Low Nation Rank? (Answered, thanks guys!)

I used to be in the 147,000 range, and now after 10+ or so issues, I'm at the 250,000 range, am I just terrible with choices? Or is it just bad luck?
I don't mean to whine, if it sounds like it, and I don't care too much for Rank, I'm just wondering why I've went down so much in such a short time.

That is what you are ranked for the daily stat, not your real rank. It changes everyday because the daily special changes everyday.

One thing to pay attention to is that every day the “world census” changes. It’ll display a different stat each day. Tomorrow it might show one of your high stats - like authoritarianism - and then you’ll have a higher rank.
