Federali Unyone do Guadalupador Galia Elde Condemnation of Slavery and the Slave Trade in All Forms [Resolution Number: 24] Within recent years, the act of human slavery has once again reared its ugly face: Nations of ill repute across the world still practice the barbarism of human servitude, and worse still those nations that do practice slavery are offered seats at the table among more supposedly respectable powers. The International Freedom Coalition wholeheartedly CONDEMNS the act of human slavery, the slave trade and all those that condone its horrors. The heinous act of slavery includes but is not limited to human trafficking, indentured servitude, serfdom, and chattel slavery. The Council of the International Freedom Coalition, hereby: 1. Affirms the natural right of humanity to live outside of bondage to another. 2. Prevents all member-states, on penalty of immediate expulsion and ostracization from the Coalition, from enacting policies that equate to the heinous act of Slavery. 3. Enacts sanctions on and cuts diplomatic ties with states across the world that practice Slavery. 4. Establishes an Anti-Slavery Task Force to combat international human trafficking, and the formal human slave trade: a.) The Anti-Slavery Task Force is to be established as an entity that falls under the direct command of the International Freedom Coalition Peacekeeping Forces (IFC-PKF) b.) An Anti-Slavery Task Force Committee is to be established to provide information and oversight to the Council on its operations and funding. Signed, [Galia Elde, Federal Union of Guadalupador] |
