Cereal or Milk First?

Cereal and milk. Perhaps one of the most common breakfasts across the world.

However, with every thing, there is a debate. The debate for cereal and milk is what order to put them in.

Of course, both options are personal preferences, so neither one is correct.

I'm genuinely baffled that anyone would put the milk in first. Milk-first means that you have to correctly pre-estimate the amount of milk you need to wet the cereal without overflowing the bowl when the cereal's added, and that you have to be careful when pouring the cereal in (especially if it's big chunky things like Frosted Mini-Wheats) to avoid splashing milk out of the bowl, and you end up with cereal that's soggy on the bottom and dry on top. And I'm not seeing any countervailing advantages.
