But yes, there's a history of the region being contested every year since its founder ceased to exist in 2008, as attested by Sedge here. It got mainstream attention when Asgard raided it in 2012 and the SC Liberation was passed to remove its password. Since then, there's been an attempt to raid it ever year around Christmas/New Year's Eve by pretty much every raider org out there.

Minor feedbak:
Would replace "their term" with "Karp's term" in the Praising clause, simply because "their" could refer to SDF and could confuse someone until they realize it means Karp
"successes" would be better as "success" in the acknowledging clause. In same clause, would remove "together" as "cooperate" already implies togetherness.
