OOC: That's good, but hopefully we get to see your parties and their ideologies.

OOC: Hey, I got four questions for you (in case your answers would greatly help me when I edit the candidates' platforms here).
Question 1: Are fiscal conservatives opposed to government subsidies?
Question 2: Which policies appear to be socially liberal?
Question 3: Which policies appear to be economically liberal?
Question 4: What views would socialism have on social issues (as oppposed to conservatism and liberalism)?
Regarding your post above, I am interested in your general election (despite the fact that you already got a factbook full of political parties). I wonder what those different parties would be.

As you know, I'm probably going to be the only person that's ever gonna answer your questions, whether you like it or not, because I have nothing else to do.
So without further ado, here are my answers:
Question 1: Well, it depends on what you're giving the subsidies to. If it's for a failing company or brand, then no as they see them as weak, but if it's for a major economic project or sector (i.e. farming), and that is failing, then they would be ok with handing over a few.
Question 2: The establishment of a welfare state (for the most part), nationalizing a few key industries and giving people extensive civil liberties within a market economy.
Question 3: Supporting a market-based economy, with strong support for private property and free trade. Economic liberalism doesn't necessarily have a strong social position.
Question 4: Socialism, for the most part, is mainly an economic ideology, so it's social views vary widely by party. Most of the time, socialists (or at least modern ones) are socially left-wing, supporting things such as gay marriage, abortion etc. However, it is possible for a socialist party to be socially conservative, but that string is less common.
In response to your question regarding my election, I didn't mean that I would have separate parties running in it, I mean't that they wouldn't be the same as yours. My current parties in the factbook would run.
Hope you find this helpful!

A good amount of parties have endorsed candidates, and manifestos are coming out. A date should be able to roughly be identified by now.

I just created manifestos for the ARP and the ASDP, respectively. I will be checking on the nations who are currently working on manifestos for both the APDM and the AGP. On the other hand, we will be holding debates as soon as possible, so the election day might arrive in October. I will be working on a manifesto for the RAP.

I will start a debate between leaders of the largest parties soon. Election time might be in late October (although before Halloween). Questions would be appreciated.
