Even under the assumption that global warming increases global temperature by a fixed degree everywhere (which is false), this would be dumb, since all that requires is that temperatures + the increase < freezing.

You're saying you're putting your faith in "research" of noah and biblical flood accounts, and predictions based on that? That's entirely reasonable from a starting point to say that other people who've spent years researching and forecasting this issue with actual experience and hard data are too fringist to allow any interpretation of an extreme climate circumstance?

Quiet you the fact that the world has been a lot warmer and a lot colder means nothing, this is about us and how a change in climate will interfere with us and make me feel uncomfortable. It's why the dinosaurs died out their coal plants made Earth too warm for them and they died.
