Biography: (At Least Two Paragraphs)
Jack Masterson was born just as the Soviet Union gasped it’s last dying breath. Born to a white father and mixed mother. His father was a member of the 25th Infantry Division, and was deployed in Operation Desert Storm at the time of his birth, and he first saw his father at age 3, in 1994. Growing up, he became interested in BB Guns, using them to have play fights with his older brother, who was 4 years older than him. He was a star football player, winning MVP of his Pop Warner football team. When he entered High school at age 13, his brother had just turned 18, and enlisted in the US Army. At age 15, he was in the middle of a math class when he was pulled out to receive the news that his brother’s convoy had been hit by an IED, and his brother was one of the five men killed. The loss made him angry, at the Iraqi bastards, the world, the Army, for putting his brother in a position to die.
At age 17, he lied about his age to join the US Army. He would be assigned to the 25th Infantry Division, prolonging his chance to to get revenge. He was assigned as his company’s Small Arms Repairman. In 2012, he passed U.S Ranger selection, and was assigned to the 75th Ranger Regiment, as the unit had a shortage of men who knew how to repair guns. He was deployed to the outskirts of Basra, where his unit built an Outpost. He was shot in the hip during an attack on the outpost, and spent 2 months in the Green Zone to recuperate. Just a year after his return to service, in 2015, he was sent to Afghanistan. In 2016, his convoy was ambushed by Taliban fighters. He earned a Bronze Medal of valor for leading a charge towards an MRAP to retake the armored car and use its machine gun against Taliban combatants.
