Liga Eraman 71 Preview

Postby Eraman » Thu Sep 13, 2018 9:39 pm

LIGA ERAMAN 71

Preview

The new Liga Eraman is about to kick off. 12 teams will be vying for the first ever Liga Eraman title. Each team are allowed to have five (5) foreign players in which one (1) is allocated for Tanah Melayu foreign player slot.

On top of this, Liga Eraman teams will have a better reward to encourage them to capture the league title; a slot to showcase their talent to the world in the prestigious TakilQuip Champions’ League for the champion.

Teams are getting ready and plenty of stories in the lead to the season kick-off. Regional competitions were conducted to select the 12 teams to compete in Eraman highest level of football. The champion of each of the seven (7) regions in Eraman get an automatic slot to the top league while the seven (7) runner-up compete in a play-off for the final five (5) spots.

Let’s take a quick look at each team and see where they are.

Team: Royal Daulapura
Ground: Daulapura Stadium, Daulapura (45,000)
Main Sponsor: None
Manager: Igor Mismic (Khantari)
Expected Starting XI: Hunter Farewell (Khantari); Mardi Selamat, Dino Sapar, Edgardo Shiplett (Khantari), Waka Sentri; Putra Daulapura Suara (C), Margarito Bjorseth (Khantari), Jonah Rogers (Khantari); Awan Heli, Robb Honeyworth (Khantari), Biduk Serangga

Royal Daulapura are expected to be the team to beat. The team owned by Raja of Eraman is the wealthiest club in Eraman and is the only team taking full advantage of the foreign players’ quota. The team hired a 43 years old former Khantari Youth Academy and Rottor Lake FC manager, Igor Mismic as their new manager. The new manager made it clear he intends to put his own stamp on the club by bringing along five(5) Khantari national players , the national team second choice goalkeeper Hunter Farewell, veteran center back Edgardo Shiplett, veteran midfielder Margarito Bjorseth and two most promising young talent to ever come out of Khantari, midfielder Jonah Rogers and striker Robb Honeyworth. It is also worth to note that the prince of Eraman, Putra Daulapura Suara is playing and captaining the team.
__________

Team: Anara
Ground: Stadium Anara, Anara (25,000)
Main Sponsor: Gukki (high-end basket producer)
Manager: Bungsu Sula
Expected Starting XI: Sari Pada; Aliu Wuya, Badang Gangsa (C), Tabu Nawai, Dimsa Pulang; Kaya Diman, Mano Bosa, Alang Alang; Kilat Saputra, Buisan Buayan, Kudrat Saputra

Moving on to another team from the region of Daula, like Royal Daulapura, Anara also enter the competition brimming with confidence. Unlike Royal Daulapura though, Anara and every other team in the league doesn’t have the luxury of signing any foreign players. However, Anara boasts a number of the best Eramanian local talents with the likes of national team captain, Badang Gangsa and hotshot Kilat Saputra. The match against Royal Daulapura and Anara is expected to be a heated encounter as both teams are only located 55 kilometers from each other as well as Daulapura being the royal capital and Anara being the capital city of Eraman. It is dubbed as the Capital Derby as well as an encounter between the royalist and the administrator. Anara finished second in the Daula regional competition and top of the runner-up playoff.
__________

Team: Royal Arupura
Ground: Stadium Arupura, Arupura (20,000)
Main Sponsor: Lima Mata Ikan (frozen seafood brand)
Manager: Kitchi Diman
Expected Starting XI: Dundang Bayan; Kuda Bara, Mangu Data, Sarang Gani, Basil Tani; Marak Mata, Dela Sama (C), Magura Gano; Tawi Sana, Dava Kudrat, Harta Jenjali

Royal Arupura clinch the qualification to the league by winning the Aru regional competition. There is amazing quality in this team and one would expect them to finish strongly this season. Owned by the royalty of Aru, Royal Arupura is the second wealthiest club in the country but decided to put their confidence in an all-local team.
__________

Team: Haran
Ground: Stadium Haran, Haran (5,000)
Main Sponsor: Araka (liquor producer)
Manager: Wira Utama
Expected Starting XI: Nila Saputra; Jajar Semuka, Buana Sari, Handal Basar, Mindi Ketana; Merapi Jaga, Gegara Jaga, Lauti Jaga; Rana Wira, Pintas Dunya (C), Rano Wira

As if Haran’s financial issues were not enough, the recent news of losing their top scorer in the regional competition Pintas Dunya to injury is bound to hurt. According to Haran fan, the return of Pintas Dunya is key for Haran to get through the season. Haran finished second in the Aru regional competition and third in the runner-up playoff.
__________

Team: Royal Puncakpura
Ground: Stadium Puncakpura, Puncakpura (10,000)
Main Sponsor: Sungai Puncak (mineral water brand)
Manager: Sembara Bunian
Expected Starting XI: Selamat Gawang; Lipas Kudung, Gajah Radu, Badak Tari, Cicak Kudung; Rimau Belang (C), Panter Hitam, Beruang Surya; Helang Sayap, Serigala Jadi, Gagak Hitam

Royal Puncakpura finished first in the Puncak regional qualification and will be looking to push on. Royal Puncakpura fans feel that the team has a strong squad and predicted to put a strong challenge for the title. Outside of the region, not much is known about the highlanders as the region is pretty isolated from the rest of the country.
__________

Team: Sentari
Ground: Stadium Sentari, Sentari (5,000)
Main Sponsor: Sungai Puncak (mineral water brand)
Manager: Pintar Bestari
Expected Starting XI: Hansa Biru; Langit Surya, Was Was, Panter Hutan, Boromo Sari; Jengking Kari, Ganti Beria (C), Kuntau Berberu; Menri Haka, Sinar Budi, Bantu Muda

The other team from the region of Puncak is Sentari. Despite finishing second in the regional competition of Puncak, many expect Sentari to put up a strong performance in the Liga Eraman thanks to their powerful goal-scoring prowess en route to clinching the runner-up playoff qualification by finishing second behind Anara. Manager Pintar Bestari however was more cautious on the matter indicating that he is more focused on just surviving in the league for now.
__________

Team: Karibu
Ground: Stadium Karibu, Karibu (5,000)
Main Sponsor: Rokko (cigarette company)
Manager: Jimat Jamra
Expected Starting XI: Haras Tinggi; Meni Kala, Restu Muda, Padawan Tera (C), Citra Rajasa; Catat Berlian, Santira Beduk, Mulas Sintu; Pari Air, Bujang Ledibu, Liawa Sara

Karibu is another team without much funds and will be relying on more youth to step up. Rather than whine about it, manager Jimat Jamra has accepted his restrictions and molded his team accordingly to be the champion of Cittapura region. According to Karibu fans, they does not have big hopes for the season, however, based on the regional competition’s good performance, they do expect them to put on a good fight with the bigger teams. Although the team doesn’t have any big names, but with the commitment and high quality planning shown by the coach, they believe Karibu can raise their performances up another notch.
__________

Team: Royal Cittapura
Ground: Stadium Universiti Cittapura, Cittapura (15,000)
Main Sponsor: Universiti Cittapura (public university)
Manager: Nanta Jasa
Expected Starting XI: Yuyi Dunya (C); Popo Rasini, Liku Kalra, Rending Kedipi, Halili Srijasa; Ergol Kali, Kuma Dawin, Entulu Bintang; Waris Budi, Kekal Hari, Citra Awan

The runner-up of Cittapura regional qualifying, Royal Cittapura are not expected to have any ambitious targets for the inaugural season focusing more on survival. The team is owned by the royalty of Citta who is known to have no interest in sport and is quite extreme in the pursuit of knowledge thus the city being dubbed as the City of Wisdom for housing a number of universities and libraries. The city has trained generation after generation of scholars but no sportsman. Royal Cittapura finished fourth in the runner-up playoff.
__________

Team: Royal Baktipura
Ground: Stadium Baktipura, Baktipura (7,500)
Main Sponsor: None
Manager: Budi Kerti
Expected Starting XI: Astasi Bendi; Buyugo Kadasi, Mahayo Mames, Matapang Mapapa, Napona Neko; Bulan Sentri, Sueto Bebas, Tasi Taotao; Tasina Surya (C), Malam Andini, Liwagu Bentara

Royal Baktipura is more known as a pilgrimage city for religious Eramanian rather than football. But unlike the more established teams, Royal Baktipura may just squeeze through to safety on the final matchday of the league. First of all, in the capable hands of monk, famous preacher and manager Budi Kerti, the team consistently defied the odds by finishing champion of Bakti region despite fielding mostly young and unknown players. Royal Baktipura are looking to continue their giant-killing feat.
__________

Team: Damaisari
Ground: Stadium Damaisari, Damaisari (5,000)
Main Sponsor: Rotan Era (basket producer)
Manager: Tiwa Tani
Expected Starting XI: Amanaki Abisy; Feleti Arshis (C), Isileli Hiva, Kailau Hahao, Kapo Kaivai; Lami Koloa, Malohi Tane, Tavake Tuva; Ate Bintu, Adiputra Surya, Agung Basuki

Damaisari is expected to be the champion of the region of Bakti but was shocked by the emergence of Royal Baktipura and has to settle qualifying to the league from a runner-up playoff spot by finishing fourth behind Anara, Sentari and Haran. The rural town of Damaisari is home to just over 50,000 people but a mad on football. It is said that Damaisari is the birthplace of football in Eraman.
__________

Team: Royal Vidyapura
Ground: Stadium Universiti Vidyapura, Vidyapura (10,000)
Main Sponsor: Universiti Vidyapura (public university)
Manager: Cahya Buana
Expected Starting XI: Eka Galang; Jaya Guritna, Panuta Mentari, Ramelan Perdana, Rimba Pratam; Vikal Sentosa, Elta Kasani (C), Halega Ailani; Kawai Kahili, Makaio Liko, Malo Malani

Royal Vidyapura will participate in the first ever Liga Eraman with a young squad. It’s always nice to see teams relying on young talent but it is admitted that decision was made partly due to lack of funds. Royal Vidyapura is another team owned by a royalty who has not much interest in sport but due to demand from the people, he put up a team as the sole representation from the region of Vidya who is more known for universities and libraries much like Cittapura.
__________

Team: Royal Pasirpura
Ground: Stadium Pasirpura, Pasirpura (15,000)
Main Sponsor: Nafsu (public brothel)
Manager: Mele Mililani
Expected Starting XI: Pazhani Nainoa; Nana Moke, Pekelo Puna (C), Malo Maui, Makai Lahana; Kuane Kualili, Konani Nipela, Lohana Kepler; Loha Kilani, Nana Maola, Puni Wika

There were joys all over the country for travelling fans after hearing the news of Royal Pasirpura clinching the qualification spot by winning the Pasir regional competition. That is because Pasirpura is known as the resort city as well as the red-light city of Eraman. Judging by the lacklustre performance in the regional competition and the fact that the runner-up of Pasir region, Dinisurya failure to secure a single point in the runner-up playoff, not much is expected from Royal Pasirpura except for giving away 3-points and STD infections to the other teams competing.

Liga Eraman 71 Review

Postby Eraman » Thu Sep 13, 2018 9:40 pm

LIGA ERAMAN 71

Review

The early season favourite, Royal Daulapura prove to be too good for any of the Eramanian teams as they steamrolled through the league with 17 wins out of 22 games with an undefeated record at home only losing to Royal Puncakpura and Haran away from home. Khantari 21 years old hotshot Robb Honeyworth became the first ever top goalscorer in Liga Eraman scoring half of Royal Daulapura 66 goals.

The side from the capital city, Anara are only five (5) points away from the champion with defeat at home against mid-table Haran and away at bottom-side Royal Cittapura proven to be costly. Joining them to the Globe Cup are the highlanders Royal Puncakpura and the rural side of Damaisari.

At the other end of the table, the two (2) royal teams from Eraman center of wisdom fail to live up to the challenge as both Royal Cittapura and Royal Vidyapura are relegated to Liga 2.

Liga Eraman Standings

Team P W D L For Ag +/- Pts
1 Royal Daulapura 22 17 3 2 66 13 +53 54 C
2 Anara 22 15 4 3 61 30 +31 49

11 Royal Vidyapura 22 5 6 11 10 23 -13 21 R
12 Royal Cittapura 22 5 5 12 15 42 -27 20 R

Royal Cittapura and Royal Vidyapura places in Liga Eraman will be taken by another side from the Daula region, Galra who top the Liga 2 in style with 19 wins out of 22 games. Galra will be joined by Malkan also from Daula region making it the only region with 4 teams in the top division.

Armo of Vidya region and Dinisurya of Pasir region have to say good bye to league football as they were relegated from the Liga 2. Their places in Liga 2 will be taken by Sarkesh of Daula region and Jagal of Aru region.

Liga 2 Eraman Standings

Team P W D L For Ag +/- Pts
1 Galra 22 19 0 3 49 17 +32 57 P
2 Malkan 22 14 5 3 37 18 +19 47 P

11 Armo 22 2 5 15 10 31 -21 11 R
12 Dinisurya 22 1 5 16 9 41 -32 8 R

There was an upset in Eraman Cup as Royal Daulapura lost away from home in the mountainous region of Puncak to Royal Puncakpura in the first leg of Eraman Cup final. A thunderous 25 meters strike from team captain Rimau Belang and a header from Gajah Radu put Royal Puncakpura in a very good position for the return leg.

The second leg saw Royal Puncakpura play a very deep defensive line to frustrate the league champion. A goal from counter-attack by Royal Puncakpura in the first half put the travelling fans in hysteria as they are on course to win the first Eraman Cup. Royal Daulapura import from Khantari, Robb Honeyworth pull one back deep in the second half but it is proven to be no more than a consolation for the league champion.

Eraman Cup Final

Royal Puncakpura 2-0 Royal Daulapura (2-0 agg)
Royal Daulapura 1-1 Royal Puncakpura (1-3 agg)

Liga Eraman 72 Preview

Postby Eraman » Sun Feb 10, 2019 6:46 am

LIGA ERAMAN 72

Preview

The second season of Liga Eraman is promised to be more exciting than the previous one. More foreign players and continental football are on the cards. Royal Daulapura won the first season of Liga Eraman and is expected to be challenging for the title again. Anara and Royal Puncakpura are again expected to be the main challenger.

Eventhough the league are made up of 12 teams, it isn't divided into 4 title chasers, 4 mid-tablers and 4 relegation battlers. Liga Eraman is more like 3 title chasers and the rest of the league with Royal Daulapura, Anara and Royal Puncakpura showing their dominance last season. The gap between Royal Puncakpura and fourth placed, Damaisari was 14 points while the gap between Damaisari and last placed, Royal Cittapura was only 9 points.

Every clubs are upbeat about their preparation and for the first time ever, Royal Daulapura will not be the only team with foreign players. In fact, every clubs in Liga Eraman has filled their 5 foreign players quota. With the influx of foreign talent, we are in for a lot of unexpected surprises.

Let’s take a quick look at how each team are progressing.

TITLE CHALLENGERS

Team: Royal Daulapura
Ground: Daulapura Stadium, Daulapura (45,000)
Main Sponsor: None
Manager: Igor Mismic (Khantari)
Expected Starting XI: Hunter Farewell (Khantari); Mardi Selamat, Dino Sapar, Edgardo Shiplett (Khantari), Waka Sentri; Putra Daulapura Suara (C), Landon Barnes (Khantari), Jonah Rogers (Khantari); Awan Heli, Robb Honeyworth (Khantari), Biduk Serangga

Royal Daulapura are again expected to be the team to beat. The wealthiest club in Eraman is keeping the majority of their players from last season with only two significant deals which saw Khantari national team player, Landon Barnes joins the club on a 6 million deal from South Dogknock FC and veteran Khantari nation team player, Margarito Bjorseth leaves to Royal Puncakpura. They will again be banking on last season top scorer, Robb Honeyworth for goals.
__________

Team: Anara
Ground: Stadium Anara, Anara (25,000)
Main Sponsor: Gukki (high-end basket producer)
Manager: Bungsu Sula
Expected Starting XI: Quinton Lee (Khantari); Aliu Wuya, Badang Gangsa (C), Tamika November (Nephara), Daeng Senopati Daeng Marwilis (Pauh Janggi); Kaya Diman, Mano Bosa, Thanh Beldon (Khantari); Kilat Saputra, Sultan Gungor (Zeniyadh), Kudrat Saputra

Anara was the runner up 5 points behind the champion last season. The club made 5 new foreign signings to challenge for the title again. Zeniyadh star striker in the in the Malay World Cup, Sultan Gungor was roped in from Benzespor in a 10 millions deal. Malay World Cup runner up, Pauh Janggi captain was also brought in for 9 millions from Ragabakri Victory. Anara also made history for signing the first female player to play in Liga Eraman by signing veteran Nepharim center back, Tamika November for free. The biggest achievement for Anara is however retaining the service of national team captain, Badang Gangsa despite interest from Royal Daulapura.
__________

Team: Royal Puncakpura
Ground: Stadium Puncakpura, Puncakpura (10,000)
Main Sponsor: Sungai Puncak (mineral water brand)
Manager: Sembara Bunian
Expected Starting XI: Selamat Gawang; Lipas Kudung, Murat Haq (Zeniyadh), Luqmanul Hateem (Pauh Janggi), Cicak Kudung; Rimau Belang (C), Panter Hitam, Margarito Bjorseth (Khantari); Ross Hearkener (Brenecia), Rex Spearcold (Khantari), Gagak Hitam

Not much is known about the highlanders before the start of last season but they ended up winning the Eraman Cup and finishing third in the league. Last season successes resulted in the hiring of their manager as the national team head coach and the call up of several players into the national team squad. The team will be further strengthened with the signing of former Brenecian national team player, Ross Hearkener. The veteran right winger might have past his prime but surely have more to offer in Liga Eraman. He will be joined by Malay World Cup winning center back, Murat Haq who will form a partnership with another new signing in the form of Luqmanul Hateem from Pauh Janggi.
__________

CHASING PACKS
Team: Royal Arupura
Ground: Stadium Arupura, Arupura (20,000)
Main Sponsor: Lima Mata Ikan (frozen seafood brand)
Manager: Kitchi Diman
Expected Starting XI: Dundang Bayan; Dyfed Elron (Blaneu), Mangu Data, Sarang Gani, Lucas Sparks (Blaneu); Vincent Sunlands (Greythrone), Dela Sama (C), Ajax Dixclown (Steelbaron); Tawi Sana, Hasan Nawarsim (Tolol), Harta Jenjali

The second wealthiest club in the country is not flexing their financial prowess. Finishing 5th last season 26 points behind the champion should be a cause for alarm but no big signings were made. 5 new foreign players were brought in like every other clubs in the league did but the main signings were the Blaneu wing backs duo. Dyfed Elron and Lucas Sparks are regulars in the Blaneu national team despite still being 20 and 23 respectively and it is interesting to see what they can offer to Royal Arupura. A new striker was also brought in to improve their remarkably poor 16 goals last season in the form of Hasan Nawarsim from Tolol.
__________

Team: Haran
Ground: Stadium Haran, Haran (5,000)
Main Sponsor: Araka (liquor producer)
Manager: Wira Utama
Expected Starting XI: Nila Saputra; Wilson Middlebrook (Ravenweather), Buana Sari, Machmud Yahya Abdul Karim Al-Atas (Tolol), Jimmy Holten (Baranil); Svein Mehl (Baranil), Gegara Jaga, Nicolai Ege (Baranil); Rana Wira, Pintas Dunya (C), Rano Wira

Haran’s financial issue is not a secret but they still manage to fill their foreign players quota. But their biggest hope is on their top scorer Pintas Dunya, who missed the first half of last season. He will be available from the start and has put the injury problem behind him.
__________

Team: Sentari
Ground: Stadium Sentari, Sentari (5,000)
Main Sponsor: Sungai Puncak (mineral water brand)
Manager: Pintar Bestari
Expected Starting XI: Hansa Biru; Langit Surya, Benson Furnott (Ravenweather), Oliwer Czajkowski (Soute), Boromo Sari; Jengking Kari, Muhammad Qaharudin Syah bin Haji Awang (Tolol), Kuntau Berberu (C); Salim Aksoy (Tolol), Sinar Budi, Morgan Wilbuer (Steelbaron)

No big names were signed by Sentari. The club does not have the big budget to compete for big name signings with other Liga Eraman sides but Sentari will be relying much on the wit of manager, Pintar Bestari who were able to get the best out of his mostly unknown players by finishing in sixth position last season. The signing of young Soute center back does look promising and he will definitely be hoping Pintar Bestari is able to mould him into a reliable center back.
__________

Team: Karibu
Ground: Stadium Karibu, Karibu (5,000)
Main Sponsor: Rokko (cigarette company)
Manager: Jimat Jamra
Expected Starting XI: Halek-Matez Fox (Qusmo); Meni Kala, Restu Muda, Padawan Tera (C), Citra Rajasa; Cralt-Yelto Ulv (Qusmo), Vic Montoya (Steelbaron), Iwan Foerman (Ravenweather); Pari Air, Guillermo Binso (Abanhfleft), Liawa Sara

Karibu is another team without much funds and relied mostly on youth last season. Finishing ninth in the league has caused them to revamp their midfield by signing 3 new center midfielders. The signing of Cralt-Yelto Ulv from Qusmo is the biggest surprise made by Karibu and has made the whole league to turn their eye on the side from Citta region. Karibu will also be the only side from the Citta region after the relegation of Royal Cittapura.
__________

Team: Royal Baktipura
Ground: Stadium Baktipura, Baktipura (7,500)
Main Sponsor: None
Manager: Budi Kerti
Expected Starting XI: Astasi Bendi; Alana Acock (Cosumar), Mahayo Mames (C), Matapang Mapapa, Napona Neko; Gamato Malanjun (Urawan), Hakon Fen (Cosumar), Tasi Taotao; Dolores Ciboney (Cosumar), Linibid Bungkar (Urawan), Liwagu Bentara

The pilgrimage city club will again be in the capable hands of monk, famous preacher and manager Budi Kerti, The team consistently defied the odds by finishing champion of Bakti region despite fielding mostly young and unknown players and then finishing seventh in the league last season. Signings of Cosumarite trio will further strengthen the club and Royal Baktipura will be looking to continue their giant-killing feat.
__________

Team: Damaisari
Ground: Stadium Damaisari, Damaisari (5,000)
Main Sponsor: Rotan Era (basket producer)
Manager: Tiwa Tani
Expected Starting XI: Waldemar Slusarski (Soute); Feleti Arshis (C), Isileli Hiva, Johari Mat Syahbandar (Pauh Janggi), Lee Toftson (Steelbaron); Rick Chappelwick (Steelbaron), Malohi Tane, Tavake Tuva; Emere Penina (Mitra & Soma), Buisan Buayan, Agung Basuki

Damaisari is home to just over 50,000 people but it is the birthplace of football in Eraman and also the birthplace of many national team football players including national team captain, Badang Gangsa who plays for Anara. The small remote town in the region of Bakti is mad on football. The only downside for the club is money which made them lose a lot of local players to bigger and richer clubs. They still somehow managed to finish third in the league last season. The biggest of their highlight is not the signing of 5 new foreign players but the return of national team number one striker, Buisan Buayan back to his hometown. Damaisari is again expected to be leading the chasing packs behind the big three.
__________

Team: Royal Pasirpura
Ground: Stadium Pasirpura, Pasirpura (15,000)
Main Sponsor: Nafsu (public brothel)
Manager: Mele Mililani
Expected Starting XI: Pierluigi Cevenni (Askari Union); Nana Moke, Pekelo Puna (C), Malo Maui, Makai Lahana; Arihi Masina (Mitra & Soma), Konani Nipela, Kelo Makaka (Mitra & Soma); Suva Andara (Mitra & Soma), Nana Maola, Johnathon Gira (Khantari)

There were joys all over the country for travelling fans again after Royal Pasirpura managed to beat the drop by finishing 10th in the league only 2 points above the relegation zone. The resort red-light city of Eraman is the country's main tourist hotspot for its beaches, casinos and brothels. But with Royal Vidyapura and Royal Cittapura relegated, the club from the coastal city is now the favourite for relegation. The foreign signings are nothing to shout for and Pasirpura will again be expected to be the place to get 3-points and STD infections.
__________

Team: Galra
Ground: Stadium Galra, Galra (12,000)
Main Sponsor: Bigbite (fast food chain)
Manager: Arim Bando
Expected Starting XI: Nabil Amran (Adila); Warma Dewa, Tungga Varman, Mauli Busana, Tribhu Wana; Padma Pani, Ibrahim Ali (Malayajaya), Wong Soon Fatt (Ghee Hin); Bhaga Datta, Mansour Abdel Razzaq (Zahirid), Chin Cha Lok (Hai San)

Galra should not even be in Liga 2 Eraman last season. They steamroll through the league with 19 wins in 22 matches. The side from the region of Daula is way above the standard of Liga 2 Eraman. They will be expected to comfortably sit in mid table in the top division this season.
__________

Team: Malkan
Ground: Stadium Malkan, Malkan (10,000)
Main Sponsor: Bank Pertanian Eraman (private bank)
Manager: Tewila Sinamitra (Mitra & Soma
Expected Starting XI: Jaya Nasa; Indra Varman, Elei Tama (Mitra & Soma), Aina Lani (Mitra & Soma), Rudra Vikral; Dharma Setu, Rongo Maiwe (Mitra & Soma), Soloso Lalago (Mitra & Soma); Samara Grawira, Loto Manaia (Mitra & Soma), Cuda

The promotion of Malkan will complete the status of Daula as the region with the most football clubs in the top league of Eraman with four clubs (25%). Malkan will also make history by being the second club and first non-royal club to employ foreign manager in the form of Tewila Sinamitra from Mitra & Soma. He will be joined by another 5 Mitranese & Somanese national team players. The newly promoted side is expected to have just enough ammunition to beat the drop.

Liga Eraman 72 Review

LIGA ERAMAN 72

Review

A new champion was crowned. The side from the administrative capital city, Anara fend off any challenges given to them by winning the league 7 points clear of second place, Royal Daulapura. The top five though were occupied by the same top five from last season. However, the gaps are clearly getting smaller. Last season, Royal Arupura who finished fifth were 26 points behind the champion. This season, Royal Arupura again finishing fifth managed to close the gap with only 16 points separating them from the champion.

The arrivals of a bunch of new foreign players clearly played a big part in shaping the league. Royal Daulapura who made only one signing failed to dominate the league again with 6 defeats compared to only 2 last season. Brenecian veteran right winger, Ross Hearkener who plays for Royal Puncakpura won the Golden Boot with 17 goals.

At the other end of the table, three teams were fighting the relegation battles neck and neck with Galra keeping their place in the league on goal differences. Good bye to Royal Pasirpura and Sentari.

Royal Pasirpura and Sentari places in Liga Eraman will be taken by Dunyalam who top the Liga 2 with 42 points. Dunyalam will be joined by Royal Cittapura who managed to get promotion straight after getting relegated last season.

At the other end of the table, Sarkesh went straight back to non-league football after finishing bottom. Newly promoted side, Jagal meanwhile managed to beat the drop on goal differences to send Asrana to non-league football.

Liga Eraman 1 (Postponed)

Postby Eraman » Thu May 14, 2020 4:05 am

Domestic football competitions were halted. All sporting activities were stopped as protesters in condemnation of Eramanian annexation of Mitra and Soma infested the nations. For the first time in its history, the monarchy institution is in threat.

The national team missed out on the Cup of Harmony and Melayu Archipelago Cup for the first time since its formation due to the crisis. But as soon as things get better in Daulapura, the royal capital of Eraman, the ball starts rolling again.

The inception of CMFA Nations League, a new initiative by the Melayu Archipelago football governing body, paved the way for Eraman to get stuck in again.

Despite missing 2 big tournaments, Eraman still manage to be ranked among the best 8 nations in Melayu Archipelago to put them in League A. Eraman were drawn in Group B alongside Pemecutan, Reksonegoro and Labuan & Cempaka.

The first match for the national team after over a year was at home against Reksonegoro. The 45,000-seater Daulapura Stadium, the biggest stadium in the country was packed. The fans were in the mood for some football. But unfortunately, the players were not.

Eraman lost 2-0. The players were clearly not up for it. Eraman then finished the international break with another defeat away at Pemecutan before stealing a point at Samudera Darussalam to finish bottom of Group B with only a point.

With relegation to League B a huge possibility, the national team coach finally recalled senior team players that were banned to play for the national team by the president of Eraman Football Association for the second half of the group stage.

Wearing the captain armband for the first time in 5 years, Putra Daulapura Suara Petara led the national team to win all 3 matches in the second half of the group stage. The 10 points garnered by Eraman was enough to put them in second place, thus qualified for a semi-final spot.

The opponent in the semi final was Ziwana, the westernmost nation in Melayu Archipelago. Ziwana was in the form of their life as they beat Eraman 4-2 on aggregate and went on to win the inaugural edition of CMFA Nations League. Eraman, on the other hand, went on to beat Pemecutan in a match decided on penalty shootout to finish third.

With situations in major cities around Eraman getting under control, Eraman Football Association announced that football will be back to normal. The domestic season will resume. And the national team will compete for a place in the World Cup again.

Liga Eraman 2 (Preview)

Postby Eraman » Mon Jun 15, 2020 2:24 pm

LIGA ERAMAN 2

Preview

Image
Location of clubs in Liga Eraman
Liga Eraman is back after a season hiatus. The league continues from where it stops with Royal Cittapura and Dunyalam relegated to Liga 2 while Royal Pasirpura and Siasari promoted to Liga Eraman. There was no domestic football held last year which resulted in no Eramanian club eligible to play international club football. The clubs can give their 100% on domestic football this year.

Defending champion, Anara will be the favourite to win the title again. Bungsu Sula, Anara head coach has led the club to back-to-back title and is now considered as the best coach in the country. Inside the field, the team will be led by Badang Gangsa, a former national team captain who plays in the center back. He will be partnered by the veteran Tamika November, a foreign import from Nephara who impressed in her 2 seasons with the club. Upfront, Anara will be led by the Saputra brothers, Kilat and Kudrat who will be supplied by another national team player, Mano Bosa from the midfield.

Their main challenger is the oil-rich Royal Daulapura. The club from the royal capital last won the league 3 seasons ago and finished second in the previous 2 seasons. They will once again rely on academy products like goalkeeper Mikla Kala, center-back Anton Mora and Mahar Mina, midfield trio of Kinta Biru, Milo Kaulawi and Karipa Senawang, and the two pacey inside forward Perda Nasar and Era Hitam who have all stepped up after the mass exodus of players from Royal Daulapura and broken into the national team.

Damaisari, Royal Puncakpura and Royal Arupura will be looking to break the dominance of the two capitals. Damaisari, a club from a town of only 50,000 people benefitted the most from the mass exodus of players from Royal Daulapura with national team captain, Putra Daulapura Suara Petara and number one local striker, Buisan Buayan joining. Royal Puncakpura has appointed club legend, Ross Hearkener from Brenecia who was the top scorer in Liga Eraman for the previous 2 seasons as a player-manager. Meanwhile, the second wealthiest club in the league, Royal Arupura is set to rely heavily on the defence once again who is led by national team goalkeeper, Dundang Bayan and give youngster, Dava Kudrat a chance to spearhead the attack after failing to get the goals from the previous 2 strikers.

The top 5 have dominated Liga Eraman since its inception and Haran, Malkan, Royal Baktipura and Karibu will be trying to break into it once again. It's not going to be an easy feat as the national team players are all concentrated in the top 5 clubs. These 4 clubs have good foreign imports like Dolores Ciboney from Cosumar in Royal Baktipura and Halek-Matez Fox and Craft-Yelto Ulv from Qusmo in Karibu but they are playing alongside sub-standard local players. Their season will once again rely on their foreign players.

Battling to avoid relegation is Galra and the 2 newly-promoted sides, Royal Pasirpura and Siasari. Galra have avoided relegation on goal difference for 2 seasons in a row. Can they count their luck again?

The Capital Derby came early this year, often regarded as the biggest match of the season. The match between Anara and Royal Daulapura, the two biggest club in Eraman is the most talked about topic in the country. This time, it was Anara who triumphant. After a disappointing opening of the season, the Kudrat brothers scored 3 goals between them to send the boys from the royal capital home empty handed.

Ross Hearkener again failed to get a goal or point from his boys in his second match in charge of Royal Puncakpura. The newly-promoted Siasari continued their brilliance in the top division with a second straight clean sheet and this time have the goal from Bandi Neraca to get them all the 3 points at home against Royal Puncakpura.

Elsewhere, Galra who avoided relegation on goal difference for the past 2 seasons and is predicted to be on relegation battle again recorded a huge victory at home against Malkan to sit at the top of the table. The match is often regarded as Mini Daula Derby as both clubs tried to claim the 3rd best club in Daula after Anara and Royal Daulapura. What a start to the season from the Southern Daula club.

Siasari recorded another victory, their fourth of the season to put them in second. A solitary goal by Wira Jasa very early in the match was enough to get them the 3 points.

The biggest match of the season, the match between the two most dominant club in the country between the two sides from the two capital of Eraman ended in a 1-1 draw. It was a showcase of national team players as Anara and Royal Daulapura are the biggest suppliers of players to the national team. In fact, almost all the players on the pitch are national team players.

The match was balanced as both sides were cautious in their play. National team striker, Era Hitam gave Royal Daulapura the lead in the first half. The ending of the match was nervy. With Royal Daulapura holding on to a single goal lead, Anara kept pushing for the equaliser. In the end, their attempt was fruitful through another national team striker, Kilat Saputra. With the result, Royal Daulapura is still at the top of the table and Anara is still a point behind the league leader.

Elsewhere, a late goal from Mulia Suci for Siasari denied Royal Puncakpura the chance to close the gap at the top. Royal Puncakpura managed to hold on to a point to stay within 5 points from the league leader. Instead, it is Haran and Damaisari who gets closer to the top with both of the chasers winning their respective home matches.

The 2 goals from the former Royal Daulapura blue-eyed boy was enough to get Damaisari the 3 points. The win put Damaisari just 2 points behind Royal Daulapura now.

The main challenger, Royal Daulapura won handsomely away at Karibu to get on the same point as Anara. The defending champion, Anara is still at the top of table only leading by goal difference going into the last match of the season.

Major upset. Relegated club, Royal Pasirpura claimed an amazing victory over the defending champion, Anara in the final matchday of the season. Royal Daulapura also failed to get a win against Siasari but managed to get a point from the match. The one point gathered from the match is enough to get Royal Daulapura the league title.

Anara 3–0 Dinisurya
Kilat Saputra, 12m, 18m, 30m

Galra 0–1 Royal Daulapura
Era Hitam, 79m

Both Anara and Royal Daulapura booked their place to the final to renew their rivalry again after the league title was won by Royal Daulapura. Anara who failed to defend their title confidently beat Liga 2 side, Dinisurya thanks to a Kilat Saputra hattrick. Royal Daulapura, on the other hand, was forced to battle hard at Galra and only won by a solitary goal by Era Hitam late in the second half.

Royal Daulapura 1–2 Anara
Era Hitam, 39m | Kudrat Saputra, 65m; Kilat Saputra, 74m

The finale. The final of Eraman Cup. The last match of the season.

There is no better way to end the season other than a match pitting the 2 most dominant side in the country, Royal Daulapura and Anara. Royal Daulapura is fresh from winning the league while Anara is looking for revenge. It was Royal Daulapura who leads first through the young sensation, Era Hitam. But an amazing performance by Anara in the second half ensured they get the comeback to win the match 2-1.

Liga Eraman 4 (Preview Part 1)

Postby Eraman » Mon Mar 01, 2021 8:41 am

LIGA ERAMAN 4

Preview (Part 1):
The Big 3

It's that time of the year again. The new season of Liga Eraman. It is expected to be an exciting season with the traditional powerhouse clubs from the two capitals, Royal Daulapura and Anara, no longer dominate Liga Eraman. The race for the league is now a three-way race with Royal Puncakpura who, against all odds, won the league last season cementing their place as one of the best clubs in the country.

Can the free-flowing attacking Royal Puncakpura sustain another title-winning run or is it a one-season wonder? Can the traditional big two, Royal Daulapura and Anara return to the top? Or are we going to see a new champion?

Let's have a closer look at the title contenders.

THE TITLE CONTENDERS

Image

Team: Royal Puncakpura
Ground: Stadium Puncakpura, Puncakpura (10,000)
Main Sponsor: Sungai Puncak (mineral water brand)
Manager: Ross Hearkener (Brenecia)
Formation: 4-2-3-1 Wide

Expected Starting XI:
GK - Selamat Gawang, 33; DR - Lipas Kudung, 28; DC - Martin O'Neill, 33 (South Newlandia); DC - Gajah Radu, 25; DL - Cicak Kudung, 28; MC - Rimau Belang, 31(C); MC - Beruang Surya, 25; AMR - Elsie Madderty, 31 (Brenecia); AMC - Serigala Rudra, 26; AML - Gagak Hitam, 26; ST - Serigala Jadi, 31

Last season was one of the best moments in player-manager, Ross Heakerner's career. The 37 years old right-winger steered dark horse, Royal Puncakpura into their first league title in their history. He took the country by surprise with the introduction of free-flowing attacking football to Liga Eraman, something that is not common in the country.

The main benefactor from the change of system introduced by Ross Hearkener is Serigala Rudra. Serigala Rudra had a magnificent season pulling the strings for Royal Puncakpura as an attacking midfielder, a new role introduced to the country that preferred defensive midfielder over attacking midfielder. Two years ago, Serigala Rudra was just a benchwarmer in a mediocre club and now he is one of the most exciting players to watch in the league. The 26 years old is still uncapped but constantly knocking on the national team's door with his performance last season.

The biggest factor towards Royal Puncakpura's successful campaign last season though was the acquisition of center back, Martin O'Neill from South Newlandia and right-winger, Elsie Madderty from Brenecia. It proved to be a smart piece of business as Martin O'Neill won the Best Defender of The Season Award and is undoubtedly the best center back in the league while Elsie Madderty consistently wrecking defenders with her pace.

Ross Hearkener is confident of another title-challenging season with Royal Puncakpura. With the squad at his disposal, he has the right to be confident and Royal Puncakpura is expected to finish at least in the top 3.

Image

Team: Royal Daulapura
Ground: Daulapura Stadium, Daulapura (45,000)
Main Sponsor: Petara Oil (oil and gas)
Manager: Tun Sengalang Petara
Formation: 4-3-3 DM Wide

Expected Starting XI:
GK - Mikla Kala ,25; DR - Along Widana - 20; DC- Mahar Mina, 25; DC - Anton Mora, 25;
DL - David Kemper, 33 (Baker Park); DM - Kinta Biru, 25; MC - Karipa Senawang, 24; MC - Milo Kaulawi, 23;
AMR - Perda Nasar, 24; AML - Era Hitam, 22; ST - Putra Daulapura Wikra Petara, 22

Royal Daulapura is among the teams that are vigorously undergoing a major reshuffle to face the new Liga Eraman season, including releasing Igos Mismic, their long-serving manager. It is a surprising move by the top management considering that Igor Mismic won 2 league titles and finished second on three occasions in his 5 season tenure.

The replacement is the owner of Royal Daulapura himself, Tun Sengalang Petara who is also the national team head coach. Among the surprise decisions made by Tun Sengalang Petara is the release of several key players including right-back Mardi Selamat, left-back Waka Sentri, and left-winger Awan Heli.

Interestingly, Tun Sengalang Petara's nephew, Putra Daulapura Wikra Petara has signed his first professional contract with Royal Daulapura after graduating from the Center of Excellence in Apox. Putra Daulapura Wikra Petara is the most exciting young striker in the country and has already been capped despite not signing a professional contract yet. Royal Daulapura fans will be eager to see the glimpse of Era Hitam-Wikra Petara partnership that they saw on Eraman U-23 side.

Royal Daulapura has never finished outside of the top 2 since Liga Eraman commences 6 years ago and they are again expected to finish in the top 2 this season.

Image

Team: Anara
Ground: Stadium Anara, Anara (25,000)
Main Sponsor: Gukki (high-end basket producer)
Manager: Bungsu Sula

Expected Starting XI:
GK - Maxter, 24 (Sharktail); DR - Aliu Wuya, 21; DC- Badang Gangsa, 33 (C); DC - Andik Kesum, 21; DL - Uri Kesiman, 22; DM - Kaya Diman, 34; MC - Mano Bosa, 33; MC - Soni Bumi, 21;
AMR - Kilat Saputra, 29; AML - Kudrat Saputra, 29; ST - Gelereth Pirastadhaunden, 27 (Ko-ren)

Anara comes into the new season with a mission to finish at least in the top two after finishing third last season, their worst ever season in their history. Retaining their long-serving manager, Bungsu Sula, the team is more prepared and confident compared to last season.

Their first eleven last season consisted of 2 new foreign imports (Maxwell and Gelereth Pirastadhaunden) and 3 promoted academy players(Andik Kesum, Uri Kesiman, and Soni Bumi) and everyone has been retained as Bungsu Sula aims for consistency and progress.

"We have made a major overhaul last season and still managed to finish third in the league despite fielding 4 young players in the first eleven of which 3 of them are debutants. We will be much stronger and more experienced this season with the same set of players", said Bungsu Sula in their new season launching.

The club will again be banking on the striker from Ko-ren, Gelereth Pirastadhaunden for goals. Gelereth Pirastadhaunden who made his debut for the club last season is labeled as the goal machine after scoring 18 goals in 22 appearances. With the performance of last season fresh in mind, Bungsu Sula will again be counting on their main striker to help them achieve their mission this season.

Liga Eraman 4 (Preview Part 2)

Postby Eraman » Mon Mar 01, 2021 2:06 pm

LIGA ERAMAN 4

Preview (Part 2):
The Chasing Packs

The domination of The Big 3 in Liga Eraman is undoubted. But if there are any clubs who can challenge The Big 3, it's The Chasing Packs of Malkan, Royal Baktipura, and Damaisari. These 3 clubs made the top half of the last season comfortably with Malkan even finishing the season only 5 points behind third-placed Anara.

Can the chasing packs break into the top 3?

Let's have a look at the other 3 top half clubs.

THE TOP HALF

Image

Team: Malkan
Ground: Stadium Malkan, Malkan (10,000)
Main Sponsor: Bank Pertanian Eraman (private bank)
Manager: Tewila Sinamitra
Formation: 4-3-3 DM Wide

Expected Starting XI:
GK - Jaya Nasa, 27; DR - Indra Varman, 23; DC - Elei Tama, 29; DC - Aina Lani, 30; DL - Rudra Vikra, 25; DM - Dharma Setu, 26; MC - Rongo Maiwe, 28; MC - Soloso Lalago, 29; AMR - Samara Grawira, 24; AML - Cuda Mani, 26; ST - Loto Manaia, 34

Malkan took a bold step by lining up a squad consisting of 100% local players for the new season. Its manager, Tewila Sinamitra puts full trust in all the local players to give a fierce challenge to the opponents even without the service of a single foreign player in the squad this season.

Malkan benefited the most from the annexation of Mitra and Soma 2 years ago as all 5 of their foreign players before were Mitranese and Somanese. The 5 players are still with the club but are now considered local players. These 5 players have all been capped by Mitra and Soma and leading the charge is the veteran striker, Loto Manaia.

"Loto Manaia is one of the most disciplined players on the field and he connects well with other players", said Tewila Sinamitra describing the Mitra-born target man.

Last season was a magnificent season for Malkan as they managed to finish fourth and qualifies for continental competition for the first time ever. Many saw Malkan as overachieving and Loto Manaia will again have to be at his best if Malkan harbors for another continental qualification spot. At 34 years of age, the question is how long can he go on?

Image

Team: Royal Baktipura
Ground: Stadium Baktipura, Baktipura (7,500)
Main Sponsor: None
Manager: Budi Kerti
Formation: 4-3-3 DM Wide

Expected Starting XI:
GK - Astasi Bendi, 28; DR - Agus Biru, 22; DC - Mahayo Mames (C), 24; DC - Matapang Mapapa, 24; DL - Napona Neko, 26; DM - Bulan Sentri, 20; MC - Sueto Bilis, 21; MC - Tasi Taotao, 24; AMR - Dolores Ciboney (Cosumar), 26; AML - Liwagu Bentara, 25; ST - Malam Andini, 20

Last season's Eraman Cup runner-up, Royal Baktipura will be hoping for another scintillating performance from their foreign import, Dolores Ciboney from Cosumar. Dolores Ciboney is one of the best players in the league and the club is built around her. The problem is the players around her are not up to her standard.

Royal Baktiputa will be hoping to change that with the promotion of several academy players including U23 national team player, Sueto Bilis. Royal Baktipura is on a steady rise finishing 8th, 7th, and 5th in the 3 previous seasons. If these young players are able to cope with the intensity of Liga Eraman, it's not impossible for Royal Baktipura to raise higher.

Image

Team: Damaisari
Ground: Stadium Damaisari, Damaisari (5,000)
Main Sponsor: Rotan Era (basket producer)
Manager: Tiwa Tani
Formation: 4-3-3 DM Wide

Expected Starting XI:
GK - Yuyi Dunya, 26; DR - Feleti Arshis, 30; DC - Isileli Hiva, 32; DC - Dino Sapar, 37; DL - Irfan Danial, 24 (Sharktail); DM - Putra Daulapura Suara Petara, 31 (C), MC- Lami Koloa, 21; MC - Malohi Tane, 26; AMR - Emere Penina, 31; AML - Adi Putra Surya, 22; ST - Buisan Buayan, 33

After failing to achieve their target of qualifying for a continental spot, Damaisari is determined to bounce back this season and subsequently hunt for a slot to IFCF tournaments and CMFA Champions League.

Damaisari's squad looks quite old for a club famous for producing young talents. But these old players are top players in the country. The likes of Feleti Arshis, Isileli Hiva, Dino Sapar, Putra Daulapura Suara Petara, and Buisan Buayan are no strangers to Eramanians as these players are regulars for the national team. They joined Damaisari from Royal Daulapura 2 seasons ago for free in an act of protest towards Tun Sengalang Petara, the president of Eraman Football Association, owner, and now also the manager of Royal Daulapura.

They finished 4th in their first season together and a disappointing 6th placed finished last season. In their third season together now, with the addition of national team goalkeeper, Yuyi Dunya, and Sharktail national team left-back, Irfan Danial to the squad last season, the club from the small town is regarded the biggest candidate to break into the top 3.

Liga Eraman 4 (Preview Part 3)

Postby Eraman » Tue Mar 02, 2021 9:38 pm

LIGA ERAMAN 4

Preview (Part 3):
The Mitranese And Somanese

Mitra and Soma were annexed by Eraman 2 years ago. As a result, Mitra and Soma League were absorbed into the Eraman football league pyramid as one of the 8th state's groups in the third level of the pyramid much to the dismay of Mitranese and Somanese.

It didn't take long for them to see their clubs in the highest division. The back-to-back promotion saw Mitra and Soma rose to the highest level of football in the country proving that their grouses two years ago have some basis, Mitra and Soma belong in Liga Eraman, not the third division.

Can they stay at the top? How will the two clubs from across the straits fare against the best clubs in Eraman?

Let's have a closer look at the newcomers from Mitra and Soma.

THE NEWCOMERS

Image

Team: Soma
Ground: Soma Stadium, Soma (5,000)
Main Sponsor: Visit Mitra (government tourism campaign)
Manager: Wayan Legu
Formation: 4-3-3 DM Wide

Expected Starting XI:
GK - Kurniadi Sujarwadi, 27; DR - Ketut Kuning, 23; DC - Kadek Pahang, 25; DC - Komang Sakti, 25; DL - Made Panji, 23; DM - Nyoman Jelantik, 24; MC - Putu Sukawati, 20; MC - Wayan Satria, 20; AMR - Komang Jorog, 27; AML - Nyoman Bengkel, 26; ST - Wayan Nata, 26

Soma is hopeful of another great season after winning the Liga Eraman 2 last season and gain promotion to Liga Eraman. Their main threat is their left flank; the pairing of left-back Made Panji and left-winger Nyoman Bengkel. The pace that the two flankers possessed proved to be burdensome for defenders in Liga Eraman 2 and they are expected to be able to keep up with the higher pace in the top division.

The most exciting thing about Soma is their two promising center midfielders, Putu Sukawati and Wayan Satria, both only aged 20. The two players started their partnership together two years ago in Liga Eraman 3 Mitra and Soma State Group. They excel in their debut season and finished the season as runner-up to Mitra. Their second season together was better as they help Soma won the second division. If they can keep up with the football in the top division and continue to progress, it will not be long before we see the two wearing the blue Eraman jersey.

Soma is expected to stay in the top division comfortably, maybe even pushing to break into the top half.

Image

Team: Mitra
Ground: Mitra National Stadium, Mitra (25,000)
Main Sponsor: Visit Mitra (government tourism campaign)
Manager: Made Setiawan
Formation: 4-3-3 DM Wide

Expected Starting XI:
GK - Putu Munggu, 24; DR - Kadek Mayun, 21; DC - Malim Patana, 24; DC - Gede Agung, 22; DL - Nyoman Putra, 26; DM - Putu Lanang, 20; MC - Komang Andul, 22; MC - Nyoman Widya, 24; AMR - Ketut Singaraja, 28; AML - Wira Matari, 26; ST - Sagari Krita, 28

Mitra's top goalscorer for 2 seasons in a row, Sagari Krita is again the mainstay in the transfer rumors column as he is linked with several top Eraman clubs. And yet again, he reiterated his loyalty towards his local club by signing a long-term contract. That is a huge sigh of relief as Mitra will be relying heavily on Sagari Krita again to score the goals and help them avoid relegation.

However, unlike the two promising center midfielders in Soma, there are questions on the two young center midfielders in Mitra. Pundits are not confident in the ability of Komang Andul and Nyoman Widya who they see as the weakest link in the team and cost Mitra the second division title last season. If they continue to struggle in the middle of the park, Mitra will be in danger of relegation.

Liga Eraman 4 (Preview Part 4)

Postby Eraman » Sat Mar 06, 2021 10:46 am

LIGA ERAMAN 4

Preview (Part 4):
The Rest Of The League

The bottom half of the league is filled with struggling clubs with sub-standard local players but high-quality foreign players. Siasari have Rama Karyadi, Dunyalam have Gilbert, Galra have Emma Balmer and Pandu Oka Jaya while Royal Arupura have Peliniho. These are some of the best players in the league.

Can these foreign imports carry their team to success?

Let's have a closer look at the bottom half.

THE BOTTOM HALF

Image

Team: Siasari
Ground: Stadium Siasari, Siasari (2,500)
Main Sponsor: Rotan Era (basket producer)
Manager: Pintar Bestari
Formation: 4-3-3 DM Wide

Expected Starting XI:
GK - Masa Perak, 30; DR - Asan Besi, 29; DC - Rana Suri, 27; DC - Handi Basuki, 28; DL - Malau Boni,29; DM - Sani Parok, 26; MC - Rama Karyadi, 23 (Pemecutan); MC - Alan Kesuma, 24;
AMR - Mulia Suci, 22; AML - Wira Jasa, 24; ST - Bandi Neraca, 27

After finishing eighth in Liga Eraman in its debut season and seventh last season, Siasari is now seen as more serious to hunt for a better position by retaining their mixture of young and experienced players. It can be considered a pretty good start for Siasari through its second season in the Liga Eraman stage last season and the team will definitely be the focus of many opponents this season.

After extending the contract of the head coach, Pintar Bestari, their main import from neighboring Pemecutan who also captained the team last season, Rama Karyadi also remained with the club to boss the midfield. The Pemecutan national team player put in a scintillating performance by scoring 8 goals and assisting a further 12 goals in total in his debut season last season in the Liga Eraman.

According to Pintar Bestari, the 23-year-old central midfielder is a mature player despite his young age and has the world at his feet. His decision to remain loyal to the club has indeed given a bonus to Siasari in their bid to break into the top half.

Team: Dunyalam
Ground: Stadium Dunyalam, Dunyalam (5,000)
Main Sponsor: EraBet (bookmaker)
Manager: Tuah Bijaya
Formation: 4-3-3 DM Wide

Expected Starting XI:
GK - Gilbert, 30 (Sharktail); DR - Sabtu Vikri, 22; DC - Wira Sakra, 28; DC - Merdeka Prati, 22; DL - Adiputra Abiru, 23; DM - Biru Suban, 25; MC - Putih Gaura, 24; MC - Kechik Sahasra, 25; AMR - Merdeka Panji, 23; AML - Jati Aradin, 27; ST - Bayu Widana, 23

Dunyalam finished 8th in their debut season in Liga Eraman last season. It was a great achievement for the runner-up of Liga Eraman 2 75 who was expected to drop down immediately. Most pundits think that Dunyalam is over-achieving and is going to struggle this season.

The most interesting thing about Dunyalam is their head coach, Tuah Bijaya. Tuah Bijaya is the youngest head coach in the league and is not afraid to play positive attacking football, unlike most local head coaches in the country. However, with the squad that he has, we can't expect much from Dunyalam except for entertaining football.

Team: Galra
Ground: Stadium Galra, Galra (12,000)
Main Sponsor: Bigbite (fast food chain)
Manager: Arim Bando
Formation: 4-3-3 DM Wide

Expected Starting XI:
GK - Gemala Alika, 25; DR - Warma Dewa, 25; DC - Tungga Varman, 22; DC - Mauli Busana, 20; DL - Tribhu Wana, 22; DM - Padma Pani, 28; MC - Emma Balmer, 31 (Kohnhead); MC- Cula Pradyu, 28; AMR - Bhaga Datta, 26; AML - Biduk Serangga, 31; ST - Pandu Oka Jaya, 25 (Pemecutan)

Having failed to stand out last season after finishing 9th in Liga Eraman, Galra is determined to bounce back this season and go on to hunt for a better standing in the league.

Most of the Galra fans were quite excited when the former national team striker, Biduk Serangga, finally signed a new contract to stay for his third season with the club. Although reaching the age of 32, Biduk Serangga provided a different dimension to the squad, especially in terms of team motivation as well as being a mentor to young talents at Galra.

Apart from Biduk Serangga, Galra will be relying on foreign players such as central midfielder Emma Balmer from Kohnhead and Pemecutan national team striker Pandu Oka Jaya to achieve their goal of finishing better than last season, 9th in the league, their best finished ever in Liga Eraman.

Team: Royal Arupura
Ground: Stadium Arupura, Arupura (20,000)
Main Sponsor: Lima Mata Ikan (frozen seafood brand)
Manager: Kitchi Diman
Formation: 4-3-3 DM Wide

Expected Starting XI:
GK - Dundang Bayan, 34; DR - Kuda Bara, 26; DC - Mangu Data, 24; DC - Sarang Gani, 25; DL - Basil Tani, 22; DM - Marak Mata, 28; MC - Dela Sama, 36 (C); MC - Peliniho, 22 (TJUN-ia); AMR - Tawi Sana, 24; AML - Harta Jenjali, 24; ST- Dava Kudrat, 22

Royal Arupura survived relegation on goal difference last season. It was the worst season the club from the third biggest city in the country ever endured and is one of the bitter memories that Royal Arupura wants to forget immediately and hopes to improve its reputation in the new season.

Royal Arupura once was undoubtedly the fifth-best club in the country after finishing fifth for three seasons in a row from 71 to 73. However, the northerner has been struggling for the last two seasons and is expected to struggle again this season. According to head coach Kitchi Diman, he does not care about the lack of attention given by most observers to Royal Arupura because it is more comfortable to work in such situations and less pressure on players.

The positive from the squad is the two highly-rated youngsters they have in Peliniho and Dava Kudrat. Peliniho joined Royal Arupura last season and Dava Kudrat started featuring in the first eleven two seasons ago. Both had been showing lots of promises. Royal Arupura will rely on the two youngsters with the help of veteran ex-national team players Dundang Bayan and Dela Sama this season in their bid to stay clear of relegation.

After Matchday 12, the government of Eraman declared a state of emergency and imposed a curfew on the nation due to political instability. Liga Eraman was postponed and awaits clearance from the government to resume at a later date.

Royal Puncakpura is leading the league at the break with title challenger Royal Daulapura and newly promoted Mitra hot on their trail. The most surprising development is Anara being only 2 points above the relegation zone at 8th place.

No confirmation on when the league will resume or if it will ever resume.

After a year of uncertainty regarding the status of the league, the government has finally lifted the state of emergency and curfew imposed over the nation. With 3 more months left in the year 78, the league governing body decided that the league will resume as it stopped a year ago instead of starting a new season.

A lot has changed over a year. The most controversial one is the appointment of Ross Hearkener as the national team head coach. The fans of Royal Puncakpura accused the president of Eraman Football Association, Tun Sengalang Petara of making the appointment solely to weaken the league leader who is 3 points ahead of second-placed, Royal Daulapura, a club owned by Tun Sengalang Petara himself. The timing of the appointment, 2 weeks before the league resume angered the Royal Puncakpura even more.

Anara who was struggling last year and is only 2 points above the relegation zone has appointed Sembara Bunian, former manager of Eraman national team and the Southern Palm Islands national team as their new head coach in their bid to save their season.

Anara 2–1 Dunyalam
Royal Baktipura 1–1 Damaisari
Mitra 1–5 Royal Daulapura

A shocking 4-1 defeat at home against relegation battler, Royal Arupura has caused the Royal Puncakpura even angrier at the loss of their former head coach. They lost the top stop on goal difference to Royal Daulapura who won convincingly against surprise package Mitra.

Sembara Bunian started his journey with Anara with 3 points. The club from the capital city had to battle it out against relegation battler Dunyalam before winning the match 2-1.

Anara continues their rise on the league table with their second victory in two matches under Sembara Bunian at Damaisari. The slim 1-0 victory has propelled them to 6th place, just a point behind Malkan who is 4th, the last continental spot.

Royal Puncakpura is certainly missing Ross Hearkener after they fail to collect full points again, this time against the newly promoted Soma. Both teams played an entertaining match but have to settle with a point after a 3-3 draw. Royal Daulapura strengthened their position at the top with a 2-1 win against Royal Baktipura at home.

All eyes are on the capital city for Matchday 15. It's the Capital Derby again between the two biggest clubs in Eraman, Anara from the capital city and Royal Daulapura from the royal capital. The timing of the match is perfect. Anara is in great form under the guidance of new head coach Sembara Bunian while Royal Daulapura is at the top of the table and needed a win to strengthen their position. Royal Daulapura won the hotly contested match on a 3-1 scoreline.

In the highland, Royal Puncakpura got their first win after the departure of Ross Hearkener with a 3-1 win over relegation battler Siasari. With just 2 points separating them from the league leader Royal Daulapura, the Royal Puncakpura fans are still hopeful of defending the league title.

Royal Daulapura has been crowned champion with 1 more match left to be played. It's the third league title for Royal Daulapura and first for Tun Sengalang Petara as head coach.

The race for the other 3 continental qualification spots is still open with 4 clubs; Royal Puncakpura, Mitra, Anara, and Malkan competing for it until the final match of the season.

At the other end of the table, Dunyalam was relegated to Liga Eraman 2. Royal Arupura and Royal Baktipura will have to wait for the final match of the season to avoid relegation.

Royal Daulapura finished the season in style with a win over Galra away from home. But it's a different story for the other 4 top clubs in Eraman. With everything to be played for, none of the 4 clubs managed to win their respective match. Mitra and Anara were tied. Royal Puncakpura lost to Damaisari. And the biggest upset of the night, Malkan defeat to Royal Arupura. Malkan will have to settle with the 5th spot, just outside of the continental qualification spot with that defeat.

The victory of Royal Arupura at Malkan was not enough for them to avoid the drop as Royal Baktipura also won its final match. The club from the third biggest city in Eraman will play in Liga Eraman 2 next season.

Mitra 0–1 Malkan

The curtain closer of the season, the Eraman Cup final between second-placed Mitra and fifth-placed Malkan.

Malkan was eager to win the match after finishing just 3 points away from the last continental qualifying spot through the league. And indeed they delivered, Malkan won the match narrowly and lifted the Eraman Cup for the first time.

Liga Eraman Transfer Rumours

The league champion, Royal Daulapura is working on a deal to bring Galra star playmaker, Emma Balmer to bolster their midfield for continental football. The 32 years old Kohnheadian is looking to leave for a new challenge after 3 seasons with Galra and Galra is said to be ready to cash in on their star.

Royal Daulapura is set to have a busy transfer window with owner and manager, Tun Sengalang Petara setting his eyes to upgrade their right-back department. His number 1 priority for the position is the 21 years old Ziwani, Surinder Fernandes from Fadrön Flight who impressed Tun Sengalang Petara with his performance in recently concluded 7th Melayu Archipelago Cup in Pemecutan.

Galra could lose another star before the season starts with interest from Royal Puncakpura on star striker from Pemecutan, Pandu Oka Jaya. Pandu Oka Jaya is the top goalscorer for Galra for the last 3 seasons.

The league runner-up, Mitra, and arch-rival, Soma are battling it out to sign Pemecutan midfielder Rama Karyadi from Siasari. Siasari head coach, Pintar Bestari reportedly wants to retain the playmaker but the board is tempted to cash in on their star.

Eraman Cup Champion, Malkan has joined the race to sign 24 years old Sharktail national team striker, Illias Rezal from Kota Sultan. Kota Sultan has put a $2.8m price tag on the star striker and Malkan is believed to be ready to break the bank.

Another Sharktail national team player reported to be heading north to Eraman is 28 years old left-back, Harold from Kota Jembal. Damaisari is reportedly ready to pay $3.5m for Harold who has featured 84 times for his country. If the transfer can be completed, Harold will be the second Sharktailian playing for Damaisari joining right back, Irfan Danial.

Day 30 - Month 1 - Year 6

Royal Daulapura signed Emma Balmer and Illias Rezal

Daulapura: Sharktail national team striker, Illias Rezal and former Kohnhead national team player, Emma Balmer will be donning the Royal Daulapura jersey in the Liga Eraman this season.

The announcement was made on the official website of Royal Daulapura today.

"Welcome to Emma Balmer, a player who is well known in the country's football arena by creating a name with the Galra squad from Year 3 to 5.

"Welcome to Eraman for Illias Rezal, 24 years old forward from Sharktail who is well known for his solid performance with the Sharktail national team," Royal Daulapura said in two separate articles.

Meanwhile, Tun Sengalang Petara (prime minister of Eraman, president of ERAFA, owner and head coach of Royal Daulapura) when contacted said he hoped the presence of Balmer and Illias would bring positive impact to the team.

“Balmer is a very professional player not only on the field but also off the field and this can be an example to our other local players.

“Even though Balmer is 32 years old, we saw her ability in the past 3 seasons for Galra, she is a fighter and the decision to take her was the result of discussions with all the coaches.

“The coaching staff also sees Balmer as someone who can change the game,” he said.

Commenting on Illias Rezal, the prime minister said, the player is one of the best strikers in Sharktail that can reach greater success in his career.

'"Illias is just 24 years old and he is a national team regular, that's why I and the coaching staff had the utmost confidence in his ability.

Emma Balmer was signed from Galra for $0.5m while Illias Rezal was signed from Kota Sultan FC for $2.8m.
