What does Libcord have in common with the Cincinnati Bengals? WE'RE A SECOND HALF TEAM. 10 losses straight or whatever it actually was (I'm not looking lmao)? Who gives a shit. Not us. Joined late by the absolute GODGAMERS of Vincent Drake, Altmoras, and Sir Merlin, the tide began to turn. Winstreaks, 0s chases, you name it, Libcord came back for the second half to remind the darkspawn who is the fucking boss of this game. 16 tag wins, Haku's Libcord flag and Luca's tree pics routing the darkspawn straight to TRR. But the feelgoodstack hadn't even hit peak desperation yet...

Is this a fever dream on repeat? Maybe, but probably not. Seeing that their blight was being struck down more and more throughout the night, raiders hamfisted a hail mary play into the book. Japan (again). No, I didn't stutter. And no, raiders haven't gotten any originality. At least they didn't get absolutely sacked at the border before updating again though, so progress I guess?

ANYHOW they got absolute curbstomped by DEFENSIVE LINEMEN TIM, HUMANSANITY, ALTMORAS, FRENCHY, LUCA, all of whom protected the native quarterback from certain turf filled misery. With desperation like the Kansas City Chiefs, raiders found nothing but sweat and blood on the turf covered battlefield. And therein lies the 17th win.

Raiders should really get a new manager for their postgame press conferences. It's a much better angle to the reporters to just say "we won with tagging" - because let's be real. What's being remembered by the fans this update isn't just our chasing comeback, but our Nth time saving Japan. What an L for them to have even tried.

TGW withstanding the dust coughed out of the lungs of a recently revived raider faction (2022 colorized)

Good news! It wasn't Japan again!

Update got dusty today as Raiderdom tried to shake off the dust bunnies and cobwebs of inactivity over the last year. It made no difference to the Wardens, though, as the Wardens and their Libcord: For Your Protection friends outnumbered the raider foes 5:1 and cut through each occupation attempt with ease.

Honestly, raiders and defenders alike rallied for an update that everyone hoped would be much more interesting than it was. Defender senses were tingling after hours and hours of prep by raiders, and so Libcord pulled together a casual 50 defender stack this lovely Friday evening that included 18 Wardens to put a stomp on any raider efforts. Not too shabby, if you ask me. Surprisingly, the Raider Revival stack ended up being all bark and no bite when only a small collection of wolves showed up to try their luck.

With a couple of hacks and wheezes, our wolfy foe set out over the update and defenders followed close behind time and time again. It was clear the last year had left the raiders rusty as an early move and wide triggers sank all of their occupation attempts against the 50 Libcord stack. It was an okay effort by raiders, but it could do nothing to match the continually honed skills of the Wardens and their allies after staying sharp over the last year. People wondered what would happen if Raiderdom revived and defenders got lazy and I guess now we know: Not much changes, except a little dust.

tl;dr - 50 defenders, dusty raiders, no successful raids

i am surprised to see only 3 regions on the "protected" list, though. did y'all actually defend more but they didn't meet some internal criteria to make the report, or were there really only 3 jumps during update?
