular armored system that allows the users to utilize their own protection modules, providing them with the necessary options for better operational flexibility when executing specific-based missions. This means that the users can modify the overall weight depending on their own armor modules, or emphasize protection on specific areas of the tank for certain situations. Furthermore, the mounting structure on the modular armor system can easily detach or attach armor modules, making on-field maintenance easier, faster, and logistically sustainable. Having modular armor also makes repairing easier, provided that in certain scenarios where the armor modules were broken, it could easily be replaced in just a few minutes thanks to its modularity unlike the traditional armored set-up. Furthermore, the modular set up also allows for unique protection module placements such as frontal APS or ERA, which depends entirely on the usage doctrines or availability for the user. As for the stock modular armor, the JP-2AX Sovereign utilizes what is known as the modular special armored cover-4B (MSAC-4B), which utilizes advanced ceramic plating that can withstand faster objects going faster than the speed at which ceramic breaks, such as APFSDS. The use of ceramic armor makes it much more lighter than the traditional steel or aluminum used on many tanks, all while keeping it strong enough to withstand attacks from various threats ranging from shaped charge protections, anti-tank missiles, kinetic, or ballistic rounds. Given the MSAC-4B's structure, this could be modified or added with additional layers of steel or various materials, making its protection or weight entirely reliant to the user. Regardless, if ceramics are overmatched, the MSAC-4B could reduce overpressure, reduce thermal stress, and reduce the noise thanks to its sound absorbing properties, all while passing it to the base armor.

In such regard, the base armor is one of the unique internal features of the JP-2AX Sovereign, which utilizes a miniaturized carbon-fiber and confined ceramic matrix segments in its internals. This is topped with a layer of polycrystalline steel plate, which has a higher grain boundaries for better ballistic protection and stress resistance. The grain boundaries was made just high enough in order to prevent the propagation of cleavage-type cracks when hit by fragments or ammunition. But regardless, with this unique base armor structure, the weight was further lessened as compared to the traditional JP-2A Arbiter, making it suitable and more friendly in less-developed infrastructures, all while keeping its defensive power. As part of its standards, the JP-2AX Sovereign also has PX-2100 spall liners that is similarly used for the Arbiter, which can stop fragments from further deforming towards the fighting compartment and thus increasing the crew's survivability. Other protection features found on the JP-2A Arbiter were also utilized for the JP-2AX Sovereign. One of them is the MSAC-IED. This is a modular cover below the tank, which can absorb landmine explosions, IEDs, VBIEDs, or RSIEDs, on the road, with the help of liner technologies.

Just like the JP-2A Arbiter, the Sovereign also utilizes the same new modular bustle loader system. This system, which was designed by the Workers of Jaschin Tooling & Machinery Union, has the capacity to fit a total of 10 to 20 VTA-3M5 sized ammunition, and load a single round into the SAUT-130M6 gun breech in a span of 2 to 3 seconds. 1 second were allocated to allow the breech to recoil and return, and 2 seconds were allocated for the feeding time. Given that 130mm ammunition can weigh from 20 to 60 kilograms, 2x powerful ram hydraulics were utilized to allow the shell to travel 0.8 meters from the feeder to the chamber within 2 seconds. Nonetheless, the autoloading system has a small dedicated feeder that is built on to the tank, which can be attached with a 10-round magazine on either left or right. These magazines also comes with a laser barcode identifier for the ammunition, which can read commander or gunner commands from their consoles, enabling the magazine to provide the proper ammunition and load it to the feeder system. Given the magazine's modular feature, the loading system can replace one of the 10-round rotary magazines with either two pop-up ATGMs, enhanced J-TAPS, or small loitering drones. This later-added feature is part of the design team's efforts to combine features of formerly proposed tank concepts, which makes the JP-2AX potent for any mission. Nonetheless, the autoloader system can also unload ammunition that is inside the breech and has the capability to reorganize the ammunition inside the storage. Standard features such as blow-out panels are also included, as part of the safety modules on the magazines.

As for the APS, the JP-2AX Sovereign can either use the Iron-Tide or the Janpian Trushin APS, which both employs a computerized control unit from the export Rakata BMS, which can quickly calculate and eliminate any propelled projectiles before they can hit the tank itself. Both APS are connected to the thermal-electric cooled laser warning sensors, which have the capability to detect and pinpoint the direction of laser-guided projectiles or enemy rangefinders, potentially disclosing their positions. Additionally, with the help of the Rakata BMS, this information is passed on to all allied units in a live manner, which alerts everyone to any detected hostiles on a specific direction. In more specific protection features, the Iron-Tide APS is known for being capable of intercepting APFSDS rounds, while the Trushin APS was developed to lessen collateral damages in mind by sensoring its surroundings, making it suitable for urban combat. Furthermore, both of the APS' laser warning sensors also allow the tank to quickly retaliate or enact countermeasures, such as firing smoke grenades to blind any laser or homing guided missiles, or reposition to a safer spot. In general, the APS covers the tank's potential weakspots such as the sides or back, which further adds protection against ATGMs or HEAT, while the laser warning system is there to further enhance the APS interception and also reveal any hostile locations to the rest of the allies, if they use laser guidance or laser rangefinders. In regards to top-attack missiles, the JP-2AX utilizes an improved modular variant of the J-TAPS series, which has more explosive-formed penetrators (EFP) and a separate sensor for incoming projectiles from above. This modular system can be added in exchange for 10 round modular magazines, pop-up drones, or 1 to 2 pop-up ATGMs.

As for its powerplant, the JP-2AX "Sovereign" also utilizes the new ZHEDE-34612 is an opposed-piston, hybrid diesel-electric engine that comes in 3, 4, or 6-cylinders, allowing it to operate between 700hp, 1000hp, or 1500hp respectively. This opposed piston architecture allows the engine to function much more efficient than conventional engines, with each two stroke delivering power to the crankshaft by combining the intake and exhaust processes into the compression and power strokes, instead of having four traditional strokes. In this case, it makes the mechanical footprint smaller all while having enough equivalent power as to conventional engines, making the ZHEDE-34612 also modular in size depending on the power requirements. It can function in two modes: That being the silent mode which uses a DC electric mode, or the standard mode which operates with its diesel engine. The silent mode enables the tank to move around quietly with the exception of tracks or moving parts, which could be useful when maneuvering around urban environments. Albeit this mode is limited, given that it was prioritized for the tank's electrical component whenever the tank is stationary. Studies have shown that the majority of tank operations involve little to no maneuvers on the engagement range, making this new engine more efficient in operation, as well as 50% more economical in terms of oil consumption. When idle, the upgraded engine reduces the original 10 gallons of oil per hour to 3.17 gallons, and 15 gallons per hour instead of 3.25 when moving on off-road ranges. It also has an integral fuel filter system and a standard oil level sensor as a standard. Unlike the former engine used by the JP-2, the new engine uses a more common fuel variant known as Diesel# 2, which are often used by civilian trucks, thus simplifying the logistics line and cost. Additionally, the new engine reduces heat rejection by 25%, which leads to a huge necessary power reduction to the cooling fans and more power to the sprocket or other necessary components. This is part of the overall Advanced Thermal Management System (ATMS), which can provide a cooling solution to other components, which also increases its overall thermal efficiency and power. Included in this system are heat exchanger packs and electronics cooling system, which provides a general coolant for the engine and its components such as the filters, heat exchangers, and other electronics. Additionally, it also has a new brazed aluminum heat exchanger pack, which utilizes the recent breakthroughs in plate/fin technology. Due to its diesel-type fuel, the engine can also generate smoke screens by injecting diesel to a specialized hot exhaust, enabling ESS capabilities for the tank. This allows it to deploy smoke screens while moving, which could conceal anything behind its rear or cover the tank itself. In total, the new ZHEDE-34612 engine weighs around 3.7 tons, and it also has a 10kW low-profile auxilliary power unit at 28VDC for specific components such as the fire control allocation system and its BMS database. As part of the standard JP-2 protection, the engine space also has its own fire suppression system as part of the onboard malfunction detection system, which can detect fires in an instant and extinguish it to mitigate any further damages.

In terms of transmission and powertrain, the JP-2AX Sovereign utilizes the new automatic AZT-60A powertrain, which was specifically designed to operate with the ZHEDE-34612 engine that has dual operation modes. This powertrain is located at the back of the tank hull and has standard features such as regenerative steering for both left and right tracks, allowing the tank to maintain its speed while turning, all while keeping its motion and transmission smooth for the crew. Some former designs from the JP-2 were also retained in the design, such as its torsion bars with rotary shock absorbers, which makes the hull stable, especially when moving or doing maneuvers. The new powertrain also introduces newer designs, such as using more efficient gears instead of the traditional cross-drive transmission, allowing the tank to work more efficiently in rugged or cold/dry environments such as snow or deserts. This new powertrain is fixtured on to the same track of the JP-2 tank, and it is also capable of providing power to the tank's electrical components and hydraulics such as the gun stabilizers. Furthermore, the powertrain is capable to be fully drive-steer or brake-by-wire, allowing it to support future autonomous operations. The transmission can support a maximum weight of 70 tons, and it also utilizes a 160 kW starter-generator for the drivetrain. This starter-generator, also known as a modular auxiliary powerpack, is also used for most of the electrical components, and can also run the tank independently for a short period, making it operate in silent. As for the generator cooling, the fans used can be electric or hydraulic, in which the fan speed can be controlled depending on the required air or temperature, allowing the tank to operate in hot or cold areas reliably, and enabling more power to the powertrain or to other necessary electronics. In general, the AZT-60A powertrain has a forward range ratio of 33:1 to 1:1 as well as a backward range ratio of 35:1 to 1.75:1, giving the tank a total of 32 gears. With these in mind, the tank can go 67 kph at road speed and 48kph at off-road conditions. It also uses a retracting-spline final drive, which removes the immediate drive shafts that are used on the JP-2 tank. Overall, it also has a capacity of 19 gallons of transmission oil, and it can use SAE 5W 30, SAE 15W 40, SAE 10W, SHELL SPIRAX S6 ATF 2M, A295, or S4 ATF HDX oil types.

As for the main gun, the JP-2AX Sovereign also utilizes the same SAUT-130M6 system as the JP-2A Arbiter. This gun has hydropneumatic assembly and hydraulic retarders, which dampens the effects of recoil and make it return back to the exact angle after firing. It is rated to handle up to 22 MpA in pressure, one of the highest in terms of reliability against barrel wear. This is partly due to the ammunition that it uses, as well as the tank's higher fire rates. The gun has standard features such as bore evacuator to avoid the gas from returning to the crew compartment, a muzzle point reference to keep the barrel accurate and make maintenance check-ups easier, as well as a thermal sleeve to reduce and regulate the barrel's temperatures. The gun uses a 2 plane stabilizer that is embedded near the gun breech, as well as a calibrated EZV-3 gunner sight variant mounted on top of the external barrel. It has a maximum gun elevation of 20 degrees, and a maximum negative depression of 10 degrees. The gun breech is also capable to reprogram fuze timer shells in the breech, which was taken from the gunner's laser rangefinder results. Nonetheless, the controls for the gun, coax, Witch II RWS, and optional ATGMs can be controlled by either the gunner or the commander, depending on their crew configuration program from their Rakata BMS panel units.

Regarding the fire control systems and its BMS, the JP-2AX Sovereign utilizes the an export C5ISR systems variant, that is almost identical as the JP-2A tank. Which means that the tank can automatically track multiple detected targets, determine the threat level, and give recommendations to the crew or platoon, depending on the user's command support structure. Furthermore, it can also differentiate and recognize more significant threats based on the collected database, allowing the crew or the FCS to automatically aim at their weak spots with or without human intervention. This feature works by identifying the vulnerable points in enemy armor as determined by the the fire control system, which then automatically aims the gun at a possible penetration point depending on the ammunition loaded on the breech. The tank is equipped with a ballistic computer systems, which can take outside factors such as wind or temperature, as well as internal factors such as the barrel wear adjustments to make an accurate shot. Given that the computer is also part of the Rakata BMS, platoon commanders can view where their tanks are aimed at, allowing for coordinated fire with the rest of the squad. Just like the FCS, all components of the tank are connected to the BMS system, which gives full control to the crew.

With months in development after its public introduction, the JP-2AX Sovereign in its final form has been revealed to the public. It offers the best technologies the workers of Zelenny Industrial has to offer for the market, with its superior protection and firepower that is aimed to be a gamechanger.
