Reform of Educational Provisions in Countries

Category: Education and Creativity

RECOGNISING that education should be a vital part of a country's principles,

REGARDING all countries, unless otherwise designated, are built on democratic ideals and concepts,

NOTING that education and the future of children needs to be further recognised and improved,

Hereby:

1. Defines 'education' as the concept and process of giving out information and instruction, and acquiring skills, knowledge and beliefs through research.

2. Calls on all member nations of the World Assembly, and councils thereof, to regard education for children as an imperative need, that defines the future of their population.

3. Establishes the World Assembly Education Agency, and mandates that:
    a. They shall be given powers to inspect, advise, and support education and activities thereof
    b. Nations are advised to refer to them if they wish to further their educational facilities within their jurisdiction

4. Restates that education is regarded as an essential part of society, and should be supported and funded where it can.

I'm thinking of removing the clause that establishes the Education Agency; I think we can get along without it, but it's there until people are opposed to it.

Maria vyn Nysen walks over to the ambassador from Marianian with a map file and slides it over the table towards them, and smiles politely. "Your intent is noble, Ambassador, but unfortunately it would duplicate existing WA legislation, namely GAR #80 "A Promotion Of Basic Education"."
