Hey everyone, Kampf here. After coming to the new II, I've frankly been appalled by the level of sheer noobishness that has pervaded the forum. I thought jolt was bad, but this is beyond even that. At least on Jolt people usually posted paragraphs rather than one liners.
Anyways, with the transition to a new forum, it's my belief that we need a new sticky. Rather than simply a compilation of links like the stickies of old, we need one that tells the new wave of players exactly what to do. DO use a spellchecker. DON'T post one liners. DO try to get involved in the RPing community in more ways than just the occassional post (NSD, Lineart, Rendering, etc).
The stickies of old failed because no one wanted to dig through thousands of threads to find one little bit of information. Our new sticky could have a thread repository, for advanced guides on warfare and the like, but it should also contain a wealth of information that guides the average new player into creating a respectable name for himself. Thoughts?
