Military or Police Branch: Russian VDV
Unit: 45th Guards Spetsnaz Brigade
Previously Held Rank: Senior Sergeant
Operational Role: Grenadier
Skills & Qualifications: Pavel's 18 years of service in the Russian armed forces were almost wholly dedicated to reconnaissance and light infantry tasks. The man's general specialization during this time, was for most of it, a grenadier. That being said, multiple times in his career Pavel has been required to dip his toes in to other specializations. For a time he was given tasks outside of his MOS due to manpower shortages or simple positioning requirements, ranging from spotter on sniper teams, to gunner's assistant in weapons squads. His experience is varied, but still having a permanent imprint on the way he conducts himself. Outside of his general training for the VDV, Pavel was given an opportunity in 2012 to train with US troops with added a great deal wo his already comprehensive repertoire of skills. He is fluent in Russian, German, English, and Pashtun
Additional Information
Phycological Evaluation: Pavel's mindset leans profoundly to actions over words, as such the man is distinctly stoic and quiet. Outwardly this makes him appear as aloof, potentially misanthropic and ignorant. Though while he spends little time talking, he spends just enough time listening. When Pavel speaks it is generally to those he finds warranting of words, such as close friends or individuals he sees requires some level of his wisdom. His level of stoicism is at odds with a dry wit, and an aura of calm during high intensity situations. Testimonials from former commanding officers have weighed in that Pavel acts as a reliable anchor for his team when under fire, being quick to evaluate the situation and bringing everyone, including his lead if necessary, back on task in quick order, yet not overstepping any boundaries of command. Main motivation behind joining WhiteTree was 'Being coerced by Anya'.
Biography: Pavel was born in Karlshorst, Berlin to a GSFG Captain, and local tanner. Shortly after his borth, his parents moved from East Berlin to Leningrad, after his father's transfer orders were accepted. Pavel's childhood was ordinary for most Russian children, cold, dreary, and full of patriotism for the Soviet Union. He received an above standard education learning both Russian and German from his parents, along with minute levels of English. His parents unfortunately divorced not long after his 16th birthday, his mother moving back to East Germany.
On his 18th birthday, Pavel was called up for conscription though unlike many of his peers, Pavel was eager for the event. The boy had always been enamored with the adventure and life of danger that revolved around his motherland's soldiers. Pavel found himself a part of the Airborne Forces, and was almost immediately faced with a reality check.
The midst of the Russian invasion in Chechnya was almost like a punch to the face of the young man, being dropped almost face first into the Second Battle of Grozny. His experiences during the battle as reconnaissance, left him with a deep sense of self reliance and situational awareness. The MOUT Hell of Grozny wasn't something Pavel ever got directly involved in fortunately, but he was present during the battle's end stages as an 'escort' for UN investigators and Journalists. During the end of his deployment, Pavel became one of the 20 survivors of the 2002 Khankala Mi-26 crash. This event, left a rather deep scar in his psyche with a fear of high capacity helicopters. To this day he remains reluctant at best to board any helicopter that can hold more than 20 people.
He would not return to Chechna for some time, transferring to a Spetznaz unit and being deployed to Georgia in 2008, again primarily working as Recon and target spotting for artillery.
Almost a year later, he would return to the opposite side of the Caucausus and spend the next 5 years fighting in an insurgency, only taking a small pause in 2012 in a move to Fort Carson for a short stint trading skills and training with American soldiers. It was at this exchange that Pavel met Anya, and the two subsequently ended up in the same unit after returning to Russia. The two would grow to become fast friends, and after Anya grew disillusuoned following their involvement in Ukraine, the duo would then move to a more profitable venture.
For the past year, both have been in the employ of WhiteTree.

Biographical Information
Name: Anastasiya "Anya" Salvadorovichna Komissarovna
Nationality: Russian-Cuban Dual Citizenship
Birthplace: Leningrad, Russian SFSR (Now Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation)
Gender: Female
Date of Birth: October 17th, 1989
Appearance: At six foot three and hovering near 195 pounds, broad shouldered and muscular for a woman, it's not uncommon for Anya to be mistaken for a man when wearing full kit. Raven black hair tied in to a rather loose bun and almost preternatural blue eyes, her face is unmarred by scars nor any moles. A faded 4 inch scar runs along the center of her abdomen due to a required surgical intervention after she swallowed a battery as a child, as a result, she doesn't have a bellybutton.
Personal & Professional Background
Education:
- High School Graduate
- 242nd Training Centre of the Airborne Forces
Cross-Service training with US 10th SFG at Fort Carson

Medical History:
- Surgical intervention for Intestinal Blockage - 1994
Military or Police Branch: Russian VDV
Unit: 45th Guards Spetsnaz Brigade
Previously Held Rank: Sergeant
Operational Role: Rifleman/Interpreter. Fluent in Caribbean Spanish
Skills & Qualifications: A decade of time in Russia's armed forces has brought a great deal of skills to the woman, though while being a soldier is of course the forefront, Anya fancies herself as more of a warrior-monk. Fluent in Russian, Spanish, English, Korean, and conversational in Portuguese and French, Anya has spent just as -if nor more- time investing in to her mental training as she has her physical training. An all round rifleman, Anya's time in the general VDV was spent in an air defence squad, and she has still retained that training for seven years despite not even touching a MANPAD during her time in the Spetznaz. Much like Pavel, Anya was sent to Fort Carson in 2012 to train with US troops in recon, mountain insertion, and anti-insurgency methods.
Additional Information
Phycological Evaluation: Anya is driven in many aspects of her life. An academic mindset instilled in her by her father and a militant aspect instilled in her by her mother have almost always been at odds with one another, yet the woman has found a way to balance such values. Inhumanly driven in some way or another, Anya has very few individuals she could call proper friends, and is typically socially aloof, or outright socially inept. Little spare time outside of her work has lead to many calling her a workaholic, which is a accurate adjective. Anya's main reasons for joining WhiteTree are claimed to be a large disillusionment with her home nation of Russia, and a general feeling of wanderlust.
Biography: Born to Cuban and Russian agricultural engineers, Anya's early life was not spent in Russia. While she was born in Saint petersburg, she and her parents moved to Guantánamo when the girl was 2. It was where she lived until 1994, when her father died of skin cancer, and she and her mother moved back to Saint Petersburg, and then to Moscow. Her early life in Russia was met with a mixed perspective, having adopted a Spanish accent due to living in Cuba, and with the odd patronymic name she had, she didn't make very many friends due to the ostracism of that alone in post-Soviet Russia.
While eventually her Spanish accent waned, as she entered highschool, she was left a rather sparse social circle, many of whom emigrated from Russia upon graduation. This left her feeling somewhat hollow, and in somewhat of a last ditch move to get some degree of human interaction, joined the VDV. She was sent to Georgia within a year of her enlistment, yet she still felt that hollow feeling of not belonging. After a number of transfer requests being rejected, she eventually found herself selected for the VDV's Spetznaz.
In 2012, she and 19 others fro the 45th Guards would be sent to Fort Carson for a short stint trading skills and training with American soldiers. It was at this exchange that Anya met Pavel, and the two subsequently ended up in the same unit after returning to Russia. The two would grow to become fast friends, and after Anya grew disillusuoned following their involvement in Ukraine, the duo would then move to a more profitable venture.
For the past year, both have been in the employ of WhiteTree.
