Bio:

November 4, 1994: Glukel was born in the Levant. Her father was an Army veteran, while her mother was a scientist.

2000-2012: Glukel faced racism and anti-Semitism throughout her school years via racial slurs and bullying, but she managed to ignore them all, but it hampers her self-esteem drastically. During that time, Glukel became fascinated with drawing to the point where she envisioned becoming a comic book artist one day. By 2012, she graduated from secondary school and was planning on attending a university, but she chose to go for a military education to follow her father's dream. Glukel was striving to join the air force.

2012-2015: Glukel studied and trained at a military education for three years, learning the basics of aerial combat. However, it wasn't easy for her at first, as it was a slow process. Upon graduating in 2015, Glukel applied to join the air force of the Levant, and she was eventually accepted. Her life as a pilot is just the beginning.

A few problems.

1: 79 lbs is almost criminally underweight. The character wouldn't be healthy, much less considered healthy enough to fly.
2: Alter A.1 is a WWI era biplane, and is notably not on the list of aircraft this RP supplies.
3: Levant is the equivalent of Israel in Strangereal, it's unlikely they'd face anti-Semitism there.
4: Levant hasn't sent any forces to assist Emmeria, as such simply being in the Levant Air Force isn't sufficient. Perhaps add some more to her life that would explain her transition from being in the armed forces to becoming a mercenary.

That's okay. I'm not interested in this RP in the first place anyway due to other stuff getting in the way of things. Perhaps, I'll be interested again if I'm available.

Is loading the planes up with weapons that could potentially be installed on them (I mean the hard points could clearly support the weapons of the same caliber and type), but were not installed due to difference in time will we still be allowed to use such weapons? Of course I’m not talking about outfitting the MiG-19 with R-60M because this is just plain ridiculous- the avionics wouldn’t be compatible and stuff

To be more precise will I be allowed to load the MiG-19 with OFAB-250ShL low-altitude bomb. According to the manual, pages 99 and 102, and this book about MiG-19 and MiG-17, page 137 it could carry 250 kg unguided bombs. Now the only question here is wether or not using bombs that fit in with the given parameters and are analogous to those that were historically used on this plane will be allowed.

Nationality: Leasathian
Age (21 at youngest): 35
Gender: Male

Rank (O-1, O-2 or O-3): O-1
Callsign: Spectre

Appearance:
Image

Height: 5'11
Weight: 189 lbs

Aircraft: Su-35S Flanker-E
Aircraft Appearance: The aircraft is painted in a green and brown color scheme, with the emblem located below the cockpit.
Emblem: An eagle in flight clutching a sword.
Funds: Ƶ3,000

Personality: Villanueva can be described as an intelligent and willful, willing to do anything to achieve his goals as long as he has what he views as an effective plan. Villanueva enjoys history, travel, and good planes, all factors that sent him to work abroad from his homeland as a mercenary pilot. He is willing to fight for any cause as long he gets good pay.
Strengths: He is well-versed in the history (especially military history) of other nations, as well as design, strengths, and weaknesses of different warplanes. He is good at performing ground-attack missions and flying strike missions. Although the best his skill set has to offer is in air-to-ground combat he has decent air-to-air skills.
Weaknesses: When he is worried and in a stressful situation, his ability to plan deteriorates and he becomes more reckless.
Likes: International food, military history, warplanes, rock music, travel, and family.
Dislikes: Being grounded, gambling, and what he sees as bad planning.

Bio: Jose Santiago Villanueva was born in Alendal, the capital of Leasath, in 1980. His family was a group of small-business owners that owned a tiny restaurant chain in the Leasathian capital. He had a relatively privileged middle-class upbringing, with an uneventful childhood and adolescence. He was favored by his school teachers for being a dedicated and intelligent student, something fostered in him by his parents. When he graduated from high school he decided to pursue a career as an officer in the Leasath Air Force, a dream he had had since attending air shows in his childhood, instead of working in the family business.

He attended the air force academy and went on to receive pilot training. He was selected to fly fighter aircraft and completed his training in the mid-2000s. It was at this time he met his wife, who he would later marry in the late 2000s and have a son with at the time the Leasathian economy collapsed inn the early 2010s, causing the Leasathian Civil War to break out. Though there was some air-to-air combat with LAF warplanes seized by rebel forces, most of the fighting was on the ground, meaning that pilots like Villanueva started performing more air-to-ground and CAS missions and flying strike aircraft. This led to Villanueva developing superb skills in ground-attack and CAS-type missions.

In the mid-2010s his family fell on hard times. His wife lost her job and his parents and relatives, who had been pro-government sympathizers, had their restaurants, and thus their source of income, destroyed in bombings instigated by rebel militants punishing them for their pro-government sympathies. Knowing that his LAF salary would not be able to sustain them all, Villanueva decided to seek out work abroad as a well-paid mercenary fighter pilot, offering his abilities in ground-attack and CAS missions. He heard of the war between Emmeria and Estovakia and decided to offer his services to the Emmerian Air Force, bringing him to where he is now.

If anyone of you is interested then yes, IRL MiG-19’s we’re started with throwing burning rags into the engine. I’ve read it both in literature and knew that from talking to a guy who flew them in Monino museum. Russia is truly a very bizarre place)

You can’t find this technique in manuals. It’s some sort of ”people-made” technique

Typically, you load from the front quarter of an aircraft anyways, and not from behind, for safety reasons.

I based my loading post on MiG-19 manual. There is a lot of difference between how Russian and American planes were serviced.

I was just counting who was in NATO. Since the term "Ally" outside that circle starts to get hazier definitions. Under certain definitions you could include Japan and Mongolia in the same bracket.

Same here.

Edit: I just realized that Mission 2 is the perfect time to introduce my character so he can prove his ground-attack and CAS skills.

Rank (O-1, O-2 or O-3): O-1
Callsign: Spectre

Appearance:
Height: 5'11
Weight: 189 lbs

Aircraft: Su-17M3 Fitter-H

Question: do pilots get promotions? Also, please tell me if anything is wrong so I can update my app.

Accepted.

Barring extraordinary circumstance, promotions are unlikely.

Will it be acceptable that my character still took some A-G munitions (S-5 rockets) despite being told not to? I mean they do technically qualify as A-A munitions…
