If you had read the statement at all, you would see that we linked to a pattern of behavior that makes our relationship incompatible. Franconia-Chiremba Accords
With The Free Nations Region

The Republic of The League and The Free Nations region are happy to announce the passage of the Fraconia–Chiremba Accords between our two regions.

The accords solidify our strong relationship in domestic and foreign affairs. In particular, we seek to bring The League’s Defense Forces and The Free Nations Defense Association closer together as friendly Defender-aligned militaries. Both the LDF and FNDA, in addition to recent Libcord liberations (such as the liberation of Trovons, where both militaries broke their operation turnout records) have worked in other venues, such as when the LDF and FNDA both led a coalition to liberate and stabilize Warzone Europe, and most recently, both were involved in the raid of Army of Freedom. We hope to continue building off of this relationship, to support each other’s military development, and continue experimentation with civilian-inclusive military tactics.

Outside of military matters, the goals of the treaty include general continuing and expansion of our current foreign affairs relationship, and we intend to build off of our World Assembly cooperation already conducted through the Partnership for Sovereignty. Lastly, our regions both have strong cultural bases and we hope to enrich that of each other with this newfound bond. We hope this treaty ushers in a new era of close partnership between our two wonderful regions.

The League's Defense Forces Foreign Report

The LDF has had an incredible month in both activity and power projection. Currently including 19 members (3 officers, 9 enlisted, 7 reserve), we have grown and gained several new members. In addition to people joining the force, both Paleocacher and East Yourtanad have been promoted from Private to Corporal for their service.

To get into specific operations, the LDF kicked off the month by organizing, coordinating, and executing a multilateral liberation of Warzone Europe which was invaded by a coalition of independent and raider forces. 8 LDF members attended the single update liberation. The LDF published a gameplay report on the operation here.

Soon after, the LDF broke an organization turnout record in Trovons, where 15 LDF members fought across 4 updates to liberate the region from invaders. This operation was particularly notable because invaders once again let their mask slip, showing their true colors as they banned the native Founder from their own region in their attempt to maintain illegitimate control over a region they had no business being in to begin with.

Changing course to offensive action, the LDF once again demonstrated its ability to lead interregional operations with Operation Pacifists of Tyranny, where it led an invasion on Army of Freedom. Being a long term occupation, this operation remains underway but has made great progress, especially thanks to our friends in the New Pacific Order. The report on the initial invasion can be found here.

Last but certainly not least for the month, the LDF participated in the liberations of The New Order Last Days of Europe. The LDF, over two updates, tied its operational turnout record with 15 unique updaters of both active duty, reserve, and civilian origin. The region was liberated twice with 9 updaters attending each liberation due to technical failings on the part of NationStates.

Consulate Foreign Report

The first session of the XV Council of the Republic began on 14 November. East Yourtanad was appointed as Speaker of the Council As a part of Creeperopolis’ appointment as World Assembly Delegate, the World Assembly Initiative (WAI) and Mailing List have been created to promote regional participation in the World Assembly. The Office of the Consulate at the time of this report is as follows,

Council Foreign Report

On November 12th, 2021, the nomination cycle for the council of September 14th-November 12th ended. The new Council Members who accepted their nominations were Reykanes and Karimun Jawa. On November 8th, Council nominations opened. Adding onto this, the 5th Speaker of the Council, East Yourtanad, was elected with DinoNet stepping down. The votes that have taken place since November 1st were the Franconia-Chiremba Accords on November 7th, 2021 with a landslide majority of the at the time 5 out of 5 council members voting in support of the act. The following Council Vote was the vote for Speakership on November 13th of 2021, with an overwhelming majority of the Council (8/8) ayeing the vote. On November 20th, 2021, the next voting card was CRL 30 - Days Honoring the Siege of Trovons, with another 8/8 Council Delegates voting in favor of the holiday. The Council welcomes both Reykanes and Karimun Jawa, as well as recognizing and appreciating DinoNet’s service as the 4th Speaker of the Council.

Just less than a month ago, on November 11th, I posted to this thread to announce Operation Pacifists of Tyranny. The operation detailed the intial hit of an invasion on Army of Freedom, the puppet storage/military region of the Republic of Conservative Nations (and formerly the Federation of Conservative Nations).

The operation in total was slated to take about 60 days, so it's pretty fucking cool that we sealed the deal in less than a month. Colonel DinoNet herself remained locked in the region for the entire duration of the operation, and she brought the password down on the place yesterday.

And finally... drumroll please... Army of Freedom has been refounded as of this past minor update. The refound was executed by myself after the last LDF puppet withdrew allowing DinoNet to leave, resulting in only Quebecshire 2 remaining. The region has now been refounded under the alias of Khoutantrias II, and I'll be re-requesting embassies with embassy-trophy hubs of operation participants.

So yeah, insert George Bush mission accomplished image or some shit.

POV: You are a random resident in The League and a region you've never heard of was just invaded...

China, a region based on a beautiful and scenic country with a rich history, a region that had done no wrong and simply existed peaceful amongst themselves. Naturally, seeing this peaceful and innocent region, raiders decided the best use of their time was to fuck with it for absolutely no reason other than their own hubris.

So let's start with a little background: Prior to today, the LDF single update turnout record was set at the invasion of Genua in May 2021 with 12 updaters. The operation wide turnout record was 15 updaters set in Trovons (4 update siege) and The New Order Last Days of Europe (2 update siege).

Both of those records got absolutely smashed. 13 LDF members sieged China at minor today, breaking that record. 12 attended the liberation at major, totaling 20 unique updaters liberating China from The League's Defense Forces. Records fucking obliterated. The road to 30 has just begun. If I can get Iandrul to update at major for once, anything is possible!

7 of our 20 updaters were conscripts who never jumped before - of those 7, every single one updated. Shoutout to the raiders who didn't ban one of our men even though he moved before the trigger. Our civilians are just next level. CTE'd and still masked in the Discord server as a resident? Revived their nation and battle main. Makasta's real-life friend? Flawless jump. Roleplayer for half a decade who never did r/d once? You'll be a fine soldier!

Last but not least, let's talk about the real MVP of this operation: Zhong-guo. In the face of an invasion which mounted to 100 pilers, this native never wavered in the slightest. They kept a cool head throughout, in constant contact with Libcord throughout the afternoon. Not only were they absolutely wonderful to coordinate with, but they took an active role in the final liberation of their region. The LDF could not be happier to have supported this native in taking a critical and direct role in the freedom of their own community.

If 100 pilers over 24 hours resulted in my operations getting crushed without even being close, I'd probably just quit raiding at that point. Food for thought maybe. We're always welcoming people on the winning side (and as a bonus to winning, you don't have to try to destroy innocent regions).
