to be fair, the bellerophon was also an intrepid class, most likely because they could use establishing shots and sets from voyager.
regardless though, In just about any show the sets are redressed and reused to establish different locations, that's how they save money.

All the ways the Movie Constitution Bridge set was redressed, including the Battle Bridge, the courtroom from "Measure of a Man", and various lab sets.

One of the few things Kurtz Trek could be considered competent in and it fails at even that.

Head showrunner of ST's greatest achievement right there!

Cool.
You're still railing against something has Trek has literally always had because you just.can't.help yourself.

The SFX leave much to be desired. Much like how the bridge features sounds from the TNG-Voyager era?
As for the bridge, I agree. Disco probably has the least memorable main bridge set of the Trek hero ships so far already, but it would fit in more in the new setting than it would in the 23rd century. Not to mention the size discrepancies from the inside to the outside of the ship. Also, does the fact that this is the Discovery-A make any sense? This is the Enterprise suffix problem from Ephraim and Dot. The letter suffix typically indicates that this vessel is a successor to a vessel which has previously been lost, right? Like the Motion Picture never featured the Enterprise-A, that vessel only came into existence after the original Enterprise was destroyed. Discovery wasn't destroyed, it just underwent a complete overhaul. The Motion Picture admitted the refitted Enterprise was "an almost totally new Enterprise", but it was still considered 1701. Unless Discovery gets blown up, shouldn't it still be just 1031?Discovery was officially listed as destroyed with all hands in the S2 finale, remember?

I don't care about sets being redressed, I was more annoyed by the half-assed CGI on the Zheng He, and the fact that they just cut and pasted it a hundred times.
How did DS9, with 90's CGI and a shoestring budget, have more convincing fleets than STP?

By recycling the CGI models made for First Contact for most of it.
