Background

The nation of Airceltria draws its name heavily from the first city that it borrows it's name. The history and myths of the city's founding tells of the first Auraroe leading numerous tribes that will eventually become the Airceltrian being lead by signs and visions by both the Masked Goddess and Horned God to the mountainous land that the gods ordained will be their promise land.

Resting for the night these tribes would sleep while their leader would conduct a night long ritual to receive an answer from their gods on where the city should be made. These ardious rituals will be rewarded for in a trance the Auraroe will step out of his tent and walk towards the edge of a cliff. From there he will see the rising sun come to bring the light of dawn upon the land and it was with the dawn that the Auraroe would see the Mount Sol and with it the vision of the gods. They showed to him a Heavenly Path that would lead to the promise site of their city.

Follow the vision they will find the plateau valley that was not only surrounded by hills with other mountains by the distance but had a river through a rich fertile land. Due to this land being perceived as a divine blessing it was called Airceltria- "The City of Dawn".

The city would become a commercial, industrial, military, cultural, and political hub of the growing nation as in the history of the nation the fate of the nation has always been dedicated on whether the city will survive or not. For while the nation has been invaded by foreign invaders none have ever taken the city and in most civil war those who have claimed the city have usually become victorious. It is believe that should the city fall than the nation will fall.

Currently the city of Airceltria still stands as the heart and soul of the nation, the home of the Electa Auraroe, and as a beacon of the coming dawn of a brighter future for the nation.

Landmarks

Auraroe Effigy: It is tradition for a statue made for the current Auraroe to stand upon Sovereign Square next to the Sacred Palace. Of this time the current Electa Auraroe is Alexandria Ashwood. This statue will stand until she either dies or passes her role to her daughter. From there the status will be moved to the Temple of Silent Remembrance where all other statues of past Auraroes are stored as well as relics and bodies of said leaders.

Sacred Palace: Both a fortified palace and a religious site. The sacred palace is the home of all Auraroes once they are in charge of the state. This structure is not only where important state administration is held but it is also a temple complex where important state and court ceremonies are held. A few parts of the palace are open for tourist to visit but most of the palace is off limits. The palace is said to be haunted by past Auraroes.

Bizarre Bazaar: A nickname given to it by tourists who had venture to it. This marketplace is where one can find anything ranging from foods, clothing, handicrafts, to electronics. What has given this place the nickname are the magical items being sold openly to the public to buy.
