How long is a term for your nation's head of state?
The President serves for a 6 year term

How many terms can your nation's head of state serve?
Originally the constitution had no set term limits for the President. It was only until the passage of the 8th amendment that the President was restricted to 4 terms with no person serving more than 24 years

How long is a term for your nation's head of government?
The Prime Minister officially has no set term as they serve at the pleasure of the National Assembly, however they technically have a three year term.

How many terms can your nation's head of government serve?
Unlimited. The longest Prime Minister served for 24 years

How long is a term in your nation's legislature?
As the Federal Parliament is bicameral there are two different houses each with it’s own terms. The Federal Senate has 6 year terms that are staggered, with one half of the senate being elected with the President while the other half is elected halfway through the President’s term, while the National Assembly has 3 year terms

How many terms can a member of your nation's legislature serve? There are no term limits for the Federal Parliament Thermodolia

National Animal
What's your nation's national animal? The archaeotuthis (Nagian name: pracheen vidroop, or ancient squid).
Is it a mammal, a reptile, a bird, or what? A giant squid.
Is it in the real world? It is similar to Earth giant squid, though the Nagian variety lives in freshwater and is acclimated to people.
Is it allowed to be hunted? Absolutely not. To kill an archaeotuthis is one of the highest crimes of the nation, punishable by exile at best.
Is it near, at, or surpassing human intelligence? No.
What does its flesh taste like? Exactly like squid.
How endangered is it? It is plentiful within its home ranges.
Is it magical? No, though it is considered sacred.
How was it created? By magic, technology, evolution, or by a god/goddess? Some Nagians believe the archaeotuthis was the first form taken by the creator of the universe, hence the appellation archaeo-. Like all animals in Blue Nagia, it is a product of evolution.
Is it allowed to be used as a pet? No, though it frequently lives in temple lakes and is cared for by the temple guardians, similar to how crocodiles live in the lakes surrounding temples in India.
Where does it live? Rivers and lakes.
If one were to kill someone, what would people do to it? There are no records of an archaeotuthis harming someone: it is a gentle creature. If it were to occur, it would likely be treated as an act of god(s). Prayers and rituals would be carried out to discover the meaning of the act, but the animal would not be harmed.
What are expensive resources you can get from it? Its ink is used in the writing of sacred texts. However, the ink must be given voluntarily by the creature.

Does your nation have a Red Cross, Red Crescent, or other Red society?: Possesses a culturally and religiously neutral Red Crystal Society due to the Koškr's cultural and religious diversity.
When was it founded?: 1979 during the opening up of the country.
Where are its headquarters?Koštom(the de facto capital)
Košron is the national ideology of the Koškr and builds on four principles for all of society:

Clan: All levels of society must serve those around them:
A Koš must aid their clan so their clan can aid its fellow clans so they can all aid the nation, so all levels can aid their members.

Task: A Koš and their clan must work efficiently and harmonious for the whole, like organs in a body or birds in a flock.

Team: All Koš must advance as one, and share the common bounty of that advancement so no individual grows delirious off excess while his compatriots starve.

Nation: Like birds in a flock, individual souls follow their fellows in the wake of their common spirit, a sum greater than its parts. The flock must exalt the common spirit of their clan and nation to ascend with them.

How long is a term for your nation's head of state? Unlimited. The monarch's term lasts from the death or abdication of the predecessor to their own death or abdication.
How many terms can your nation's head of state serve? Since the monarch's term is for life, they can only serve one term.
How long is a term for your nation's head of government? The prime minister (president of the Royal Assembly) has no set term length and must retain the confidence of a majority of the Royal Assembly. If no single candidate can be agreed upon by a majority of the Royal Assembly, a prime minister may lead a minority government with the support of the largest political group in government, but this has never happened since the current constitution of Arthropol was passed in 1958.
How many terms can your nation's head of government serve? The prime minister can serve as long as they are reelected to the Royal Assembly and can retain the confidence of a majority of the Royal Assembly.
How long is a term in your nation's legislature? A term in the Royal Assembly lasts a minimum of one year and a maximum of four years. However, due to Arthropol's political stability, elections have been held every four years apart since 1958 except for 2020, when it was moved to half a year earlier due to COVID.
How many terms can a member of your nation's legislature serve? A member of the Royal Assembly can serve unlimited terms.

Is the majority population indigenous to your nation?
Yes, most English citizens belong to the indigenous population, whom are the English. The Welsh and Cornish are also indigenous peoples, whose lands were incorporated and integrated into the English realm many centuries ago.
If yes:
Are they proud of their heritage?
Yes, most English people are proud of their Englishness and their heritage, especially since the new government came to power. Ancestral pride has risen greatly, sometimes to the anger of crazed ‘Antinationalists’ and other radical groups.
Has there been a history of their oppression or removal from their land?
Yes, though it has since been many centuries. The English were repressed and the lands of English landowners were seized by Norman conquerers, such as William the Bastard and his underlings.
Have they ever conquered or colonized other nation's indigenous populations?
Yes, the world over in fact. The success of the English civilisation and nation is a source of pride for many.
Overall, how much does your people's indigenous heritage affect them, politics, and the nation in general?
Beyond what can be said. English nationalism and identity is a core tenet of the state.
KINGDOM OF ENGLAND An independent England set several decades in the future, administrated by a Blue Labour-esque party and headed by a Catholic Lord Protector.

[*]not change at all (Muus - Muus)
[*]end in -er/-r (Rost - Roster), this is extremely rare.
[*]or a combination thereof (boom > bööme)

Loanwords from certain languages (Latin, French, Greek, English) tend to keep their original plurals, which often changes to regular -en forms, when becoming native (Bagett-Bagetten).

If not, are you a member of a language academy relating to your nation's language(s)? N/A

Does your nation use Penal Battalions for military service? Yes

If your nation does not use penal battalions, ignore the rest of this survey.

What crimes can make you eligible for penal service? Treason, sedition, deception, obstruction of justice, desertion, and other acts that: "...are considered harmful to the armed forces and may damage or hamper its ability to operate efficiently and competently."

How many men in your military currently serve as penal troops? 27,600 enlists, 57 officers

Describe the roles penal troops play in your military. Penal forces are strictly kept in line by the Military Police Corps, an independent corps of the Molopovian Armed Forces. Penal troops in peacetime are subjected to difficult and impossible trials, such as sprinting 200 meters while being fired at with machine guns, disarming a minefield within 40 seconds lest all the mines explode, and surviving in a tear gas chamber for 120 seconds. In wartime, they are sent to the most critical and dangerous sectors, tasked with rushing forward aimlessly until they succeed or die. Surviving penal troops are pardoned if they were wounded or performed a heroic act, otherwise they continue to serve in their penal unit. Summary executions are often held, mostly to execute those with severe charges who have failed to earn their pardon, or those horribly incompetent overall. Penal units were established by the Ministry of Defense's Directive 129, formally implemented on July 1915.

Are penal troops given any training? If so, describe briefly how. The maximum term for penal troops are six months. They are trained very rigorously daily, penal soldiers are known to be severely tortured or killed just for minor errors. At the end of each month, they undergo the aforementioned harsh trials such as surviving in a tear gas chamber.

Describe the relationship between Penal Troops and Normal Soldiers. How would they cooperate on the field? Normal units are separated to the best effort they can from penal units. The penal troops usually spearhead offensives in wartime, allowing for less normal troops to be slaughtered in the front lines.

How well are Penal troops equipped compared to Normal Soldiers? Penal units are only authorized to equip themselves with rifles manufactured before 1930.

How do conditions of Penal Troops compare to those of Normal Soldiers? Penal troops receive 1/4 of the rations, equipment and mercy of the normal soldiers, and their disciplinary requirements are increased tenfold.
