NOTE: The UIC is now one of two alliances that make up DECOMBIUS, an intergovernmental organization with very similar purposes.

DECOMBIUS (also referred to as UIC, the larger of the two alliances that constitute DECOMBIUS) is an intergovernmental organization that promotes international peace and stability, facilitates cooperation between countries, and allows discussion between governments. Founded on January 1, 2021, the organization aims to consist of as many widely-recognized nations as possible. It is headquartered on Daaeshdecombin Island, which is located off of the coast of The Allied Tribe. The International Cooperative has 4 principal organs: the General Assembly, the Security Council, the Humanitarian Council, and the International Tribunal.

The lack of effectiveness, independence, and bias of other alliances caused many nations to lose trust in them and DECOMBIUS was formed to prevent future wars, which other alliances were unable to do.

Almost all nations are allowed to join, whether your nation is not part of the WA, if the WA or a similar organization does not exist in your nation's canon, or your nation is part of the WA and also wants to join DECOMBIUS. Nations that support genocide are banned. Nations without any form of government can only obtain observer status at most. Nations that pursue national interests are allowed, but nations that mainly use their military to expand territorial interests by invading other nations can only obtain observer status at most. Members are nations that have been accepted into the DECOMBIUS. Observers are nations that were partially rejected and do not support genocide.

I'm considering about joining the UIC, but I'm not sure about the specifics, considering Skal Vinos's lore.

Skal Vinos technically doesn't have a foothold in the real world, because they're from another universe entirely (although NS does exist as a universe they can interact with, just in case I want to RP, like this). This means I can't write in a location that's not "another universe".

The another-universe part also comes in again as "magic" is something that is understood and practiced by Vinoans, in replacement of natural "science" as we know it. Magic doesn't work outside of their universe (which will henceforth be called Laerad) which is their primary reason why they would want to join the UIC – to acquire the means to properly interact with other worlds in the absence of their magic.

My magic, while powerful, can't be used to godmod as it, again, doesn't work outside of Laerad – relying on the wonky state of that universe's laws – and magic in that universe is limited by rules set in place by Laerad's creators. They're also not allowed to do things that would bring any superior hostile force onto Laerad. The UIC, as I see it, aims to promote peace and cooperation, so as long as the group doesn't invite serious heat, there won't be any problems from SV's end.

For an abbreviated version, SV is definitely NOT allowed to throw their weight around without consequence, both within and without Laerad.

(P.S. I've also refounded this nation just six days ago in NS time, does this count as an against?)

I read it, and I guess that's fine. The Allied Tribe and a few other nations here don't exist on NS Earth (at least not in our main reality), and for my nation, we do actually have magic, just really minor magic (such as sensing the emotions of others) and we don't really use this in our RPs.

I think you'll be fine since you actually seem to want to join us. I might lower that rule to 5, but I won't do that without approval from our players OOC.

So, you just need to fill out the application form and I guess we're ready to go. You will be 7 days refounded in a short time anyway.
