church tanks and troops advance using a few captured artillery pieces to support them on their attack. only 500 troops defend the city. Their first defenses quick fall from tanks and our ordered to retreat as more reinforcements(1k troops) come to their aid. They do order 67 'defend till the death' at the main train station in the city. The church commander sees the right and left flanks are weak and attacks them. the right flank gets reinforcements and holds but the left flank doesn't and falls. church forces charge en-masse trying to take the city. democratic forces defend for a few minutes before being allowed to retreat giving church the city. They begin to dig in.

The commander of the laka city defense decides to attempt to seize mt. tobaki as they think it's abandoned. unforchantly it wasn't abandoned but defended by a small garrison. when their fired at they quickly realize it's a small force and continue to attack and not retreat. but a tank force has arrived to support church forces. church forces hit a weak back flank and successfully cut the force into 2. The force attacking mt. tobaki quickly falls with little troops left laka falls after intense fighting.

Olpenese bombers flatten the Capitol cathedral at night. No civilians or officials are killed, but the raid destroys the cathedral

that would be impossible becuase at least 5000 people are in the building. also over 400 billion NSD worth of religouse artifacts is in the cathedral. (I am talking about the capitol of the church. Their is a capitol cathedral in capital district which what you decribed could happen but it's not important in the religion.)

It was at midnight so I guess guards would die and I didn't want to destroy artifacts, just spite the religious faction.

Olpenese reinforcements finally arrive in the democratic capital. They are given to an army and told that they will assist when the attack on the church capital is ready.

"surely nothing could survive the bombing." said a captain as the first wave approached the city then we're open firing by machine guns. wave after wave of men successfully got closer and destroyed more church positions but never reach their lines before a small division of men from the south easily went over the church's weak southern flank and exposed the church's positions allow the 1st and 5th armies into the city. vastly outnumbered They decided to retreat. pockets of resistance held out for the next hour. by that time the army had successfully retreated and could not be destroyed.

With the jerry corner administration at near-dictatorial powers pro-democratic forces inside ZN's military have accepted the royalist deal and risen up in a attempted coup against jerry corner but hardliners have taken control of ZN's capital. democratic forces are trying to take zaricoa back and take out jerry corner with little civilians causalities. The royalists have put in a small number of forces into it preferring to power grab elsewhere in ZN while democratic forces are attacking zaricoa.

South Olpen's MoC gets the news immediately after the leader of the insurgency speaks out. In a joint session of Congress he announces that he will be putting forward a bill to them that would recognize the Democratic insurgents as the legitimate government.

with special forces. which can do a lot. ZN is the middle of the pacific and the island which zaricoa is in is in the center of ZN's islands. and zaricoa is in the center-ish of the island. so that's why I say it's hard to get troops there.

12:00 A.M. zaricoa metro area, in the states of zaricoa, new fatherland, and new sex.
church forces prepare to cross the new essex and devol rivers surround a army of nearly 2 million democratic militias men(basically civilians volunteers). They cross the new essex river without any resistance and cross at 5 different points on the devil river in the northern 3 they make minor breakouts, on the 2nd southern one they make a full breakout, and on the most southern they are unable to cross before the troops from the second southern crossing aid them. Only a battalion of troops defending till the death prevent slows down their advance to the sea. allowing for some 60k troops to escape before they reach the sea encircling the remaining soldiers.

1:40 P.M. between inhouche and zaricoa metroarea
democratic forces advance across the open field between the two cities. tanks lead a spearhead on a road. the same priest that aided in the destruction of the early democratic forces alerts church lines of the attack. They are aware an attack will come but prepare/aim artillery at the force. Once it is in range they fire. but with little guns after attacks from jets and democratic forces being ready the attack is semi-effectiant. The artillary would coutinue toi support defending troops hold the line as democratic forces attack unsucessfully.

7:40 P.M. northerneastern zaricoa.
royalist tank battalions have arrived to support their democratic allies. They use aircraft to probe for weak points and find that the northern part of the dovel river(upstream also near where the dovel and new essex rivers combine) has little troops due to man-power gaps. Royalists decide to split their forces into two. one will cross in the north one in the south. the north successfully crosses without issue other than the few troops alert command. In the south with both sides bogged down in trench warfare(and Vietnam like war crimes against civilians being committed by both sides. IE they can't tell out spies so kill all the civilians) they do little untill thr northern break out reachs the south. The troops realize their under threat of being surrounded and begin to retreat to push back the northern breakout but with decrease forces democratic forces break the lin in the south and route and crush the whole church army. With little resistance left the tanks roll over the whole country. also due to that the remaining forces try to defend jerry corner in the capitol district allowing troops from the west to also storm in. without renforcements and outnumbered They try a last stand in the capitol district but fail. jerry corner and over 1,00 of his key-supporters are captured. a few church officials reorganized nearly instantly and try to organize their supports to resist all reforms the democratic forces try to make to make ZN mored democratic and stop this from happening again.
