Federativna Liga Football Zeta Reka i Hugeltaldom/Bundesliga Fussball Rekadom und Hügeltaldom
Season 79
Awards
The League Awards were voted on by players, coaches, referees, club bosses and others given a ballot by FLF officials. In addition to categories for new signings, youngsters, and others, the crown jewel of the 3-D Com All XI is voted on by the electoral body.
3D-Com All XI
GK: Björnólfur Ernestisson (GRF) (AK Stanimir) (All XI Debut)Champions Aleiusia Capital took four spots in the proper list and Janson Atangana was the second alternate midfielder. The goal scoring Capital had their creative playmaker Lysistrata Carter plus two forwards on the all XI, along with key defender Kostessen. Kostessen well and away was considered the best defender of the year. In fact, Capital dominated the best in position categories, except for one. Keeper Björnólfur Ernestisson has continued to improve in the Rekan Leagues, and now is finally the standout player in goal. Stojan Heiden was the last forward on the main list, and some feel this was not the right year for his fifth inclusion. Despite a disappointment laden season, AK Stanimir got two outfield slots in the All XI because of Heiden and loanee Stani Gröss. Gröss was a major mover and shaker in any match up. For Kven, fellow all XI midfielder Želmir Kolarowić with a forward lying playmaker/finisher role was the highlight of a team heartbroken by their finish.

Alternate Players
GK: Andrejow Werisokić (Ogroven Vanguardi FK)
GK: Branislaw Mucić (DD Porto Nowi)
DF: Yuri Kewić (DD Porto Nowi)
DF: Alfonce Du Thuict (GVN) (VZRH Matov-Uri)
MF: Rankoslaw Antonijewić (Ogroven Vanguardi FK)
MF: Janson Atangana (TKT) (Aleiusia Capital)
FW: Jakow Krstowić (DD Porto Nowi)
FW: Iwano Petarić (Bergstieger FK)
Some notable names were present in the alternate section. Former keeper of the season Andrejow Werisokić had a comeback year from a major injury last season, and was looking as good as before with his brand new captain’s armband. Mucić was forced to play more this season than anyone expected, but was able to make second place as a rookie. A fullback and a center back were the alternate defenders, a balance similar to what was found in the All XI. As mentioned earlier, Capital got a fifth player some honors thanks to the alternate list, but other teams improved their numbers as well. Non IFCF qualifying side Bergstieger had a tumultuous season, but Iwano Petarić was a solid goal scoring machine and was just as solid when Bergsteiger dropped points. VZRH also got onto the list with defender Alfonce Du Thuict. Vanguardi trippled their amount of spots on the list, while DD Porto Nowi quadrupled their player count and had the most alternates. Silver medals again for DD Porto Nowi.
Ljuban Iwanić Award (Player of the season)
MF: Lysistrata Carter (NPH) (Aleiusia Capital)The Ljuban Iwanić Award was a huge accolade for Lysistrata Carter, who wasn’t even one of the top five players in her position last season. Teammate Kostessen was another major contender for the award as he played across the right, center, and right center of Capital’s backline as a major force in transition without sacrificing defensive ability. Kolarowić was a “Smashmouth” player once again and was so close to the golden boot he could almost taste it. For the first time in years, a keeper was on the shortest of shortlists for players of the season. Björnólfur Ernestisson is just too good, are they too good for Zeta Reka? Stojan Heiden shocking got more votes than the forwards considered better by many in the All XI vote. With capital taking the top two slots, it makes some sense that AK Stanimir was able to sneak their attacker onto the list, and with two players in the top five this season all minds at the club are going to look to refine their game next season.
DF: Steffanow Kostessen (Aleiusia Capital)
MF: Želmir Kolarowić (Kven FK)
GK: Björnólfur Ernestisson (GRF) (AK Stanimir)
FW: Stojan Heiden (AK Stanimir)
Best Young Player (21 and under)
GK: Björnólfur Ernestisson (GRF) (AK Stanimir)With a spot in the top eleven players of the season, and as the best player in their position, the national team keeper from Græntfjall was the best young player of the season. The vote wasn’t even close. Other young players of note this year included the ever active Weber Banfi, Xannerian rookie Trevor Cathburt, national teamer Denis Pretchel and hotshot Annemarie Killirion. Cathburt was a hit this season with Der Berg’s faithful, as was teammate Killirion. Banfi plowed though on both sides of the ball, playing almost the entire season as a starter. Two Sanford contracted players made the awards shortlist, but neither can win it next year as only Denis Pretchel will remain eligible.
MF: Weber Banfi (Bergsteiger FK)
FW: Trevor Cathburt (XAN) (Sanford Der Berg PREMIER FK)
DF: Denis Pretchel (Platinastigrade)
DF: Annemarie Killirion (CMT) (Sanford Der Berg PREMIER FK)
Best New Signing
DF: Alfonce Du Thuict (GVN) (VZRH Matov-Uri)Costing only the shirt off of his own back, Alfonce Du Thuict was apparently a huge winner in this category. The Gouvanarchais center back was well in the top twenty players in the league in his debut season. Levi Matthis was perhaps a top thirty, and his club did better, but when you spend five million for your second highest scorer on your second place side. Constantine Brown was a pricy but vital player for VZRH’s return to the top three. Stani Gröss was like Du Thuict, in that he was free and a real asset, but will probably not be around next season.
MF: Constantine Brown (NPH) (VZRH Matov-Uri)
FW: Levi Matthis (BRE) (DD Porto Nowi)
DF: Annemarie Killirion (CMT) (Sanford Der Berg PREMIER FK)
MF: Stani Gröss (AK Stanimir)
Best Backup (ten starts or less)
DF: Djordje Tianić (DD Porto Nowi)The debate over this award was sharp. Tianić was a strong supporter along the flank during his fifteen appearances, including a game winning assist against Sanford Der Berg. Biltmans on the other hand scored twice as a substitute, one of which came during the opening contest of he season. In addition to that, he made a penalty, whereas Tianić whiffed his ht during the Republic’s Cup. Of course, the cup means nothing for a league award, and with Tianić contributing hard for half a season he was considered the best alternate. Djaja was brought into VZRH to back up Djurašewić, and was a respectable shadow for the Army Men.
FW: Stefan Biltmans (Aleiusia Capital)
FW: Miloš Djaja (VZRH Matov-Uri)
DF: Carson Ting (CMT) (Platinastigrade)
MF: Millanskio Dragonowić (DD Porto Nowi)
Comeback Player of the Year
MF: Stani Gröss (AK Stanimir)Gröss’s decision to come back to Zeta Reka from his perch in Cathair was a huge gamble, but it impressed the voters. His return dashed both Werisokić and Dix’s chances to take the title after missing large chunks of the last season due to injuries. Yuri Nowak did well in his first Rekan season for years, and Iwano Petarić in his second Division 1 season made an impact on a struggling side.
GK: Andrejow Werisokić (Ogroven Vanguardi FK)
MF: David Dix (Aleiusia Capital)
MF: Yuri Nowak (Ribar PRD)
FW: Iwano Petarić (Bergsteiger FK)

Goal of the Season
Nikola Djordjewić, DD Porto Nowi, vs. FK Finansijskigrade, Divsion 1, Match 18Youth international Djordjewić made a rocking kick from the touch line that hooked the near post and was nothing but net. Not only that, the kick was just two minutes into a DD Porto Nowi victory and was just the beginning for a night where DD Porto Nowi won by three goals. Djordjewić made the fastest goal in the top division this season by over three minutes, though the all time record of forty one seconds is safe and sound.
Jess Kijanskas, Ogroven Vanguardi, vs. AK Stanimir, 3-D Com SuperChallange, Championship Match
Mladen Sikimić, FK Crwenipoklongrade, @ Spartanac, Ogroven FLF Qualifying, Match 5

Zoran Tomić, Aleiusia Rverside, vs. VZRH Matov-Uri, Republic’s Cup, Quarter Finals
RekanSport Football Top Twenty
Despite winning the endorsement of the league, RekanSport's analysts preferred Carter's team mate Steffanow Kostessen. Even so, Capital almost took the entire podium had national team captain Želmir Kolarowić not squeaked into third. Seven of Capital's first choice players were included in the top twenty. The closest sides were AK Stanimir and DD Porto Nowi with three players. VZRH's two players were foreign products, while Vanguardi's were homegrown.# Pos Name Age Squad Nation

Division 2 Best XI
GK: Bryan Pierce (Porto Nowi OR) (Xanneria)While the FLF doesn't track the second division tightly, RekanSport's experts compiled a list of eleven players who were at the top of the mountain. With Porto Nowi OR and AFK Imperialismus built to fight at a higher level, they dominated the charts. The two clubs won first prize in three positions. Beesagrade's attack won them two spots in the forwards section with thanks to a pair of all rounders. Two foreign players made the list, and hopefully will move up a division next season. Žitarice Union coach Yakow Slobodanić guided his club to fight for the top three after being predicted to finish in the middle of the table.
