Coliantia prepares for war as Barasilan violation on airspace intensifies
A News Report by the Sulchi Times, Published on July 6, 2022
The government of Coliantia announced this afternoon that they are making plans and preparations for a possible war with Barasila as the latter's violation on the former's airspace intensifies.
According to a video announcement this afternoon, Coliantian President Ben Mukturi said, "Barasila looks to be tough on their decision to fly their planes over our sacred airspace. We tried to alleviate the tense atmosphere between our two nations, but Barasila has rejected peace and diplomacy. If that is the case, then war may be inevitable. As such, the military of Coliantia has now began preparations and made plans for a possible war between us and Barasila."
Today, around 70 Barasilan fighter jets flew around 1,100 meters above the southern cities of Coliantia, including Imakota, Siktana, and Sibiha. The Imakota Air Force Base had fighter jets and anti-aircraft systems, but they did not attack the Barasilan jets. Instead, they only ordered the Barasilans up above to move out of the airspace, but they were promptly ignored.
The airspace violation began yesterday, when Barasilan fighter jets first illegaly entered Coliantian airspace at around 4 in the afternoon.
The Coliantian government has filed a complaint to the Barasilan government yesterday in regards to the airspace violation, but has since been ignored.
