It is not that dramatic.

The League is a sovereign region which has the right to determine & advocate for its own values without your approval or agreement. That's not TL saying you're "dead" to it; that's basic regional governance.

Quebec's response was not dramatic, in fact it was perfectly reasonable. You don't hold government positions in regions that are notably relevant to The League, therefore he has no obligation to be mindful of your opinions. That's not meant as an insult, for the record, it's just how diplomacy works.

And I'm not gonna lie, accusing Quebec of regarding you as "dead to [him]" then calling me overkill is... Confusing lol

You are not a Leaguer resident nor a member of a defender and/or allied government. "Dead to us"? No, but not someone we are lobbying for the approval of.

What a waste of time. I don't care if the LDF or LDC or League or TGL or whatever the fuck it is feels sovereign or seeks approval. Just don't use the game's flavor-text for closing embassies as an argument for it being griefing if you want to make good arguments for embassy burning being griefing. That was my only point, because I happen to dislike griefing, and anything else put forth is missing that point.

I'm not here for this "Snark Syl then make her feel crazy" bullshit either. If I wanted that I'd still have access to the NSGP Discord.

By now you have likely read our glorious gameplay report (found here) which detailed the liberation of China by an interregional force including 20 Leaguers. If you haven't go read and it also read the reports from TGW (here), the SPSF (here), and the RRA (here) while you're at it.

But now into the good stuff,

The LDF believes in recognizing the merit and dedication of our brave [violet]-fearing soldiers when they aid us in accomplishing a truly wonderful feat. We did it after Chaylia, we did it after Warzone Europe when we not only participated in but led the effort to liberate that region from its oppressors, and most recently we did it after Trovons when we set out (at the time) turnout record and saved a region that was being pointlessly griefed.

With more records smashed and the region of China safely restored from vandalism and the senseless destruction of its embassy apparatus, we of course have seen it fit to institute a medal for this incredible operation, both for the LDF in particular and defenderdom in general. All of the individuals listed below, civilian or formal members, will be granted the following regional honor.

Furthermore, we would like to give a warm welcome to Beafroaft and Dlakisland, both of whom formally joined the LDF following their participation in the liberation as civilians. Welcome to the team!

The LDF eating Raider-Tear-Tangerine flavor from Big gay icecream

Today was a sunny day out on the updating battlefield, and raiders decided they wanted to get some fresh air and play in the sand. Personally, I don't really like sand. It's rough, coarse, etc, you get the deal. But when duty calls, duty calls. Tonight, raiders gathered a stack of over two dozen updaters to do their usual - torment an innocent region for no discernable reason.

But today we were ready. If my gut feeling (which New Makasta can attest to me having) wasn't enough, the raiders' operation rooms were about as secure as a sandcastle during high tide. Surpassing the invader stack with roughly three dozen defender updaters prepared out of Artificial Solar System, we braced to rush into the target. We weren't losing either way.

But we had a little trick up our sleeve to add some *pizzazz* to the evening. "We" being the LDF specifically of course, because we believe in helping other regions (especially our embassy friends!) whenever we can instead of kicking them down for no reason. Cruizore (myself/Quebecshire) and The Lad (New Makasta) were vigilantly prepared for a potential raid, setting a two-minute warning for Sandbox to remind ourselves and opening new windows on our Guardian nations.

106 minutes ago: Empty Promises was ejected and banned from Warzone Sandbox by Cruizore.
106 minutes ago: Region Crashers was ejected and banned from Warzone Sandbox by The Lad.

And oh boy was that fun. Makasta took down Region Crashers while I sent Empty Promises packing, and off to the Rejected Realms they went! Both of these were pre-update bans, by the way. Pretty happy with it if I do say so myself. Not only did Libcord protect an active-liberator region from invasion, but The League (and several mutual pals) protected one of our embassy regions in the most glorious way possible, banhammers and a numbers advantage regardless. May One Small Island reign supreme and eternal.

Also, a quick thank you to Apatosaurus II for cleaning up the sandbox and saving Makasta, One Small Island, and myself some work!

Also also, we defended Japan tonight after raiders tried to thorn us into Stargate! (lol) But I'm sure you'll hear more about that from our friends in the Wardens with their report!

I've only just had time to sit down at my computer after a very busy day, and wanted to take a moment to say thank you to everyone who participated in the defense of Warzone Sandbox last night.

I cannot call it an unprovoked attack, as we are a Warzone and attacks on our region do not require provocation, but it was certainly out of the blue, and without your assistance we certainly would have fallen.

So thank you to everyone who took part in our defense!

Yeesh, it has not been a good 48 hours for Lone Wolves United. If being trounced by the border control meatgrinder, Libcord turnouts, and their founder's desire to make himself look as bad as possible at all times wasn't enough, we found a way for them. For the "legendary crasher region", they have really fallen on some tough times.

For the unaware, Lone Wolves United (and their ineffectual flightless friends in The Black Hawks) attempted a raid on Warzone Sandbox a few nights ago, a region that is a valued partner, and now, officially, an ally of The League.

Warzone Sandbox and The League aren't taking that shit lying down. In addition to LWU being one more cast vote away from prohibition from all our platforms, we and our friends in Warzone Sandbox decided that they needed to learn the hard way how to get with the times and figure out an autologin.

And thus I present to you the first fulfillment of the last phrase of Section Two Clause II of The Golden Eagle Pact,

Wow, that must be pretty embarrassing.
