The answer to that question depends on a lot of factors, for example the type of weapon used to liquidate the target; but also logistical factors such as cost-sharing initiatives and how many of said weapon is produced, cost of carrying that weapon to battlefield, etc.

Big shout out to Mercy! Mercy is a an Inyurstan Stripe-necked rattlesnakes (Crotalus pelicuosa) in our three-year-running radio tracking program. Last year Mercy both gave birth to fourteen live neonates (an exhausting, energy-depleting maneuver) and unfortunately showed signs of a fungal infection. My fellow scientists and I had concerns that she would make it through the winter dry season. `

However, early last month one of my graduate assistants witnessed with a large food bulge, presumably either an agouti or rabbit. This morning we came into the field to find that she has recently shed, and is looking very lively and healthy!

Even in the wilderness of Inyursta, life is very hard for these cryptic predators. Seeing survivorship even in the face of challenging life events and disease is extremely positive news for the population!

Location for Coalition Lunar Base Selected

Divouga, Guadalupador "After careful review and deliberation," the Guadalupadorian and Roman governments have jointly decided that the International Freedom Coalition's first continuously inhabited base on the lunar surface will be at the Lunar South Pole, along the rim of Shackleton Crater. After several redesigns of new spaceship hardware, the Imperial Aeronautics and Space Administration is preparing for Orbital Test Flights of new rockets that will have near full reusability in which both the First and Second Stage boosters will be able to descend back to earth after each launch. With the design stage completed, the next step will be going into building prototypes of these spacecraft. The target launch for the prototypes will be in 180 days, according to sources inside IASA.

Staying off the web, has been customary for Dirigeants of Kirishima in the past with the exception of Dirigeant Kiryuin. Her time online did nothing but reinforced the rationale behind it. Nonetheless, I feel it is still an important medium to relay information and thoughts. Considering how not too long ago, it seemed like the normalcy of life slowed significantly, it is more justifiable that connections are made where possible.

I would like to take the time while on here to thank Gam Sol-mi for her service as the Kirishinan representative to the International Freedom Coalition. When I was the foreign minister under Kasuga's administration, I worked very closely with her, as I did with every ambassador, during her posting. From her exposure during Punch debates and her pivotal role in calming down the Remnant and New Roman skirmish in low-earth orbit. I saw in her the same potential that Kasuga did and I've seen her grow so much. I am so proud to have her on board as my successor to the office of Foreign Minister!

It has already been stationed at the Launch Pad at Space Launch Complex 1 (SLC-1) here at the George A. Loak Memorial Space Center. our facility is state of the art and is named after Former Supreme Emperor George A. Loak, the immediate predecessor to the current Supreme Emperor. {Opinion} GENA: Absorbing Alliances at What Cost?

Throughout history, the world has seen large alliances rise and fall though in recent memory no one organization has captured so much attention as the Global Entente of Nations and Alliances, a relatively new and burgeoning alliance that claims to be a successor to a fabled "World Assembly." It claims to stand for diplomatic cooperation between states of all differing backgrounds and ideologies, in order to ensure a more peaceful and democratic system can flourish. A noble goal for sure, but it seems lacking in practice as GENA is seemingly focused on absorbing, and annexing smaller alliances of countries in an effort to make itself the largest alliance in the world.

Some of these "mergers" are indeed open and free processes, the result of fair negotiations between GENA and it's new branch; but there lies a dark underside to the giant organization, one of backdoor dealing between alliance leaders and outright takeovers of smaller organizations in the name of just getting bigger. The countries that lead GENA, Southeast Marajarbia and Aursi insist that the intent of GENA is to keep on expanding like a sort of blob across the world. There is no peace until every nation is under the GENA fold. There is no other central goal than expansion no matter what the cost is, and it'll break GENA in the long run. In recent days, GENA merged with the League of Independent States, an organization diametrically opposed to democratic rule of law and a rules-based world, something that GENA claims to fight for. Why did they merge with LIS you may ask? The answer has been clear and has been reiterated in this very article several times before.

Is GENA destined to conquer the world through its "mergers?" The short and comforting answer is: No. There are indeed alliances and states that have resisted the assimilation of GENA and its predecessor, the GCN. The Kalisight Treaty Organization is the first alliance that seemingly comes to mind in terms of attempting to keep GENA in check, as well as the resistance of the anti-slavery alliance AFAASA much to the chagrin of GENA's host-nation, the Marjarbian Federation. Where does this leave the International Freedom Coalition? The Coalition, it can be said has no intention of being annexed by any large alliance currently. I am confident that the IFC will continue to exist long after GENA collapses in on itself through inevitable in-fighting, with the one country that enriches itself at the cost of its many client states being one of the first to fall into chaos.

Oh, how the mighty shall fall.

MEDITERRANEAN NAVAL TASK FORCES HAVE BEEN DIVERTED TO PROTECT CIVILIAN SHIPPING, CARGO; ADMIRALTY CONFIRMS.

At the 10:50 press briefing this morning, the Antarctican Admiralty has confirmed the Deployment of an Carrier task force that was attached the the Navy's Mediterranean Theatre of operations command has been assigned with the task of maintaining order and peace within the Mediterranean, as well as to protect civilians shipping within the region.

This decision no doubt came from the outburst of what the admiralty quotes as "An anti-slaver crusade" Against the Ukraine by the Advocates for Abolition And Against Slavery (AFAASA), which will no doubt cause major disruptions to local trade and shipping. As such, the supposed goal of this task force is to maintain the status of "Business as usual" for shipping and logistics companies within the Mediterranean and black sea region respectively.

However, recent events have also began to arise that may threaten the integrity of the task force already. With perhaps the most daunting one being the reports of Ukrainian forces utilizing Slaves as human shields for important military installations. To which the admiralty responds...
"Whilst we acknowledge the less then desirable acts the Ukrainians have done, we urge both sides in this conflict to not over-escalate the situation, for it will bring dire consequences."
The representative has refused to elaborate further.

Depending on how the flight goes, it will decide if a second flight is needed or if we will move onto the next stage, which will be the Suborbital Test Flight of 2nd Stage Booster Serial Number Gamma-1. If these tests go well, next will be a Full Stack test of Boosters Delta 2 and Gamma 2 in the first Orbital Flight Test of the new Flight System.

GFAM Prepares for Moon Base While New Space Competition Heats Up

Divouga, Guadalupador Aerospace Minister Ronalde Ludens announced today that Avijanos Heavy Industry and Elsiynthi Aerospace Technologies were rewarded contracts on the design and construction of future modules for the IFC Lunar Base, while the first Guadalupadorian habitation and service modules would be made and deployed from "off the shelf" parts and modules utilized on previous missions. Ludens said that he was confident that launching and landing the first modules near Shackleton Crater could be done before the end of the year. "We've done this sort of thing several times before, but now we're here to stay, and from here we have an eye on Mars in the very near future." Ludens remarked at his press briefing.
When presented with the announcement that the Nifonese space program set a goal to land humans on Mars by the end of the decade, the Minister responded: "It's a rather high goal for the Nifonese, a country that hasn't put that much time or expertise into a manned space program as we or our compatriots in the Roman and Shazite Space Programs have." According to GFAM, the Nifonese space program has yet to develop a successful super-heavy launch vehicle dedicated to bringing humans to the Martian surface and back to Earth, though according to Shogun Maki Kojiro, that may change in the near future. Ludens was also asked about the implications of the Nifonese space program on Guadalupadorian national security, Ludens told the journalist to refer to their question to the Minister of Defense before remarking that while the Nifonese Space Program was primarily military-based there is a chance through Kojiro's remarks that the push to land a human on Mars could be a wholly peaceful and scientific endeavor. One of the final questions asked at the briefing was on the possibility of scientific cooperation between the Shogunate of Nifon and the Federal Union: "Not at this time." was all Ludens said before wrapping up.
