Promotion of Warden-Constable Luca to Warden-Commander.

Ever vigilant from the shadows. Unyielding from the task at hand.

If there's one thing the Grey Wardens relish, then it's a challenge. Talking about how R/D's numerical goalposts have shifted is frankly overdone at this point because all we know is that it means we must do more and improve what is already formidable––as we have always done, time and time again. In doing so recently, we've sought out new heights to reach by widening our directives in the fight against the blight. The Order now rests across 3 regions, nearly 150 delegate endorsements, and just shy of 900 residents along with a revitalized foreign affairs effort. All of this accomplished and we remain far from satisfied. There is always more to be done, always more to succeed.

Critical to assisting with our recent expansion has been one individual who I'm sure needs no introduction by now within the military sphere. Winning both the Sir Lans and Karputsk awards in the 2021 Defender Awards, they have dedicated themselves to defending in the last year with unmatched efforts and technical skills that most could only dream of. They have undoubtedly taken the spot of the Order's fastest chaser––and the fastest chaser in defending at large––while bringing balanced perspective and help to any major operation necessary. Internally, too, their work has helped the Order reach its current point with innovative regional programs and fierce dedication to our goals. I have no doubt this addition to our Command will be only the beginning of more to come in an unparalleled new time for the Order.

I am beyond excited to announce the immediate promotion of Luca to Warden-Commander

Let's be real, you all knew it was coming. Luca is the best of the best, the unstoppable defender and innovative problem solver who can only add to an already disturbingly talented Warden Command. Their talents in region-building, tech development, and undeniable military prowess have been a huge contribution to TGW in their time here along with their wit and fantastic shitposting ability. They have already brought so much energy to our internal development and the same to every major lib in the last year that I'm certain there's little they can't do. Such a versatile and all-around amazing player can only add to what our Command lacks currently to ensure our long-term success. With all of that in mind, I am personally incredibly excited to see what goals we'll smash next with Luca in our highest leadership because I'm confident we'll only continue to build from here.

I could write a fucking essay and a half, and it still wouldn’t be enough to go over not just how much Luca has brought to The Grey Wardens since joining us, but also just how much I value them as a member of our region, our military, and most importantly our community. They are a tireless ambassador of our cause, one of the consistently most active people across The Order, and someone I was hand-down confident would make Commander from the moment we were fortunate enough to see them enlist.
