HKL becomes GLH, introduction of RLH

The Kickvolley Control Board of Hebitaka(KCBH) under the AHSAMC was in control of all the Kickvolleyball(otherwise called Sepak Takraw) sports in the country. This board did a great job in selecting the team for the STWC resulting in Hebitaka becoming the finalists and runners for the first STWC. The KCBH has decided to broaden it's hand in sports and has renamed itself as Hebitakish Volley Leagues Commission (HVLC), controlling both Kickvolley and Volleyball. THis has led to the creation of a new league, The Royal League Hebitaka(RHL). This league will contain 12 teams all named after Hebitaki cities and states. The HKL has been renamed to Grand League Hebitaka(GLH) and two new teams has been added.
The round robin face off in the GLH has been reduced from 4 to 3, with each team playing one home, one away and one alternate(court home to nether teams) against the other team. The similar style will be used in RLH. The playoff style of both the leagues will be page knockout(similar to PPL)

Until the recent years, the Domestic Hebitakish Cricket League, which consisted of regional teams playing first class and list A games were all under the HCCB(Hebitakish Cricket Control Board).
But recently this board has merged with the AHSAMC giving us the opportunity to launch these leagues as a whole in our newswire. Hope you like it.

PPC III Champions: Mavericks

With a big gap in the Sepak takraw Season, the Grand League is finally here. The defending champions Anacondas have a new Server, Harish Chandan. Harish is being considered as one of the possible winners of the Emerging player award(Given to the best Rookie). The Runners up as well as the table toppers of the previous year, the Fantastics are also on the roll. Winning 20 games and reaching a stunning 100 points previous season, the team will try to win both the table as well as the trophy this time around. The Tyrants got knocked out pretty hard the last time around. Losing two of the two games in the Qualifier game the team had to go out disappointed. Well the Killer and captain Ganesh Chaturvedi promises that tides are going to be on their side now as they are to play well. The Dynamos met pretty well the same result as the Tyrants losing to Anacondas at 2 sets to none. Though we believe that the server Kirito Maiyuu might bring some good times for the Dynamos this time around and might as well get back the glory of the first season. Going down to the Dare Devils who finished fifth last time around and were just 5 points or in a sense one victory away from Anacondas who qualified as well as won the Grand League. The Dare Devils are comparatively new to the other teams as they did not play the first season. Hence the inexperienced team finishing at 5th is quite good result. The Honeycombs, another new team finished right beneath them at 65 points, 15 points less than the Devils. The team has got a new star named David Mullington signing for them.

Increase in Fanbase

Kickvolleyball in Hebitaka has always been a sort of Secondary sport given priority only after Football, Rugby or Cricket. But with Hebitaka's good success in the recent STWC, things changed a bit. The total online users in Hebitaka's official Kickvolleyball site increased by around 4 times. And there has been expectations of more sponsorships as seeing the growing fanbase, the SW Corps have bought it's rights and hence from now on GLH would be seen on Falcon Sports, which is a paid channel, instead of the free NTV. Hence there would be extra revenue from the TV rights. And since more people watch Falcon Sports, there would likely be more sponsors this season around too.

The league Stage of the tournament is over with an unbelievable result. The fan favorites Fantastics were thrown out by the unknown underdogs, the Honeycombs. A new and rather small team, the Honeycombs remained in the bottom of the table for most of the games. But as the team kept moving forth winning 8 out of the last 9, the Fantastics were losing it winning only 2 out of the last nine. This pushed the Fantastics down from the second position only to be removed out of the playoffs by the Honeycombs. The rest of the table were mostly constant for the whole league, with Dare Devils topping the Table. The defending champs Anacondas showed poor performance finishing 8th with only 55 points.

[Hebitaka]

After quite discussion among it's members, the All Hebitaka Sports and Athletics Management Committee has decided to tier up the Amateur Sports Upliftment Programme(ASUP). In the first tier of ASUP, Hebitaka was being signed up to international tournaments of sports that are not famous and hence has no pro leagues in the country. Since these sports have no pro leagues, they are called 'Amateur Sports' in the country. Sports like Handball, Baseball, Ice Hockey, Gridiron(or American Football), 7ball, Quidich, Pesapello, Field Hockey, Lacrosse etc. The ASUP has now entered it's second tier where the sports now would have their own franchise leagues. These leagues would be small, medium budget having 6 to 10 teams. Unlike other franchise leagues, these franchise leagues would focus on quality players instead of money so that the sport gain more and more recognition among the people of the nation. Contrary to the motto of these franchises though, the leagues and teams would be highly sponsored to attract the owners of the teams with potential profits.

The Rebeginning

The Domestic sports league of Hebitaka had been cancelled the last 2 season. A bloody revolution led the government to start a nationwide curfew that included the cancellation of many events. The national domestic leagues got cancelled as well that made loss of 2 crucial seasons in the career of many sportsman. The government provided money to many such important athletes during the time of emergency, but the men and women could not attain any gain in their play for the past two years. Anyways now with the curfew over we get to get back many domestic leagues open to players. Let's do it, the rebeginning.

[Hebitaka]

Pro Gridiron League

Hebitaka has decided to bring American football or Gridiron to light in this new franchise based gridiron league in the nation. The league is to be dynamic with 2 conferences each having three divisions, wiith each division consisting of 3 teams, making it 18 teams total. 4 from each conference, the division winners and a best 2nd place wild card, are to qualify into the playoffs, and the winner of each conference are to play in the star Cup.

Teams and Division

Royal League

The Royal League is the first of the two conferences. It is named after "The Royal League", an old Gridiron league in Hebitaka, which got defunct ages ago and was played between 8 clubs from the rather rich Eastern region. The clubs only allowed amateurs and was officially called "National Amateurs' League of Hebitaka" but was dubbed the royal league by the common public. The modern conference consists of 9 franchises based on those old amateur teams, though they allow professionals now. The teams are as follows:-
