Is this year's N-Day a sign of things to come for Z-Day 10?

I know this is the N-Day discussion forum, but Z-Day is a month away and we're still gonna talk about the recent N-Day here.

I was not involved in this year's N-Day (I had a massive win in N-Day 3 and quit while I was ahead, plus my region is just about dead at this point), but I heard it was the most controversial yet.

I won't lead you to any conclusions, for I am a neutral party simply interested in what others have to say.

Z-day by its design doesn't have factions, it is tied to existing game regions only. So the problem of multi-region super-factions doesn't arise.

You make a great point. However, Max Barry has changed Z-Day up in recent years. He may not change it to make super-factions, due to the controversiality of this situation, but he could change it, and we must be prepared for that. The NationStates community has undoubtedly been changed by the events of this year's N-Day, and so that attitude may transfer over to Z-Day 10. What results from there I have no idea.
