China does not spend a lot on it's military. It's military spending has no effect on healthcare or education spending. A better education does not get you higher pay without a higher paying job.

Close thing. Russia may have the slight edge in arms, but they suffered badly as of recent. China, for what it lacks in tech makes up for in manpower.

Russia is in a bad situation as they would need to push everything down the Trans-Sibearian Railroad, which is going to be hell for them. China could probably get away with a quick strike on Vladivostock and cut the TSR off, and then dump a few armies onto Siberia and start negotaitions for land.

No, you see, this thread is about the hypothetical case of Russia and China going to war. In my case, I argued that Russia would win, and the resulting devastation with China would cause the jobs to be shipped elsewhere because of countries with strong manufacturing capabilities, like Sweden or Germany, and note that I use those countries as examples more then anything, I'm sure that there are other countries in this world that obviously would have a bigger amount of manufacturing capability then Sweden or Germany, but those two countries are the only ones that came to my head at the time, apologies if this upsets you.

Now of course during the transitional stage in which jobs are being moved in this hypothetical turnout, prices would rise, interest rates, etc., however, we would at the same time deal with this just as we have done during the last 100 years or so in an on/off matter.

This is not a good thing, but the subject is not "Is War Good?" so much as it is "Russia vs. China", which you have failed to address.

In short, economical theories about the hypothetical situations that might happen to us after the fact; are not so relevant in a thread about Russia fighting China.

The thing about that idea, is that it's cool to say that there are losers that are not directly involved in a war, but at the same time you're not completely being relevant to the thread without addressing the direct war in and of itself. It's also sort of a given that there's going to be a negative economic impact. Nobody's so stupid as to recognize that a war would not deplete economic capability in certain areas, even if they are not in the line of fire.

Also, if you don't like a thread's subject, you could always not post in it.
