The Federal Republic of Asucki is a Presidential Constitutional Federal Republic located in Teremara's Middle Waters. The country is continuing on a trend of liberalization and globalization since historical isolationism began breaking down in the 1980s. The history of the Asuckian Isles as a patchwork confederation of kingdoms and republics has resulted in a multicultural nation with a strong culture of federalism, political devolution, and realpolitik. All nations, regardless of political ideology, may put in a request for an embassy in an aim towards the sharing of open and free sharing of ideas and pursuit of human flourishing.
Ambassadors and their families will be granted full diplomatic immunity. Embassy and security staff are subject to all local, provincial, and federal laws. Regardless of immunity status, members of a delegation may be expelled at the discretion of the Department of Foreign Affairs. Delegates may carry diplomatic bags which may travel through security checkpoints without being searched. Private, encrypted communication solutions are available for contact between embassies and the capitol complex as well as for contact between embassies and their home nations.
Applicants to the embassy program may choose a location in one of our major cities. Aurinnen, a sprawling multicultural metropolis of 2.3 million, is a power in tourism, banking, and the vices. The slightly smaller capital city of Novaera is the center of the modern Asuckian cultural identity as well as the nation's epicenter of technology, manufacturing, and governance. New Vilgenna is a smaller city of just under a million people and is host to a significant commercial fishing sector as well as financial services. Further information on Asuckian history, culture, and political movements is available upon request.
Federal military personnel, provincial guard units, and local police forces share responsibility for protecting the exterior of embassies. If requested, they are capable of providing internal security as well. Delegations are authorized to bring security personnel of their choosing. Asuckian private security companies may also be willing to provide security if it is preferable to hire local forces. The Department of Foreign Affairs requests that all nations keep their security details under thirty personnel. No restrictions on the equipment of a delegation's security personnel will be applied in accordance to the arms control clause in the Asuckian constitution.
