NEW VESVAI BROADCASTING

Historic And Anticipated Day: Prime Minister Klosac Tinosmit Of The Sovereign State Of Vesvai Makes Official Visit To New Vesvai

Image

Today is the day that Vesvaites on both sides of the border have been anticipating for a long time. The Prime Minister leading the first democratically elected government in the Sovereign State of Vesvai in modern history Klosac Tinosmit is going on the first still technically foreign official visit. And it is unsurprising that the first visit is being made to the nation inhabited by those same exact Vesvaite people as in the Sovereign State. Rather than a foreign visit this could be viewed as Prime Minister Klosac Tinosmit simply visiting all of Vesvaite land than just one under the jurisdiction of the central government in Aurisi. The Prime Minister wants to see all of his compatriots including the ones across the border. This includes not just expats from the Sovereign State of Vesvai to New Vesvai but also local New Vesvaites themselves because this is the same nation.

This early morning New Vesvai's Prime Minister Fila Nemo arrived at the border between New Vesvai and the Sovereign State of Vesvai. it was once one of the most militarized borders in the world but since the Crimson Revolution and the Vesvaite Civil War the border has been undergoing demilitarization. Although it will take time before it is completely demilitarized and the border wall is removed. Across both sides of the border there were crowds of people waving the flags of New Vesvai and the Sovereign State of Vesvai. There were also border guards, police, military personnel and political delegations in a form of diplomats and other representatives including municipal government officials and MPs. The convoy of Prime Minister Fila Nemo pulled up first on New Vesvai's side and she stood waiting before the convoy of Vesvai's Prime Minister Klosac Tinosmit pulls up. It didn't take long before it finally did. PM Fila Nemo and PM Klosac Tinosmit then went towards each other from opposite sides of the border. This moment was covered in camera flashes and the sounds of snapped pictures. PM Tinosmit demonstrated classic chivalry towards PM Nemo by giving her a bouquet of flowers and kissing her hand. After they transitioned into a more diplomatic form of a casual handshake. The two Prime Ministers were supposed to head to Perloveu but prior to going deeper into New Vesvai the Prime Minister of Sovereign State of Vesvai asked his counterpart to briefly cross the border into the Sovereign State of Vesvai. She did for a duration of several minutes and greeted the crowd there alongside her counterpart. Afterwards both convoys of the Prime Minister of New Vesvai and the Prime Minister of the Sovereign State of Vesvai headed into New Vesvai going to Perloveu.

In the national capital there will be first official talks held between both Prime Ministers and also between the representatives of New Vesvai's cabinet and of Vesvai's delegation. The Prime Minister of the Sovereign State of Vesvai will also be invited to visit the Parliament and meet with MPs and also give an official historic speech there. The former Prime Ministers of New Vesvai will also be there on this special occasion. New Vesvai's Head Administrator Andre Tilicome additionally invited PM Klosac Tinosmit to visit him out of an eager wish to meet with and greet the Prime Minister of the Sovereign State of Vesvai. PM Klosac Tinosmit will also be invited to walk around Perloveu and possibly even tour other parts of New Vesvai for a little bit.

Prime Minister Klosac Tinosmit Makes First Official Visit Abroad Choosing To Visit New Vesvai, The Other Half Of The Still Separated Vesvaite Nation

Image

People on both sides of the inter-Vesvaite border observed some historic moments today. Large crowds holding Vesvai's and New Vesvai's flags on both sides of the border awaited for the convoys of Prime Minister Klosac Tinosmit and New Vesvai's Prime Minister Fila Nemo to arrive at the border. The convoy of the Prime Minister of New Vesvai arrived earlier and awaited on New Vesvai's side of the border. But it didn't take long before the convoy of PM Klosac Tinosmit arrived too. Both Prime Minister got out of limousines and starting walking towards each other from the opposite sides of the border. PM Tinosmit in what some might have seen as an "older fashion" gesture and gifted the female Prime Minister of New Vesvai flowers before kissing her hand. Afterwards they switched to a more traditional protocol-like handshake. Their entire engagement was captured by cameras in a prolonged fashion. Before both Prime Ministers got back into limousines and both convoys moved in the direction of New Vesvai PM Klosac Tinosmit briefly invited PM Fila Nemo to cross the border into the Sovereign State of Vesvai together with him which she did. Standing alongside PM Tinosmit, PM Nemo greeted the crowds on the Sovereign State of Vesvai side of the border. Afterwards both Prime Minister convoys headed into New Vesvai and specifically into the capital city Perloveu.

The official visit which will continue in New Vesvai's capital will include inter-government dialogue in a form of talks between both Prime Ministers and also between Vesvai's delegation and New Vesvai's cabinet. Afterwards PM Klosac Tinosmit will visit the New Vesvai's Parliament to meet all MPs there and give a speech at the Parliament. Then PM Tinosmit will visit New Vesvai's Head Administrator Andre Tilicome and travel around the capital Perloveu along with touring some other parts of New Vesvai. Prior to heading out to New Vesvai PM Tinosmit referred to it only formally as his first official foreign visit but in reality is just him visiting compatriots in a territory across the border because these are the same Vesvaite people living on both sides and he simply felt like he would be visiting Vesvaite land of everyone's mutual ancestors. But at the same time the Prime Minister did expect that aesthetically there might be differences between both Vesvais because of both sovereign states developing under different systems. The head of government also noted that there might be slight mentality differences in favor of the citizens of New Vesvai since they have been used to living in a free society much longer while the citizens of the Sovereign State of Vesvai have just started recently. At this time neither Aurisi nor Perloveu governments are talking about reunification talks because right now they feel like both sides need to "break the ice" first.

Vice Minister Of International Relations Altér Sódálî Visits Edereon

Image

Vice Minister of International Relations of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Altér Sódálî has travelled to Edereon for an official visit. This is the first visit by a Sunrisian administration and overall Sunrisian government official to Edereon since the May Revolution in Edereon. Vice Minister of International Relations Altér Sódálî has arrived to meet with Prime Minister Osa Repẽna leading a transitional government in Edereon, the transitional Cabinet of Ministers and the MPs of the transitional House of Representatives, the parliament of Edereon.

Vice Minister Altér Sódálî has arrived to begin the process of reviving the "allied and fraternal" relations between Edereon and Sunrisia, after they had deteriorated under the previous government of former Prime Minister Ármand Tungstenãn, who along with his leadership was ousted in the May Revolution, making Edereon now go through a systematic transition and the opposition being forced to take control of the country until the next snap elections. Vice Minister Altér Sódálî and the Ederi counterpart of his superior - Acting Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Edereon, will be discussing sending an Acting Ambassador, Acting Diplomats and Acting Embassy staff to the Embassy of Edereon in Orentan, after the Embassy of Edereon under the Tungstenãn government defected. Now, the transitional government of Edereon will send a temporary ambassador, diplomats and staff to represent Edereon under the current transitional government. Reportedly, Vice Minister of International Relations Altér Sódálî will also meet with His Majesty King Glac Crustal IV of Edereon.

The reason why Vice Minister of International Relations Sódálî is travelling to Edereon instead of Minister of International Relations of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Cálêr Ustrīnâ, is because the Érátân administration is preparing to host new Prime Minister Klosac Tinosmit of Vesvai in Orentan soon and Minister of International Relations Cálêr Ustrīnâ is required to personally be in the country for the time being.

Edereon welcomes Sunrisian Vice Minister of International Relations Altér Sódálî

Image

Image

The opposition-controlled Ederi transitional government has welcomed the first foreign guest since the May Revolution. Without much surprise the guest came from Sunrisia, an ally of Edereon which the Kingdom started facing a falling out with under the Tungstenãn regime. The Sunrisian government official who arrived is Vice Minister of International Relations Altér Sódálî. The Vice Minister is substituting for the Sunrisian Minister of International Relations Cálêr Ustrīnâ who is required to be in Sunrisia as the government there is preparing to welcome Prime Minister of the Sovereign State of Vesvai Klosac Tinosmit. The Sunrisian Vice Minister was welcomed by Prime Minister Osa Repẽna and acting officials of the transitional cabinet. Later the Sunrisian Vice Minister will visit the transitional House of Representatives and also will be invited to see the Royal Family specifically His Majesty King Glac Crustal IV. PM Osa Repẽna said that the transitional government does not have the powers to make key domestic or foreign policy decisions. Only the elected government will have a right to do that. But the Prime Minister still said that the transitional government is ready to relaunch dialogue with Sunrisia to rebuild the relationship that was damaged under the previous regime. One of the things to be discussed with the Sunrisian Vice Minister is to appoint an Acting Ederi Embassy in Orentan, Sunrisia with an Acting Ambassador, Acting Diplomats and Acting Staff. The Acting Ederi Embassy will be appointed by the transitional government and temporarily represent the Ederi diplomatic mission in Sunrisia while the transitional government is in office. The procedure will be identical to what has been done with the Ederi Embassy in Creperia which is also currently under acting functions. Acting Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of Edereon said such precautions would be taken because the Ederi Embassy in Sunrisia defected from the previous regime and practically stayed vacant. PM Repẽna said Edereon will be awaiting other high-ranking Sunrisian officials in Edereon during the transitional government's tenure.

Visiting Daredi migrants from Edereon stage pro-SOWEFTA demonstrations in Freihat and other cities of Daredland

Image

Image

Daredi migrants living in Edereon have arrived to Daredland not only to visit friends and family but also to partake in some political action. Daredi migrants from Edereon have staged pro-SOWEFTA demonstrations in Freihat and later identical demonstrations were seen in the cities like Geralden, Exor, Vasiti, Aurburg, Chryszig, Lern, Palendo, Moygon, Svematt, Eleut, New Schwarzburg, Liceli, St. Markfurt, Aquildorf and Ovardo. In these staged demonstrations the people waved national flags of Daredland, SOWEFTA, MDAA and member nations of both those organizations mostly Ederi and Sunrisian flags. Demonstration organizers said this was not targeted at any specific audience but it sought to send out an overall message in which everybody could technically be viewed as a target audience. The demonstrators sought to further promote the road of Daredland to SOWEFTA among Daredi government and populace by demonstrating that Daredi expats also supported their fellow compatriots back in Daredland for the nation to enter SOWEFTA. It was also a message aimed at the Ederi transitional government and the parties that will run in the next elections and will afterwards form a new government to support Daredland's accession to SOWEFTA. It was also a message to SOWEFTA as an organization and for all nations that are members of SOWEFTA to further support Daredland's accession to SOWEFTA.

Prime Minister Klosac Tinosmit Visits Sunrisia

Image

Vesvai's Prime Minister Klosac Tinosmit has gone on a second foreign visit. This time the head of government has arrived in Sunrisia and specifically in the nation's capital Orentan. The visit follows the Prime Minister's first official foreign visit to New Vesvai. The Prime Minister travelled to Sunrisia straight from New Vesvai where PM Klosac Tinosmit was on a four-day visit. In Sunrisia PM Tinosmit will be meeting President Sálût Érátân and members of his administration, which includes the Ministers of all key Departments through which the Sovereign State of Vesvai will be building its relationship with Sunrisia. PM Klosac Tinosmit plans to sign a Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) either with the Sunrisian President or the Sunrisian Minister of Security. Vesvai's government wants a SOFA agreement as a framework document which would give the Sunrisian forces currently stationed in the Sovereign State of Vesvai a legal status and prolong their stay in Vesvai for longer with a specific number of troops also being agreed on. Previously the transitional government of the Revolutionary Council of Free Vesvai (RCFV) only asked for Sunrisian troops to be stationed for a transitional period until the election and the formation of the government. But now Vesvai's government wants to prolong the presence of Sunrisian troops in Vesvai. After talks with the Sunrisian President and the administration officials PM Tinosmit will also visit the Sunrisian Convet to meet with Sunrisian lawmakers and give a speech at the Sunrisian legislature.

Sunrisia Hosts Prime Minister Klosac Tinosmit Of Vesvai On First Official Visit

Image

Prime Minister Klosac Tinosmit of Vesvai has arrived in Orentan today on his first official state visit to the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia and a second foreign visit in the position, having naturally gone to New Vesvai prior to Sunrisia in a 4-day visit. The Prime Minister of Vesvai went to Sunrisia straight from New Vesvai. The foreign guest was greeted at the Presidential Palace, where his limousine arrived, with President Sálût Érátân and a Sunrisian delegation along with members of the press and a crowd of common citizens, including Vesvaite expats, awaiting as well. After the Prime Minister of Vesvai got out of his limousine, he and President Érátân approached each other, engaging in a prolonged handshake captured by cameras. The President then proceeded to introduce the Prime Minister of Vesvai to each member of the Sunrisian delegation present. Afterwards, the President and the Prime Minister of Vesvai proceeded into the Presidential Palace.

President Sálût Érátân gave Prime Minister Klosac Tinosmit of Vesvai a brief tour of the Presidential Palace and then invited him to sign the guest book, making the Prime Minister of Vesvai the first Vesvaite politician to sign that guest book. Then, the 2 leaders proceeded into the room, where bilateral talks would take place. President Érátân had Vice President Vîsár Inpétăs, Minister of International Relations of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Cálêr Ustrīnâ, National Defense Consultant (NDC) Suâv Ambústên, Minister of Security of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Fógâr Nélsân, Minister of Finance and Economic Development of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Válîd Sâlúbĕr, Minister of Industry, Trade and Commerce of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Addél Dîlectên and a number of other Ministers by his side, while Prime Minister Klosac Tinosmit of Vesvai had his Vesvaite delegation by his side. The press took some pictures and video footage, before leaving the room so that the Vesvaite-Sunrisian talks could begin. One of the major agreements that would be included in the talks, would be a Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) between Vesvai and Sunrisia, proposed by the government of Vesvai, which would be a framework agreement giving the military of Sunrisia in Vesvai a legal status and mandate a specific number of military personnel stationed in Vesvai. Prior to this, the transitional government of the Revolutionary Council of Free Vesvai (RCFV) in Vesvai requested that Sunrisia station military forces in Vesvai for a transitional period until the general election and the formation of a government. Now, the new government of Vesvai wants to prolong Sunrisian military presence in Vesvai for an unspecified period with a SOFA treaty and a specific number of personnel. Prior to the arrival of the Prime Minister of Vesvai, National Defense Consultant Suâv Ambústên and Minister of Security Fógâr Nélsân said that the Sunrisian offer would be to station 40,000 military personnel in Vesvai in total, including the Sunrisian Army, Sunrisian Air Force and Sunrisian Naval Forces, who would all be stationed in local bases like Sunrisian troops in Vesvai are now. Before now, the specific number of Sunrisian military personnel in Vesvai was unknown and was reportedly fluctuating.

After talks, the Prime Minister of Vesvai will be invited to visit the Convet of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia to meet with Speaker of the Convet of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Dícâ Lócor and Sunrisian lawmakers, as well as to give a speech there. Later, President Sálût Érátân will also award Prime Minister Klosac Tinosmit of Vesvai with the Golden Sun honor as the first Prime Minister heading a democratically-elected government in Vesvai in modern history. Prime Minister Klosac Tinosmit of Vesvai will become the second person from the Sovereign State of Vesvai after former Chairperson of the Revolutionary Council of Free Vesvai (RCFV) and current Head Administrator of the Sovereign State of Vesvai Mia Amare to receive the Golden Sun.

Oblaren And Herbora Upset With The Prolonged SOFA Agreement Between The Sovereign State Of Vesvai And Sunrisia

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora Nicholas Vicina and Minister of Defense of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora Varsi Polvandet have denounced the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) between the Sovereign State of Vesvai and Sunrisia. Both officials jointly declared that Sunrisian military presence in the Sovereign State of Vesvai on the border of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora already undermined the Union's security and disrupted the stability and overall situation in the region. The new SOFA treaty that prolongs Sunrisian presence and mandates such a large number of troops as 40,000 is seen as a prolonged threat and a greater threat. Defense Minister Varsi Polvandet said that if there are 40,000 Sunrisian troops stationed in the Sovereign State of Vesvai then the Union of Oblaren and Herbora will be forced to react. The Defense Minister said that Herbora's part of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora would have to be remilitarized in a major way. Supposedly Prime Minister of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora Jonathan Mollisal will be presented with proposals for major increases to defense budget of the Union very soon.

NEW VESVAI BROADCASTING

BREAKING: Parliament Votes To Recognize Same-Sex Civil Unions In New Vesvai

Image

And this just in. New Vesvai's Parliament has voted to recognize same-sex civil union in New Vesvai. The bill passed not with a vast majority in favor but on the contrary in a very divided legislature. The bill tore the Parliament apart half and half with a near 50% in favor and 50% against the bill. But in the end the bill had passed thanks to a handful of votes that chose to support it. Had those handful of votes abstained or chosen to oppose the bill it would have failed to pass in either of the two cases. The bill was registered by MPs from the NR party which is part of the governing coalition with BOA.

The new law is historic not just for New Vesvai but also for the historical Vesvaite land and the Island of Vesvai overall as New Vesvai becomes the first location on the island with such advanced LGBT rights. The authors of the bill openly admit that what has helped the bill to pass was a decently developed democratic tradition and social progress both of which largely came to New Vesvai thanks to the nation joining MDAA and SOWEFTA. NR MPs think it is unlikely that any of the neighboring states on the Island of Vesvai would pass such a law today. Additionally they say that the new pro-LGBT law is part of the nation's advancing image and prestige because other member nations of MDAA except for New Vesvai and Daredland and also all member nations of SOWEFTA except for New Vesvai have long had same-sex marriage fully legal in their nations. In terms of socially progressive or non-traditional laws Sunrisia is the only MDAA and SOWEFTA nation and one of a handful of nations in the world where polygamous relationships are legally recognized. The current bill's authors think that in terms of socially progressive relationship laws it was time for New Vesvai to advance in the same progressive and tolerant direction. And yet New Vesvai has not legalized same-sex marriage like those other nations did and it will most likely take some time before it actually reaches that line. Today New Vesvai has only recognized same-sex civil unions which are a close equivalent to marriage but performing same-sex marriage on New Vesvai's territory is still not practiced or legal.

On the other hand those who had voted against the bill whether out of conservative values or other reasons call the recognition of same-sex civil unions in "ill-timed" or "too early" for New Vesvai. Some have even proposed interesting theories for why the bill has passed. Some opponents in the Parliament said the pro-LGBT bill was only passed in the name of the nation's international image which should not have been a reason legitimate enough to draft or such bills. Instead civil rights should be the main motivator and some of the bill's opponents don't think it was in this case. Other opponents of the bill even found a foreign policy reason by saying that legalizing same-sex civil unions in New Vesvai was ill-timed because it could now jeopardise the Vesvaite reunification process as the more conservative Sovereign State of Vesvai might now want to unite with a nation that has sucvh policies.

United Confederal Assembly and Confederal Supreme Court reaffirm that membership in SOWEFTA remains included in the Daredi constitution

Image

Image

The lower house National Council of the Daredi Confederation and the upper house Council of States of the Daredi Confederation who both make up the United Confederal Assembly have reaffirmed that Daredland's membership in MDAA and SOWEFTA remain in the nation's constitution. Even though Daredland has already joined MDAA with the exception of the territories occupied by the self-declared Weniges Reich and has closed the Confederal Ministry of MDAA Accession of the Daredi Confederation afterwards the nation is still on the path to joining SOWEFTA. Daredland remains an active pursuer of SOWEFTA membership with the only obstacles having been domestic instabilities, reforms and issues with Edereon which now seem like they will be overcome after the recent May Revolution there. The course towards joining SOWEFTA continues. After the United Confederal Assembly reaffirmed that Daredland's membership in MDAA and SOWEFTA remain in the nation's constitution the Confederal Supreme Court soon made a symbolic ruling declaring the same thing: Daredland's membership in MDAA and SOWEFTA remain in the constitution as an undisputed law unless under any circumstances there are attempts made to change this clause through protocol procedures. Despite having already joined MDAA the Daredi deputies in both the National Council and the Council of States don't see it as necessary as removing MDAA membership from the clause where it's written alongside SOWEFTA membership. Instead the clause of joining both organizations will most likely be removed from the constitution as being no longer necessary after Daredland joins SOWEFTA. The reason for the United Confederal Assembly and the Confederal Supreme Court possibly having approached this topic seemingly 'out of nowhere' at first most likely was in reaction to the recent large-scale pro-SOWEFTA demonstrations held around Daredland by Daredi migrants from Edereon who came to visit the homeland and compatriots.

NEW VESVAI BROADCASTING

DEVELOPING: Protests By Opponents Of The Same-Sex Civil Union Law In New Vesvai Escalating

Image

After New Vesvai's Parliament passed the polarizing same-sex civil union bill by a small margin not only political opponents but also civilian opponents are letting their voices be heard. Not everyone has welcomed the legalization of same-sex civil union and opponents of the new law are now taking into the streets of national capital Perloveu and other cities around New Vesvai to demonstrate their opposition to the new law and in support of what could be described as traditional values. MPs that voted against the bill, opposition parties, political and social movements and public figures opposing same-sex civil union in New Vesvai are also taking to the streets. Many are calling it a policy brought to New Vesvai by Sunrisia, MDAA and SOWEFTA. And yet demonstrations are not being held just by the opponents of the same-sex civil union law. New Vesvai's LGBT community and their supporters are also pouring out into the streets to celebrate the new law and also hold counter-protests against those denying the LGBT their civil rights. Local authorities around New Vesvai are instructing law enforcement to watch over the protests and uphold public order.

Sunrisian LGBT Celebrates The Legalization/Recognition Of Same-Sex Civil Unions In New Vesvai

Image

The Sunrisian LGBT have taken to the streets today in the national capital Orentan and other cities around the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia such as Aestin, Lucera, Ucinda and many others, in order to express solidarity with the LGBT of New Vesvai and celebrate the historic legalization/recognition of same-sex civil unions in that country. Additionally, these street marches and demonstrations are meant to show support for the LGBT of New Vesvai and proponents of LGBT rights in New Vesvai against those currently protesting in New Vesvai against the passage of the law recognizing same-sex civil unions. Members of the Sunrisian LGBT believe that this is only the beginning and soon enough New Vesvai will fully legalize same-sex marriage in the same way as other countries of MDAA, SOWEFTA and the Corentian bloc have done long ago.

President Sálût Érátân, a Conservative but having claimed not to be against LGBT rights, or members of his administration have yet to congratulate New Vesvai with this major advance and milestone in civil rights. However, over at the Convet of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia, separate parties and lawmakers from separate parties, including some from the governing coalition and some from the opposition, have congratulated New Vesvai on this historic decision and have even brought over LGBT flags and symbols of other sexual minorities over to the Convet. Some have expressed hope that another MDAA member and aspiring SOWEFTA member Daredland will soon follow down the same path, but have also added that the country has to do it in its' own time, when it is ready, but it also should be reasonably encouraged to take that step.

LGBT march held in Jugac calling for recognition of same-sex civil unions in Baggnagia in the same way as in New Vesvai

Image

JUGAC, BAGGNAGIA – Capital Jugac has become a location for the second LGBT Prime March in Baggnagia. It was provoked or rather inspired by the passage of a law in New Vesvai which recognizes same-sex civil unions. Although this is not still on the same level as the legality of marriage it still a major advance for LGBT rights in New Vesvai. This event has once again opened up the debate of LGBT rights in Baggnagia. Baggnagian LGBT community and those supporting them are demanding for the Baggnagian government to once again take attention towards this issue and start making legislation that would gradually advance LGBT rights in Baggnagia to the standard of freest nations. Some are even using that slogan that since Baggnagia is in an alliance with such an LGBT-friendly nation as Sunrisia and Sunrisian influence is widely accepted in Baggnagia in many parts of life then the LGBT standards should likewise be "adopted." To voice their concern the LGBT and their supporters have organized a second large Pride March in Baggnagian capital Jugac. The current Baggnagian government including President, Prime Minister and the Chamber of Deputies hold a neutral stance towards LGBT issues having fluctuated regarding their stance towards the rights of sexual minorities.

West Zilveren Berg Hosts A Meeting Between Emissary For Adversary Exchanges (EAE) Of Sunrisia Rétrî Síntâ And Minister Of Foreign Affairs Of Oblaren And Herbora Nicholas Vicina in New Kengara

West Zilveren Berg is once again hosting Emissary for Adversary Exchanges (EAE) of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Rétrî Síntâ and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora Nicholas Vicina in New Kengara for talks. These are the second talks between Sunrisian and Union representatives in West Zilveren Berg in a short while, with the last talks having brought any results. The previous talks were taking place when the Union of Oblaren and Herbora wanted to negotiate an externally proposed neutral status for the Sovereign State of Vesvai or a reunified Vesvaite state in case of reunification with New Vesvai in order to guarantee security on the Island of Vesvai and the region, as the Union did not feel comfortable with the prospect of Sunrisian or MDAA troops or any kind of military infrastructure being on the Union's border. Even though those talks did not work out and the Union's wishes were not satisfied West Zilveren Berg still committed itself to helping resolve regional or any kind of international tensions through further mediation. This time, after the Sovereign State of Vesvai and Sunrisia signed a new Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA). which prolongs Sunrisian military presence in Vesvai for an undetermined period and stations up to 40,000 military personnel there, which has once again caused a negative Union response for its security, Chief Secretary of the State of West Zilveren Berg Gerrit Visser invited the Union and Sunrisian sides to once again negotiate. Even though it is once again Sunrisian Emissary for Adversary Exchanges and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oblaren and Herbora Nicholas Vicina meeting in New Kengara, the difference this time is, is that last the time the position of the Sunrisian Emissary is held by Rétrî Síntâ, who has since succeeded his predecessor Véc Párītĕr, the Sunrisian representative in the previous talks, in the position.

Emissary for Adversary Exchanges (EAE) of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Rétrî Síntâ has travelled to his first foreign "mission", you could say, since having recently been appointed in the Special Envoy position. Emissary for Adversary Exchanges Rétrî Síntâ has arrived in West Zilveren Berg under the invitation of Chief Secretary Gerrit Visser of West Zilveren Berg to hold talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs Nicholas Vicina of Oblaren and Herbora. This the second meeting in West Zilveren Berg between the Emissary for Adversary Exchanges (EAE) of Sunrisia and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Oblaren and Herbora in a short while, except last time such talks happened, the position of Emissary for Adversary Exchanges (EAE) of Sunrisia was held by Véc Párītĕr. Also like last time, the talks are happening by the initiative of Oblaren and Herbora which reached out to West Zilveren Berg with a request to convince Sunrisia into talks, after which the Sunrisian side told the West Zilveren government to tell the government of Oblaren and Herbora that our country would agree to them. The current talks are said to be focused on the continued tensions on the Island of Vesvai, which have increased yet against after Vesvai and Sunrisia signed a Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA), which prolonged the Sunrisian military deployment to Vesvai and specified that the number of military personnel would 40,000 total, which Oblaren and Herbora sees as a threat on its' border. Possibly, the sides might also discuss how to avoid the continuation of frequent incidents in the international waters and the airspace around the Island of Vesvai, which has nearly led to a number of direct military clashes, with one such incident having had resulted in a naval skirmish some time ago. Further incidents have been avoided since, but only barely.

Another Union-Sunrisian Meeting Takes Place In West Zilveren Berg

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora Nicholas Vicina has arrived in New Kengara, West Zilveren Berg for second talks between the Union and Sunrisia. Under the mediation of Chief Secretary of the State of West Zilveren Berg Gerrit Visser, once again the Foreign Minister will be meeting with Sunrisian Emissary for Adversary Exchanges (EAE), except last time that position was held by diplomat Véc Párītĕr, but he has since been succeeded in the position by another diplomat Rétrî Síntâ. So technically even though this will be a second Union-Sunrisian meeting in a short while, it will be the first time the Foreign Minister is meeting with Emissary for Adversary Exchanges (EAE) Rétrî Síntâ. Minister of Foreign Affairs Nicholas Vicina said that even though the last time the talks had failed there's a chance for something coming out of these ones because the other side is represented by a different envoy albeit with identical orders and overall the important thing is to at least keep talking which the Sunrisians so far are agreeing to do at least through the mediation of West Zilveren Berg.

Government scandal: Members of Openness caught with foreign sponsorship

Office of Prosecutor General with help of Creperian intelligence agencies find out that Prime Minister Domm Gudēn and Openness did receive foreign sponsorship during time in office

Image

A major government scandal is unfolding in the Third Federal Republic of Creperia. The Office of Prosecutor general has announced that members of the Creperian government have been receiving outside funding from currently undeclared foreign sources. The information comes from Creperian intelligence agencies which have passed the gathered information over to the Office of Prosecutor General. The mentioned foreign sources could have been foreign countries, foreign organizations or any of the like. This information might be revealed in greater detail as new updates will be coming. The members of the Creperian government which have received these outside funds are specifically Prime Minister Domm Gudēn and other members of the Openness movement which makes up the biggest part of the coalition in government as the winner of the last parliamentary election. Prime Minister Domm Gudēn is the leader of the Openness movement. The Office of Prosecutor General states that this information has now brought a case against the Prime Minister and Openness not just for corruption, but also for possible treason. Also according to information given to the Office of Prosecutor General, the Creperian intelligence agencies did not find the same information on foreign funding in the cases of other parties in the government coalition such as Opposition Alliance – New Nationalists, the Homeland Party of Creperia, the Union Party of Creperia or any of the current opposition parties.

No Agreement Reached In Talks In West Zilveren Berg Apart From Verbal Declarations To Avoid Incidents Around The Island Of Vesvai

The talks between Emissary for Adversary Exchanges (EAE) of the Nationalist Republic of Sunrisia Rétrî Síntâ and Minister of Foreign Affairs Nicholas Vicina of Oblaren and Herbora in West Zilveren Berg have concluded. In a follow-up press briefing, Emissary for Adversary Exchanges Rétrî Síntâ stated that no big breakthrough was made, which was not seen as a surprise by anyone. According to the Emissary, the other side once again brought up security assurances that it wanted, which were similar to the ones that the Union side was asking for during the last talks in West Zilveren Berg. Those supposed security assurances would have included Sunrisia giving the Union a clear timetable of its' military withdrawal from Vesvai and also trying to somehow convince the Sovereign State of Vesvai or the future reunified Vesvaite state in case of a merger with New Vesvai that it would have to be a neutral and demilitarized state. And just like last time, Sunrisia declined these demands. Also, like last time, there was a brief discussions about Sunrisian sanctions against the Union of Oblaren and Herbora, however, the result was pretty much the same, as Emissary Rétrî Síntâ said there were no new positive developments that would warrant Sunrisia lifting any of its' sanctions against Oblaren and Herbora. However, unlike last time, there did seem to be at least some breakthrough made, as both sides agreed to avoid incidents in the international waters and the international airspace, especially around the Island of Vesvai, as there has been one naval skirmish in the past, where fire was opened and warships were damaged or destroyed, and afterwards there have been a frequent close-calls, especially between the navies of both countries, where an armed escalation nearly followed. Therefore, the sides have agreed to at least avoid that, although it had only remained in a form of a verbal agreement and there is not guarantee new incidents would not happen in the future, although both sides promised to try.

  • DEVELOPING: Government scandal unfolding in Creperia as Office of Prosecutor General of Creperia, with information from Creperian Intelligence, accuses Prime Minister Domm Gudēn of Creperia and members of the Openness movement, the largest part of the current coalition in Creperia, of receiving foreign funding.

Union-Sunrisian Talks In West Zilveren Berg End Only With Partial Results

Talks between Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora Nicholas Vicina and Sunrisian Emissary for Adversary Exchanges (EAE) Rétrî Síntâ in New Kengara, West Zilveren Berg have ended. Afterwards the Foreign Minister and the Sunrisian representative gave their separate press briefings. Foreign Minister Nicholas Vicina said that just like last time Sunrisia failed to acknowledge and respect the concerns that the Union had over Sunrisian or MDAA troops being present in Vesvai on the Union's border. The Sunrisian side declined to give any security assurances about when the 40,000 Sunrisian troops would leave Vesvai and the proposal to convince Vesvai whether the current Sovereign State or the reunified one with New Vesvai to become a neutral and demilitarized one. There were also talks about sanctions but Sunrisia declined to negotiate their removal either once again not giving clear explanations for why the Union deserved them. Or giving their own explanations that did not match reality. And yet the Foreign Minister said the current talks were slightly more productive than the past one because the sides at least discussed how concerning it was that there have been so many frequent incidents happening in the international waters and airspace around the Island of Vesvai. Once there already was an armed naval skirmish and the incidents that followed could have led to the repetition of that situation or even to a break out of a larger war. Should these incidents continue the risk always remains. Thus the sides agreed to at least try to avoid provoking each other to defuse the tensions in that way.

West Zilveren Berg Declares It Will Continue To Attempt To Defuse Tensions On The Island Of Vesvai

Chief Secretary of the State of West Zilveren Berg Gerrit Visser has commented on the second Union-Sunrisian talks held in New Kengara. The head of government of West Zilveren Berg said that the country is "satisfied" that the current talks managed to establish at least some form of understanding between the sides, from what it looks like, and said that it was progress compared to what had happened in the previous talks, where absolutely no agreement or understanding was reached. Chief Secretary Gerrit Visser said that West Zilveren Berg will continue to fulfil its' mission of a neutral mediator in international conflicts and will further initiate talks that could lead to the defusing of tensions on the Island of Vesvai and other regions of the world.

Coalition collapses: Opposition Alliance – New Nationalists, the Homeland Party of Creperia and the Union Party of Creperia withdraw

Opposition Alliance – New Nationalists, the Homeland Party of Creperia and the Union Party of Creperia jointly leave coalition with the Openness movement

Image

It appears that only during today's early morning did the Office of the Prosecutor General of Creperia accused Prime Minister Domm Gudēn and the Openness movement led by him to have received foreign funds when the Creperian government has already turned into a "sinking ship." Opposition Alliance – New Nationalists, the Homeland Party of Creperia and the Union Party of Creperia have jointly announced that they are withdrawing from the governing coalition with the Openness movement and moving into the opposition. The Openness movement is now left on its own although it does not have a constitutional majority due to not having won the parliamentary election with 50% or more. Which is why the Openness movement is required to form a new coalition with some other political forces. And yet given the accusations of corruption and foreign sponsorship the question now stands how many political forces in the National Assembly will actually be willing to associate itself with the Openness movement in any way. Thus at the current moment Openness is left with the dilemmas of both a requirement to form a new coalition and also how to respond to the accusations against it by both the Office of Prosecutor General itself and by the Creperian intelligence agencies. Given this situation experts are predicting a political and constitutional crisis for Creperia if the situation is not resolved soon. Prime Minister Domm Gudēn has not yet appeared in public since the scandal began and neither has President Jall Cvīcli yet commented on anything.

Vesvai's Government Announces Plans To Create the Committee For The Inter-Vesvaite Relations And Peaceful Reunification

Vesvai's government has revealed plans to establish the Committee for the Inter-Vesvaite Relations and Peaceful Reunification. As the name appropriately suggests it will be dedicated solely to the affairs and issues related to the reunification of the Sovereign State of Vesvai and New Vesvai. It will be an equivalent of New Vesvai's Ministry of Unification which was also solely created to handle the affairs of the Vesvaite reunification. Thus the future Committee will be directly cooperating with New Vesvai's Ministry of Unification to bring about the goal that was approved on both sides of the border. And yet there is a notable difference in the fact that the Sovereign State of Vesvai has chosen to create only a Committee instead of a full-fledged independent Ministry like in New Vesvai but it was not explained why such a course was chosen. Neither was it explained which Ministry would the future Committee be under or whether it would somehow operate independently. In order to create the Committee there will be a requirement for a parliamentary vote. Afterwards there will be the appointment of Chairperson and members of the Committee.

Vesvai Welcomes Sunrisian Persistence During The Second Union-Sunrisian Meeting in West Zilveren Berg

Vesvai's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has reacted to the Union-Sunrisian talks in West Zilveren Berg with the expression of appreciation for Sunrisian persistence. The Foreign Ministry said it welcomed Sunrisia's respect for its own principles and for the interests of the Sovereign State of Vesvai by refusing to give a third party state promises on when Sunrisian troops would leave Vesvai or agreeing to the proposal of imposing outside neutral and demilitarized status on the Sovereign State of Vesvai or a future reunified Vesvaite state. The Foreign Ministry noted these bilateral questions of military cooperation could solely be discussed only by the Sovereign State of Vesvai and Sunrisia. As for the neutral or aligned status it will be something that the Sovereign State of Vesvai will decide on its own or together with New Vesvai as both nations move forward with reunifying into a single nation. The current status quo is that the Sovereign State of Vesvai is technically a neutral state only cooperating militarily with Sunrisia and New Vesvai while New Vesvai on its own is already a member of the MDAA military bloc.

NEW VESVAI BROADCASTING

New Vesvai Welcomes The Planned Creation Of The Committee For The Inter-Vesvaite Relations And Peaceful Reunification In The Sovereign State Of Vesvai

[blocktext][size=110]New Vesvai's Parliament both the governing coalition and the opposition have applauded plans to create the Committee for the Inter-Vesvaite Relations and Peaceful Reunification which was announced by the Sovereign State of Vesvai. It is an open equivalent of New Vesvai's Ministry of Unification and like New Vesvai's Ministry of Unification will be created solely to handle the process of reunifying the Sovereign State of Vesvai with New Vesvai. The initiative was applauded by New Vesvai's Prime Minister Fila Nemo and also New Vesvai's Minister of Unification Tori Deca who declared that she is looking forward to begin the cooperation with future Committee to achieve the goal of reunification. The Sovereign State of Vesvai declared to be going in a different direction than New Vesvai and instead of creating a Ministry dedicated to reunifying both Vesvaite states the nation will be creating a Committee which it is still unclear whether it will operate independently or under some existing Ministry of Vesvai's cabinet. And yet New Vesvai's government declared it sees no problem in cooperating whether with a Ministry or a Committee as long as cooperation channels are established and the common goal is reached.

Union Declares That Due To Lack Of Any Security Assurances It Would Be Forced To Move Forward With Precautions To Ensure Its Own Defense

In a fresh reaction to the second Union-Sunrisian talks in West Zilveren Berg which began yesterday and their results were announced today Prime Minister Jonathan Mollisal gave a quick response determining the Union's further course of action:

"[U]sually people ask to start with the negative before the positive but I would like to change things around this time. The positive which everyone is now talking about is that not only are we talking at least as the Minister of Foreign Affairs had noted yesterday but that we had actually at least seemed to come to our first mutual understanding. Us and the Sunrisians agreed that we don't want another naval clash or an aerial clash or a border clash so we had agreed that these frequent incident in the international waters and airspace around the Island of Vesvai has got to stop. Yes it was only a verbal agreement but that is a start because before we couldn't even agree on that. We practically walked away with nothing the last time. So at least it seems like we are verbally trying to understand each other. And yet it is still a little uneasy that the other side could be saying one thing today and another tomorrow but whatever.

Now for the negative. We are not pleased that our security concerns are being ignored. We are not pleased that the Sunrisians don't want to talk about when they are going to with their troops from our border and they don't even want to discuss at least jointly convincing the Sovereign State of Vesvai or the future reunified Vesvaite state that its neutrality and demilitarized status would be better for the stability on the Island of Vesvai and for regional security. To achieve this we are ready to provide security assurances from our side. But the other side doesn't even want to hear about it. So I feel like I will be forced to ask the Parliament to approve of the increase of the military budget, sign that bill, convince the President to sign that bill and then have the entire Herbora's part of the Union of Oblaren and Herbora turned into one of the most militarized zones on the planet because we're left with no choice. 40,000 troops in Vesvai combined with Vesvai's own military could make up a really decent invasion force. We are forced to react. Also the fact that the Sunrisians don't want to discuss the lifting of their sanctions against us is also a demonstration of bad will from the other side and I will start saying that openly. The diplomats won't say it so i will."

Council Of 3 Holds Meeting On Regional Integration

Image

Secretary General of the Council of 3 Sita Nobara is presiding over another Council of 3 meeting with New Vesvai's, Daredland's and West Zilveren Berg's representatives in the Council at its headquarters in Daredland. The current meeting was dedicated to the issues of regional integration including political, economic and social. Secretary General and other representatives of New Vesvai which is a nation that is a member of both MDAA and SOWEFTA have expressed their support to Daredi representatives in Daredland's road towards joining SOWEFTA. New Vesvai's representatives said they supported Daredland's membership in MDAA and will hold the same position on Daredland's membership in SOWEFTA. They reassured that since Daredland successfully joined MDAA the nation will likewise succeed in joining SOWEFTA. In the meantime all participants of the Council meeting expressed their respect to West Zilveren representatives regarding the neutral and non-bloc status of West Zilveren Berg. But at the same time discussions were made how relations could be deepened not only among the three nations of the Council in their trilateral relationship but also how MDAA and SOWEFTA could further develop bilateral relationships with West Zilveren Berg in a deeper way than what the current agreement provide.
