Republican Parties Win Seats In The Far East
FAR EASTERN REPUBLIC - Both the Russian Social Democratic Workers' Party (RSDRP) and the Constitutional Democratic Party (KDP) applauded their Far Eastern counterparts for winning many seats during election, even though those counterparts were almost supressed by an alliance between the Holy Russian Party, the National Defence Union, the People's Monarchist Party and the Mladarossi. President Vasily Boldyrev also applauded the results and wished for stronger ties between Russia and its former territories, including the Far Eastern Republic. On the other hand, the Greater Russian National Front (BRNF) tries to redeem itself by denouncing the results and advocating for the immediate suppression of all republican parties in the Far Eastern Republic.
Russian Troops In Mongolia
MONGOLIA - The Russian Army has recently been arming rebels in Mongolia with Mikhtim rifles, which may have happened as early as 1946. There were even reports of Mongolian rebels being trained by officers from the Russian Army, as well as Russian troops being currently stationed in rebel-controlled territory. The Russian Army have probably been preparing the rebels for the potential liberation of Mongolia. The Russian Army has yet to respond to comments regarding the reports.
Ottoman Empire Invades Armenia
SOUTH CAUCASUS - The Ottoman Empire has recently invaded Armenia following some local skirmishes. The Ottoman Empire also said that it was a mistake to negotiate with Armenians, whom it have referred to as "jingoistic separatists". The Russian government is very critical of the invasion and has called upon the Ottoman Empire to keept its troops away from Armenia. If the invasion continues, then President Vasily Boldyrev threatens to ban the Ottoman Empire and its people from doing business in Russia. Russia has expressed support for Armenia and also wishes to send the Russian Army to help its Armenian counterpart fight the Ottoman forces.
Savinkovist Resurgence Across Central Asia
CENTRAL ASIA - After the President of Turkestan was almost murdered, Savinkovist violence have begun to resurge across Central Asia, although Khiva was spared. President Vasily Boldyrev has thought of sending the Russian Army to help the Central Asian countries defend themselves from Savinkovists.
Russian Famine Dies Down
RUSSIA - Recently, famine has started to die down in Russia, although it is currently restricted to a few dozen villages in the Caucasus and near the Alash Orda. President Vasily Boldyrev applauded all Russians for fighting back against famine, while German companies helped rebuilt farms in recent months.
BRNF Offshoots Formed
RUSSIA - Recently, the ongoing internal turmoil within the Greater Russian National Front (BRNF) has resulted in two groups breaking away from the party. Those groups in question are the National Patriotic Union (NPS) and the Slavic Unification Front (SFO). The former is led by Yuri Petrenko, a moderate member of the BRNF, while the latter is led by Konstantin Rukov, a self-proclaimed pagan. According to Yuri Petrenko, the NPS is a national conservative party that adopts some liberal conservative stances on both social and economic issues. It also seeks to reclaim lost territories, establish stronger ties with other Slavic countries, bring Russia closer to the Co-Prosperity Sphere and liberalize the Russian economy. What differs it from the BRNF is that it is more pragmatic than the latter and shuns violent extremism. Meanwhile, the SFO is a neopagan movement dedicated to liberating all Slavs from "Christian supremacy". Regarding their departure from the BRNF, the NPS was more critical of Roman Zakhaev's questionable stances on recent events, while the SFO was more critical of the BRNF being a Christian party. Since then, the NPS have taken many parliamentary seats from the BRNF, leaving the latter with just a few seats in the Russian Parliament. On the other hand, Roman Zakhaev and his followers denounced both offshoots, describing them as "opportunistic traitors".
President Vasily Boldyrev Lays Out Reconstruction Plans
MOSCOW - After both famine and violence died down in Russia, President Vasily Boldyrev began to lay out plans for the eventual reconstruction of the country.
The following plans are:
1. The Russian government wishes to help end famine in the country by rebuilding farms and sending food to the few villages that are still afflicted.
2. Political violence will therefore be banned and result in harsher penalties, including imprisonment and execution.
3. Strong social programs will be set up to support poor communities.
4. Soup kitchens will be established in every poor neighbourhood.
5. German businessmen whose shops were destroyed will be compensated by the Russian government.
6. More jobs will be created in order to combat unemployment.
7. Private investment from other countries will be allowed to support both economy and infrastructure.
8. Education will be made free and public.
9. Healthcare will become more cheaper and better than ever before.
10. Russia will be creating better relations with its neighbours, regardless of diplomatic allegiance.
With this, martial law has started to subside as well. Many political activists were arrested for participating in both violent clashes and public lynchings, while their respective parties have been given a stern warning from Russian authorities to not engage in further violence.
