Aite I'll introduce the program in my next post if all's alright. Also will there be other senate meeting or any gathering later on. Feel sad I missed out on a chance to interact with other player chars.
I do have an idea of getting Space Force strictly involved with only relief and rescue operations for any refugees wanting to flee from the warzones in the Hyperborea region. If the United Federation's location on the map is confirmed, by rights we should be close enough to provide such assistance to the Hyperborea government.
Also, just to all of you in general to avoid confusion. WMDs are banned from use and development just within the Free Worlds. Not just nukes or thermonukes but any sort of WMD which includes anti-matter, red-matter and alpha-omega bomb of existential annihilation thingies......not that the Federation has any, just saying
I wouldn’t worry too much about things more exotic than engineered viruses and atomics. I can’t speak to dark matter, since a hard science approach to that doesn’t yet exist - but we have quite coherent models for breeding antimatter for use as a weapon or energy source, and the amount of bootstrapping necessary is rather impressively intense. Creating enough antimatter to destroy a star in her entirety takes somewhere on the order of a hundred thousand years of Kardashev II.III civilization devoted to that goal.
Granted, you can certainly level a city with smaller efforts. But you can drop an asteroid and get much cheaper, strongly analogous results.
