And I think that's wrong. Why do you think I support that when I've said numerous times that abortion should be allowed when the mother's life is at risk?

Speaking for myself: Because I don't belive you're consistent, and I don't believe that you actually care about the mother's life. Any pregnancy entails a risk to the mother. The US has a maternal mortality rate of 23.8 per 100,000, vastly higher than the rest of the western world, yet you are good with state enforced childbirth. You pick and choose which risk of death you deem a potential mother worthy of protection from, and which risk of death the state should force her to endure.

Hot take - if abortion bans aren't about controlling women why is there never any punishment for the father? After all it takes two to tango.

It's awesome isn't it? Two ruling in two days.

1. It is NOT the States right to decide if they allow concealed carry of handguns in their jurisdictions.

2. It IS the States right to determine if a woman can terminate a pregnancy.

Yeah, a woman's body is more heavily regulated than a gun.

This might be a really good post on Twitter but it doesn't really work if you know about the actual thousands of pages of federal gun regulations lol.

Plus it's not like the GOP would care even if it was true, nobody gives a shit about being consistent anymore.

I truly, truly from the bottom of my heart feel sorry for American's right now. I really, really do. It only took fucking over 100 million people for 5 people to get their names in the history books. I guess the American dream lives on after all....

It’s America. Did you actually expect anything good to come from this country? You’re better off expecting civil rights for gay people in North Korea. You can’t seriously be shocked by this unironically.

I've never interacted with you. Have you even read any of the arguments I've made about abortion on here in the past 2 days, or are you just saying this on a whim?
I've consistently said that abortion should be unrestricted if there's an immediate risk to the mother's life. Whether you feel I actually care or not is irrelevant, this is something I have said multiple times and will not waver on.

I would rather be as far away from this hellhole as possible. Canada is too close. But I can’t afford it and never will. I’m stuck in hell forever. Horribly depressing.

Good job, next step is to unilaterally ban abortion across all states. Not California though, they need to abort themselves out of existence.

Nah, next step is to enforce adoption of unwanted, probably aborted if allowed children, by single men.
Because they would by essence do a better job in raising those than their sinful mothers.

Anyone else find it strange that Planned parenthood is shutting down when they claimed only 3% of their services were abortion.

We are in the 21st century, birth control, contraceptives, egg harvesting (which can then be frozen and used for people who want babies but are infertile) and good ole abstinence exist. Taking precaution can prevent pregnancy. Hell even period tracking apps exist to make sure people miss the cycle.

You have to really NOT try to get pregnant though consentual sex.

So its not "ruining" millions of women's lives. People just have to be responsible when having sex now.

Source?

I've read that they've shut down their abortion services in states with triggers laws, not that they're closing entriely.
