Not really. This is one of the few wars were there's a very clear good and bad side, and Russia isn't the good guy here.

And that doesn't change the fact that the Russians have been conducting mass rape in Ukraine, including of children, often forcing their families to watch.

doubtful anyone with a ukraine flag knows who Tetiana Chornovol is but she's not exactly pro-russian

(also perhaps more horrific but the child on videotape was most likely his own since by most accounts he got a car seat violation in Krasnodar in early March and his military service seems to have ended in 2018)

Ukraine isn't a haven of freedom and democracy, but Russia is the principal aggressor for invading a sovereign country and instituting a genocide. One can recognize Ukraine's war crimes and still take a strong stand against Russia's invasion.

What exactly would I personally take a "strong stand?" Finger-wagging online might give me a little oxytocin shot but I prefer to reflect on the universal flaws of humanity (including myself) that lead to these situations.
