Companies can do whatever they want. There is no requirements to be a judge at the federal level.

No transit agency or airline is required to require masks. The ruling can be appealed but that does not seem likely.
It should be appealed, because it puts workers and passengers at risk of catching the virus, leading them to take time off work which could inadvertently lose their job due to a lack of strong worker's rights n the US.
These actions have serious consequences.

Masks are not required anywhere else but transit. What is the point?
It doesn’t seem like it will be given the TSA has already said they won’t enforce masks anymore. It’s now up to the individual agency.

Because transit systems are small closed spaces leading to the easy transmission of the virus? I mean, it's quite obvious and logical.

You understand perfectly well. Stop pretending to be ignorant. It doesn’t seem like it will be given the TSA has already said they won’t enforce masks anymore. It’s now up to the individual agency.
Of course the TSA doesn't care about real dangers, their job is just security theatre.

I asked you the rationale and logic behind Metro North and the subway saying they will still require masks but Amtrak won’t.

The rationale is that masks help prevent the spread of covid-19. The possibility that you will get off the subway and rush out into the streets to grab random strangers and demand that they breathe directly on your face doesn't mean that the subway was wrong to tell you to wear a mask.

Again dodging. That’s not what I said. Explain to me the rationale of needing a mask on the subway but once I board a train to say Washington DC I no longer need it.

Yes federal judges can and have been impeached. To impeach because you don’t like their rulings is an extremely dangerous door to open.
It’s a good door to open (alternatively, ratfuck the courts ‘till they lose a bunch of power)
This woman is a political operative in a judge’s robes, with insane amounts of power and next to no accountability, and like pretty much every trump-appointed judge, her goal is the destruction of the administrative state (which is most of the functioning of the country)
You can, of course, take a seat and watch as a bunch of federalist society goons take a buzzsaw to the normal functions of government but this strikes me as a bad idea!
