Wilder indeed. Though that probably means there won't be much in the way of any space battles going on considering the limited navy Hyperborea has, best that can do is some hit and run tactics on some isolated ship groups, perhaps against any Imperial scouting parties, but that'll be the extent of their offensive capabilities I would imagine. Apart from that, there's obviously some defensive stations and barges in orbit around the planets (varying in numbers and capabilities per planet of course).
I guess it can assume that at least on some of the planets Hyperborea has, there'll be good amount of surface to space based defense weaponry on the planetary surface that'll likely be providing the bulk of their defenses against anything in space from what I can imagine? Ground invasions are gonna be a quagmire for awhile until a beachhead can be made by the Imperials depending on the first planet they're going after.

Then that makes Super Battleships...SSDS, Super Super Star Destroyer

They’re loose analogues not exactly one for ones. As a Vengeance or other similar Imperial Cruisers are more than twice the size of an ISD. The more direct one for one analogue (though still slightly bigger than an SSD) is the Imperial Navy’s Imperium-Class Star Dreadnoughts. Between these, Imperial Heavy Cruisers, Battlecruisers, and Battleships/Carriers there isn’t really any direct analogues.
But what the Navy considers a “cruiser” can be different from a House or SAS in function and scope. Why I use the terminology of “Imperial Cruiser” versus just “Cruiser” to avoid confusion.

Ah ok
Is the vengeful like the main stay of the imperial fleet though? Like the ISD was in Star Wars for the empire

“It is difficult for me to imagine what “personal liberty” is enjoyed by an unemployed hungry person. True freedom can only be where there is no exploitation and oppression of one person by another; where there is not unemployment, and where a person is not living in fear of losing his job, his home and his bread. Only in such a society personal and any other freedom can exist for real and not on paper.” -J. V. STALIN

Shields do project outwards, what allows fighters to pass through. Shields can be large enough to cover areas of large metropolitan areas. Like the size of Long Island or such. But they lack the integrity to shield a planet.

So I could send a warship into the atmosphere and just go under the shield without having to pass though the shield at any point?
