Hunting animals in Ayermani is legal but strictly limited to Ayermanian citizens only and only hunting for the purpose of acquiring meat for self-consumption is allowed.Furthermore,Ayermani hunting law states that only a limited number of wild boars, certain birds and deers can be hunted.
Those who intend to hunt are required to submit an application for a hunting permit with the Ayermani Wildlife Department and Ayermani Federal Police, which is issued separately by the two bodies, and only valid for 3 months at a fee of 1500 Ayermani Dollars (AD$),which is about US$500,each.
A valid gun license (issued only by the police at a fee of AD$5000 (US$1600)per gun, with a 6-month validity period) is also required.Trapping or poisoning any wildlife is not allowed nor is hunting for commercial purpose.
Under Ayermani law, illegal hunters can be jailed up to 5 years, publicly caned and fined up to AD$1 million (US$300,000).
According to the Ayermani Wildlife Department records,in 2013 alone,729 illegal hunters (725 locals,4 foreigners) were caught and convicted, and a total of AD$5 million (US$1.6 million) in fines was collected. As of 30 October 2014 there are 1,011 people (1,004 locals,7 foreigners) currently serving jail time for illegal hunting.

Many Borrocans hunt to survive, due to getting fed up with Obama Bread. Once they are captured, though, they are beaten to death with hard Obama Bread loafs by their own children.

Hunting is not only legal it is encouraged, also you do not need a permit. You are free to hunt and fish as you please. As a matter of fact we actually even breed animals to release into the wild just for the sake of hunting them. Killing pregnant animals is heavily frowned upon though and is subject to heavy fines.

Hunting is relatively common in countryside areas, and also being often a touristic attraction for urban people that can go to hunting reserves and certain farms where they can practice it.
However, hunting is also heavy regulated due to environmental issues and preventing animal cruelty. For example, it is up to national regulations the hunting seasons, the maximum size of hunting reserves (which generally are located in the outermost parts of the environmental reserves) compared to the total size of certain area, the hunting practices that can be done (for example, hunting using animals to chase and bite the other animals is forbidden, using not appropriate firearm calibers is also forbidden due to prevent the animals from having a painful death). Not following this regulations may result in heavy fines, plus other corresponding criminal sanctions. There are also frequently a fez regulations from the provincial governments, although not very significant ones.
There's also the fact that to hunt with a firearm, you will need a gun license. Which is not difficult to obtain, and can be done by anyone who's sane and have a clean background, and owning firearms is a constitutional right of the people, but may take a few time and must be previously done. Otherwise, you may be commiting a crime. Most of the countries gun culture isn't related to hunting, rather is more related to a culture of self-defense, another sports involving firearms and national defense.
A few regions had banned hunting recently, however most of these bans were lifted soon after protests from hunters and farmers, plus the appearance of problems related to certain animals overpopulation. A Central Imperial Court decision also decided that hunting can not be banned by the national government or the provincial ones, which can only set up some regulations, rather just the counties and municipalities can do that, considering a disposion in the Constitution about the right to self-rule to a certain point of the regions.

They use dragons to hunt random people and animals.

The Undercity, due to her toxic environment, all animals have gone extinct except for Pests (rodents and cockroaches in particular) and the Chemtech Monkey-eating Eagle, the latter being hunted down is dishonorable in PhilT'y culture.

However, deep sea creatures such as squids, octopi, and Cthulhu are common delicacies for your average PhilT'y citizen. Hunted down using chemtech induced equipments, they are definitely safe to eat.

Using falcons to hunt pigeons is permitted.
There are plans to fill the parks with deer and hunting permits will be used in certain seasons to control their numbers.

There are plans to introduce farms in Millbed and so rabbiting will become part of the culture.

Hunting is perfectly allowed in Andronya, you just need a hunting license that is usually permanent, once you pass a course and get your license you're allowed to hunt freely. You are expected to be aware of breeding and rut seasons, not shoot vulnerable or endangered species and to hunt responsibly and following the rules of Fair Chase, Failing to comply with this can result in you losing your license, fines and maybe even be restricted on your gun rights and jail time.

If you're hunting in private property that is not your own you are also expected to have written consent from the owner to hunt within his/her property.

Minors can hunt if they are under the guidance of an adult with a hunting license, and the adult will be held responsible for any of the actions of the minor during the hunt.

Russians are allowed to hunt based on license, season, and tagging systems, designed to prevent overhunting. Protected species are illegal to hunt. Self-Defense animal slaying is allowed regardless of license or species (except whereas the species does not pose a plausible threat to life), as is harvesting of its materials for personal use, but sale of the skin is illegal, as enforced using mandatory reporting and marking of skins. Investigations will also be made to check for signs of charging or dangerous proximity to ensure it was a true defense killing, though the burden of evidence is on the state to prove otherwise.

Hunters are subject to property laws when navigating the wilderness in search of their game.

Minors cannot hunt unsupervised, nor at all below the age of 7. They cannot carry their gun while mobile, even supervised, until they either are 12 or have been issued child hunting licenses for 3 consecutive seasons.

Hunting is a very common practice in Rifta, with all manner of citizens engaging in the sport.

Hunting in Rifta, unless you are incredibly poor and are doing it for food, is about the thrill, connection with the natural world, and conservation. Since more and more Earthlings are forgetting about nature and conservation, Riftans have taken it upon themselves to preserve their world before it ends up like earth.

Hunting can be performed on private land, and on specific public hunting land. Animals can only be killed at certain times of the year, depending in on the species and area.

Hunting varies depending on the animal being pursued, but generally:
-The animal must be called within range of the Hunter
-The animal must be shot lethally if possible
-If the animal is wounded, it must be found, and killed humanely.
-There is a limit to how many animals can be killed a day.
-If you find the animal, you must eat it, or donate it to someone who will. Wasting the meant is prohibited, with one exception*

Shooting young or pregnant animals is prohibited. Only certain weapons can be used on each animal. For example, the Coastal Wild Turkey can only be killed with a bow or shotgun. The use of rifles is outlawed for this species to preserve the sport. If you are 15 or older, you must attend a hunting safety course either online or on person, as well as have a hunting and fishing license.

*This is overruled by the Invasive Species Act of 1987, when it was decreed that if an animal is deemed invasive or a pest in a District (Declared by district government), or on your private property (Which is determined by a Fish & Wildlife Official), you have the ability to kill an unlimited amount, and not eat the meat if a species is overpopulating the ecosystem.

Also I’d just like to throw in my two cents on this,
Themiclesia wrote:6. Injured animals not to be shot. No archer shall make an incapacitated animal his target.

If an animal is injured and suffering, I believe you are obligated to put it out of its misery. An injured animal should not be left to suffer if you have the ability to kill it.

Hunting for food with guns is legal with a permit (usually granted on a seasonal basis apart from very plentiful creatures like rabbits and pigeons).
Falconry is also legal.

Hunting foxes or hares with dogs is illegal and punishable by a maximum of four years imprisonment.

Hunting?

Hunting in the TFBL (Technocratic Federation of Blue Lemsrow) is strictly allowed, but is required to go through a cruel Hunting Safety and Experience Exam. The HSE Exam is a 500 question test, quizzing new hunters on their knowledge of animals, how to safely hunt the animal, gun safety, proper handling of animal carcass, knowledge of the different types of mushroom and fungi, marine knowledge of at least 150 fish species and proper ways to hunt marine animals.

Once receiving the Certificate of Experienced Hunting, you are allowed to hunt in forests and rivers not designated as a reserve. But there’s also a quota of animals, a limit to put it in simple terms. 1500 is the absolute limit, but hunters are required to hunt a minimum of 10 animals per year. If task is not met, the certificate is suspended.
Guy who will most definitely ignore your signatures.

PhilTech agrees with this philosophy. Hunters and fishermen are obliged to kill any animal on sight. The inferiority of flesh must never prevail in the Undercity. Only the strong will survive.

Should a hunter wishes to save a life of an inferior flesh. It is expected of him/her to augment or transmutate this creature, suitable in the PhilT'y way of living.

The hunting practices in Diarcesia are relatively simple. The First Monarch frequently hunted as part of his recreational activities. It was said that in one of his trips, where he on the lead of his party, he frowned at the sight of his target. Before him was the 'queen' of the bunch of the animals. There, he started the first of what would later be called the "Final Countdown."
